"To everyone who is still in their homes, everyone can join the feasts. Please follow the instructions earlier," Nadia invited, so the people won’t hesitate to come out and join.

’Wouldn’t they think they are being treated as homeless beggars with no pride?’ Narcissa wondered.

However, on the other hand, more people indeed came out of their houses to join the feast after Nadia made the announcement.

Arabella learned from the common people’s thoughts that they were not insulted since they also had celebrations akin to this, where they invite everyone to join and eat during festivities.

Of course, nobles would likely not join, but their target was common people who were in number and were the most affected by the prohibition of farming.

They would address the nobles’ concerns separately. Thus, they had scheduled a separate event where they could speak to the nobles’ plights.

If they held a meeting with both nobles and commoners at the same time, it would likely only result in a clash since the two had different situations and interests.

And if they only listened to one side, the other might think they were being ignored and not treated as a contributor to this territory. Hence, they decided to hold separate events for the two groups.

Just seeing how different her noble assistants and less privileged assistants differed in perspective justified it.

"Your Majesty, there seems to be a lot of soldiers on standby. Maybe, we can have them help to distribute food to those who cannot join the lines," Nadia whispered to Arabella while glancing at the Marquess.

"Can we?" Arabella asked the Marquess since he had heard Nadia’s not-so-silent whisper.

"Yes, Your Majesty. Of course," the Marquess quickly agreed and made the announcement.

Arabella then had Alwin inform Riley to make more tables where the soldiers would line up to get food to distribute.

Once it was ready, Arabella nodded to the Marquess to make the announcement.

"To all soldiers on standby, please line up on the newly conjured distribution area and distribute food to those who cannot join the lines. You may also eat once you have served food to all those who cannot join the line," the Marquess said.

The soldiers bowed in their direction before heading to the food distribution area.

The locals were much closer to the soldiers since they were also commoners, so it was unlikely for a commotion to happen. Thus, they were the ones Nadia had mentioned to help instead of the knights.

[What about us?]

[They will reserve something for us once our duty is over, right?]

[We had been eating almost the same food every day. The food being disturbed looks so different and delicious...]

The knights were envious as they silently watched the delicious-looking food get distributed in front of them.

Arabella almost chuckled as she heard their thoughts.

It couldn’t be helped for them to feel hungry since the food was distributed in front of them.

Arabella then told Nadia to announce for the knights.

"As for the Imperial Knights, Her Majesty said you may eat after the feast. Those who are not on duty now may eat inside the castle grounds and alternate with the knights on duty after the feast," Nadia announced.

"Our deepest gratitudes, Your Majesty," the Imperial Knights bowed in Arabella’s direction.

Alwin then made tables and seats for the knights inside the palace grounds.

The knights who were not on duty quickly lined up too when a food distribution area popped up.

They were delighted to be able to eat different food from what they usually had since they came here to Sibruh.

[They are really going to eat even though the security must be the highest now that Her Majesty is here?!!]

[Aren’t they being too lax? What if something happened while everyone is relaxed, chatting, and eating?!]

[If something happened to Her Majesty here, we will be the ones to blame!]

The Marquess and his family were shocked by the behavior of the Imperial Knights.

Arabella smiled at them and said, "Fret not, I have magicians guarding me. They are simply in hiding. These five knights with me are also more than enough to protect me. And they are led by Sir Rendell. I believe he’s more famous as Black Wolf."

"Black Wolf?!!" Marquess Sibruh and his family gasped.

"Rest assured, Sir Rendell is loyal to His Majesty," Arabella smiled at the Sibruh family, who had all gotten pale.

"I-I see... I understand," Marquess Sibruh slowly nodded his head.

His family also sighed in relief. But, they reminded themselves to be sure none of their people ever dares to insult Rendell.

"Your knights who are not on duty may also join the feasts," Arabella said, since she heard the thoughts of the Sibruh knights wondering if something would be left for them at all.

"I’ll have them eat later once the Imperial Knights are done, Your Majesty," Marquess Sibruh feared that someone might cause a disruption while everyone was focused on the food.

He wanted to be as vigilant as possible since he was the one who would answer Ferdinand if something happened to Arabella while she was here.

"I see. Alright then."

Arabella could not insist since she knew Ferdinand would react excessively when it came to her safety.

"Then, Your Majesty, please allow me to guide you to the banquet hall. We have prepared the best of the local cuisine," Marquess Sibruh said.

"Please lead the way. Let’s also have our lunch indeed while the feast is ongoing," Arabella said.

Time quickly flew by as they were speaking with the locals.
