"Eh?" Evania blinked repeatedly. Her face turned red.

[ I thought he had always been loyal to his duties. How can he say that so easily? Now my heart is racing wild. That’s cheating.]

"I have always blamed myself for you running away alone," Darcus admitted.

"It wasn’t your fault," Evania assured him.

"It was my fault. If had understood how you felt and backed out, you wouldn’t have had to run away" Orpheus also blamed himself.

"No. As I have said earlier, it was none of your fault. It was my decision. If anyone was to blame, it was my father for being so stubborn," Evania clarified.

But Darcus and Orpheus still felt guilty about it.

"Orpheus, I know you would treat me well. I swear I was grateful for your feelings even back then. But I was in love with Darcus. So, I never considered you as my husband," Evania said, and Orpheus looked like he might fade away and vanish any minute.

[I already knew but hearing it from her lips hurts so much more than I thought.]

"I understand now that it was also not your fault. Your father was the one who agreed with my father about it.

"But unlike you who was informed your marriage was already arranged, I was not informed about it since I was young, so I did not stop myself from falling in love with someone else.

"If I knew, I would have done my best to honor the agreement."

[It’s truly Father’s fault. He made an agreement with someone but did not inform me early on. Things would not have ended up this way if he had warned me, I was already promised.]

Evania is likely to have a fight with her father once she goes back home to Umbra.

"So, regarding my choice, I do not know what to do. You are both so precious and dedicated. I was touched and delighted that you both searched and waited for me.

"If I choose one, the other would get hurt. Making any of you feel hurt and disappointed after waiting all this time pains me. That was why I was wondering if I could not keep you both. Here in the human realm, they are allowed to have several spouses," Evania explained her side.

Darcus and Orpheus glanced at each other and thought about it.

[I see. Her feelings for me were not the same as before. But I’m relieved it still exists even for a bit.

[There were also instances in Umbra where they married several spouses. But can I stomach having to share Evania with Orpheus? Would Orpheus agree?

[I know he would take good care of Evania which was I was able to relent in the past. But I’m not sure if this would be alright. I want her all to myself.

[But I don’t want to burden her with having to choose between us again for several years. I’m not even sure who she would pick if she must.]

Darcus seriously considered it.

"Me too, my lady. If that is what you want, then I will do my best to convince my family. This time, I will not give up no matter what," Darcus promised.

[He agreed?] Orpheus was also surprised that Darcus agreed. [I thought he would refuse since he was Evania’s lover.]

"Eh?!! Really?! Are you both serious?!" Evania blinked repeatedly.

"Yes."

[I simply wanted to explain how I felt. That was just a thought to me since they are both so adorable. I simply cited the marriages here to cite an example. But they both agreed. What should I do?!]

Now that Darcus and Orpheus both agreed, it was Evania who was speechless.

[I cannot marry Alwin since he’s too young for my taste. Everything would have been perfect about him if he was at least my age or older. And my affection for him is quite different. I simply adore him.

[But for Darcus and Orpheus, they are people who had been devoted to me. I cannot ignore them. They are both my type as well. I really cannot choose between them. If I must then I’d rather not.

[I did not expect them to accept such an arrangement, but since they already agreed, should I marry them both?]

Evania had her doubts. She was worried she may be acting like Chester out of spite.

But she was not having an affair. She was to marry the two as her husbands.

"Your Majesty, what should I do?" Evania asked for her help.

"Follow your heart and mind. If you feel that this is what you should do, then do it. It’s better not to have regrets again, don’t you think?" Arabella smiled at Evania.

Everyone was fine with it so there was no need for the three of them to have a chance at happiness even if it was with a compromise.

[Right, I had so many regrets when I lived as Evelyn. I should just do as I please.]

"Alright! Let’s get married, the three of us," Evania extended her hands towards Darcus and Orpheus.

The two smiled and kissed the back of her hand.

[It’s strange that I feel so relieved even though she’s marrying us both.] Darcus thought.

[If I had known this was possible, I should have suggested it in the past.] Orpheus was also satisfied with their arrangement.

"Then, please accept this as a token of our promise to get married."

They both made a ring out of magic and placed it on Evania’s fingers.

"Congratulations on your engagement!" Arabella clapped her hands.

’I must prepare a gift for them before they depart.’
