In the morning, Arabella and her assistants had a meeting with Marquess Sibruh to finalize the results of their information gathering around the territory and see if the Marquess could add any.

Since Arabella had gone around the whole territory with Alwin, she had also seen and heard what needed to be built or repaired.

She included it all in her proposals so they could allot funds for it.

Arabella then discussed her final draft of the project proposals for the construction projects with the Marquess.

There were no problems so far, so she only had to wait for the necessary signatures and Ferdinand’s approval so the funds could be released.

Once the budgets are released, they could begin buying materials.

A lot of materials would be purchased due to the scale of the construction projects. Thus, they have to purchase in advance so everything will be ready by the time they can begin the construction.

As for the workers, Arabella tasked the Sibruh family with it. She gave it as their chance to improve their image among the people. Thus, the Marquess and his family were in charge of enlisting construction workers and cooks for each project.

The hiring process was going well, with a lot of workers already enlisting and the whole Sibruh family taking care of it.

The next on her schedule was a congratulatory banquet for the researchers.

Arabella was looking forward to this. Since they came here, she had been meaning to meet them and thank them all for their continuous efforts, even during the times when the locals were unappreciative of their hard work.

She did not want to disturb her work last time, so she did not schedule a meeting with them.

But now that they were on a break while waiting for the plants to experiment on, it was okay to meet with them.

The venue of the banquet was in one of the halls in the castle.

It was a private banquet for the researchers and her, so no one else was invited aside from them.

The celebratory feast will be a bit later once the treatment is announced to the public.

The researchers still have the practical trials left, but she wanted to congratulate them for their current achievements.

Arabella headed there with Alwin since he was also invited as part of the researchers.

He only joined them for a bit, but his contribution was also major.

All the researchers rose and bowed to them once they entered the hall.

Even with the limited belongings they brought with them here, the researchers dressed as best they could for this banquet. Ivan and Count Cordelia were, of course, included.

They had practiced how to respond.

With Arabella and Count Cordelia parting the two, the banquet proceeded smoothly.
