The speed of their advance was actually not slow because, with Jia Yan’s long strides, even at a slower pace, their progress was on par with a regular vehicle. Thus, it didn’t take long for them to cross the main urban area and reach the relatively desolate Outer City.

As a vassal to the main city, the Outer City not only serves as a habitation for the impoverished, but it also houses some factories and other facilities that are not suitable to be based in the main city. Examples of these are waste treatment plants. The relatively poor lifeforms in the Outer City would not complain about these things. In fact, these factories existed first, and only after that did the poor population emerge!

Those they encountered along the way were still the less affluent extraterrestrial intelligent lifeforms, the ’paupers’ of an alien world, whose living conditions appeared to be rather standard, and even abject poor in some instances. Jia Yan had reached a level of strength where he could intuitively sense the strength of other lifeforms by just observing them stand still, or even their movements, ascertaining whether they were powerful beings or not!

Just then, Jia Yan halted.

"Who are you?!"

Daphne, sitting atop the Big Mosquito’s body, furrowed her brows. Unlike Jia Yan, her individual combat power was not as substantial, and therefore, her senses were not as keen. She couldn’t perceive that this creature was actually a being more formidable than the Giant Wolf that had previously fought against Jia Yan.

"Squeak squeak squeak squeak!! I... stop... pay!" The creature let out a shrill sound, struggling to communicate in the language of the Auster people.

Upon hearing its gibberish, Daphne was taken aback. She never imagined that such a fascinating lifeform could ignore the Big Mosquito’s huge form and dare to rob them while standing in its massive shadow, using a figure that was not much different from an Earth human’s.

The other alien lifeforms they had previously encountered on the street, let alone individual monsters, even the vehicles, slowed down when they saw the Big Mosquito. Jia Yan’s current body was a massive entity of several dozen feet long, even more exaggerated than a regular Earth truck!

All those vehicles feared collision with the Big Mosquito. Whether the Big Mosquito could withstand it or not was unsure, but the vehicle owners knew for certain that their vehicles would most likely be wrecked upon collision. Therefore, they all slowed down when they encountered the Big Mosquito.

Despite everyone avoiding the situation, there still existed such an adorable creature that ignorantly stood alone, attempting to rob them?!

Its combat-power-possessing body that towered as high as a three-story building, cast its shadow over this tiny monster.

As that creature made a strange squeaking noise, Jia Yan grew curious. Did this creature really believe it was powerful enough to confront him? Otherwise, why would it dare to provoke him under such a stark contrast in size?
