Jia Yan shook his head and said no more. Frankly, even including his time as a human, Jia Yan had lived for less than thirty years. Compared to someone who had lived for three hundred years, his life might not even amount to a fraction.
Therefore, he was unable to comprehend the depth of the woman’s feeling of having experienced the vicissitudes of life. However, Jia Yan felt that if he were to live on a strange planet as a guardian for three hundred years, alone, he probably couldn’t handle it!
Strangely, he developed a bit of respect for this woman. This had nothing to do with whether or not he would kill her; he merely admired her for living so long in solitude and loneliness.
What Jia Yan and Daphne did not know was that their movements on this planet had attracted considerable attention from the local monsters!
At the location of their battle with the flying object, there existed a creature possessing a monstrous form, with a body larger than an average Bull Horn Monster, adorned with a pair of wings, and evaluating the Frog Monsters it had dispatched earlier!
"Roar roar roar... roar roar roar!" The leader of the Frog Monsters roared at the gigantic creature in front of them.
They seemed to be communicating, their roars full of rhythm, like some sort of language!
The leader of the Frog Monsters seemed terrified of the Bull Horn Monster in front of him, his responding voice trembled slightly.
And rightly so, this Bull Horn Monster was truly enormous, overshadowing everything in sight!
Was the Big Mosquito’s seventeen-meter body terrifying?
Not necessarily!
This Bull Horn Monster, was a gigantic monster even more terrifying than the Big Mosquito!
Its body spanned a staggering fifty meters, and its sturdy forelimbs alone were as long as the Big Mosquito’s body. This was unimaginably horrifying!
Upon hearing the Frog Monster mention some information about the Big Mosquito, the creature’s eyes suddenly sparkled with a fierce glow!
Roar roar roar!----------------
This monster issued a roar as powerful as a tsunami, causing a shockwave that blasted in all directions under the astonishing air vibrations!
The monsters reporting the news completely failed to resist this shockwave and were all hurled into the distance one after another!
Looking back, the huge Bull Horn Monster, spotting the Frog Monsters on the ground, which had been blown away by its roar, expressed a look of disdain!
Afterward, the monster dramatically roared from where it was, yet again shaking heaven and earth!
Roar roar roar!----------------
With each roar, countless response sounds echoed from the neighboring woods.
Afterward, from within the depths of the forests, loads of strange darting sounds spread in all directions. The rustling caused a spine-chilling fear!
Moments later, all these sounds gradually faded away, and the Bull Horn Monster, disregarded them and resumed its crawling, seemingly over this episode.
It simply gazed reverently at the sky overhead, as if anticipating something worth its attention at the break of dawn.
In the vicinity, the rustling creatures, seemingly showed their presence as they distanced themselves from this massive monster!
These creatures appeared to be monstrous rats!
Unlike earthly rats with their long noses, they had short, wide mouths similar to those of bears. Their mouths were full of fangs, and coupled with their speed, these monsters were terribly frightening!
Although none of them exceeded two meters in length, many were about one-and-a-half to one-and-two-thirds meters long. In other words, they were roughly the size of an average earthling. Even armed, a human would probably not stand a chance against one of them in a one-on-one fight!
These Rat Monsters sagaciously scurried on the ground, their clever nostrils sniffing the aroma of the soil. Then they began moving around!
As if searching for something!
The Bull Horn Monster on the other hand, didn’t care about their activities at all, but simply focused on the distant horizon in the sky!
At this moment, another creature, similar to a vast military camp, a monster with a body length of over thirty meters, began to notice what was happening on the other side!
This monster was in a place similar to a small plain in a valley, with some strange wooden structures around it. It looked far more civilized than the Bull Horn Monster from before.
On this side, the creatures were totally different in form from those on the other. All these monsters had wings and looked somewhat similar to the insects on Earth!
The thirty-meter monster that had detected the nearby movements was similar to a giant moth on Earth, except its body was thirty meters long. There was no fluffy fur as on Earth’s moths, but an exoskeleton that you knew was astonishingly resilient just by looking at it!
Generally speaking, the difference between life forms on Earth and elsewhere is not drastic. Under the influence of the Cosmic Laws, although there are some variations, there are also inevitable connections!
They either have a pair of wings, or two or three pairs. Furthermore, their robust bodies were not simply enlarged versions of Earth’s creatures!
The thirty-meter terrifying Giant Moth noticed the Bull Horn Monster seeming to issue some command. Seeing that it had not made any significant moves, it withdrew its gaze with indifference and looked up to the sky, much like the Bull Horn Monster had...
They didn’t have to wait long!
Several bizarre aircraft with an intense sci-fi aura, plummeted towards the ground!
"Roar!!!!!!!!------" The Bull Horn Monster on the other side roared nearly simultaneously!
For a moment, it was like a mighty roar! A wave of endless sounds rolled off the ground!
The Moth Monsters here also exuded an eerie power into the surrounding air. If Jia Yan was here, he would have been astounded to discover that this power was incredibly similar to his Brainwave Power!
Or perhaps this could indeed be Brainwave Power. Even the way it was used seemed far more sophisticated than how Jia Yan used his Brainwave Power!
Boom! Boom! Boom!!!!!!!!----
The giant insect monster on this side, under the influence of the brainwave power from the Moth creature, all responded as if hearing a command and rose into the sky!
Ready for battle!
The sequence that had occurred before Jia Yan had appeared was happening once again!
Boom! Boom! Boom!!!!!!!!----
The terrifying battle shaking the earth, accompanied by shockwaves, burst open all around!
The aircraft in the sky were devastated. The monsters on this side also suffered terrible casualties from the various weapons of the aircraft!
But neither side retreated!
Their fight was much grander than any that Jia Yan had previously encountered!
In the face of such a level of warfare, the battle between humans and metal monsters was nothing more than a joke!
The vibrations from the battle even shocked Jia Yan and Daphne, who were far away.
"What is that?"
From a distance, Jia Yan saw rays of light emerging from afar, likely several hundred to even a thousand kilometers away.
Afterward, the power of some shockwaves, like the hurricane that had blown up, swayed the entire forest!
"It’s a war, we must go! Even if we’re far from the center of the war, it’s still too dangerous. Battles between Star-Level Civilizations can easily destroy all life on a planet. If they use the ultimate measure, even causing a planet to explode isn’t impossible, so we must quickly find a safe place, we can’t get involved!"
Daphne just glanced backward and let out a horrifying scream. Perhaps she was praying earlier that there would be troops of the Empire on this planet, but after seeing such a terrifying battle scene, even she didn’t want to approach that place. It was a hazardous area that a small-modified Biochemist like her could not tread!
Jia Yan glanced backward, listened to Daphne’s description, and suddenly accelerated, charging forward. He had been already flying!
