Arabella revealed everything in one go and Renee was overwhelmed. She was speechless as she tried to process it all.

"All of this is a bit too much. I’m not sure I understood everything, right. Please correct me if I’m wrong, Your Majesty," Renee pled. She needed to verify it again.

Arabella nodded her head.

"I am not human but a Shadow. I am called Evania, and I am the Princess of the Shadows and heir apparent of their King?" Renee began.

"Yes, that’s right."

"I, I see."

[It’s still quite hard to process but Her Majesty is serious.]

"Since you already know about this, may I call you Evania from now on?" Arabella inquired.

"Oh, right. Yes, of course, Your Majesty."

"Evania," Arabella tried saying it and the person she was speaking with blinked twice and tilted her head in wonder.

"It does sound familiar. And it feels somewhat nostalgic," Evania gulped.

"You may not have your memories yet, but you must have a lot of attachments with your real name," Arabella supposed.

Arabella understood the frustration. This was how she felt when she learned everything about Ferdinand and the long-lived races.

Arabella sat beside Evania and embraced her. The latter cried her heart out and Arabella just rubbed her back.

Darcus and Orpheus in the next room were pained as they listened to their beloved sobbing. They wanted to go and comfort her, but their real identities were not yet revealed.

When she finally calmed down a bit, Evania asked, "Your Majesty, do you also know about my lover? How did he die? Was he sad? Was he happy? How many children did he have?"

[I never got married! I would never have children with someone else! And I’m still strong and healthy!] Darcus heard it.

Evania gulped. She slowly opened the scroll and stared at her portrait this time.

"This is me?" she gently caressed it.

Evania was overwhelmed when she saw how beautiful she was in her real body. Evelyn was a rare beauty, but Evania was even more so.

’She would be satisfied now, right? She’s prettier than me,’ Arabella was assured that Evania would no longer be obsessed with her. Hopefully, with Alwin as well.

"Oh my! He’s such a dear."

[I’d love to meet him. If he’s that dedicated, he wouldn’t be like Chester, right?]

’That was close,’ Arabella sighed in relief.

[It seems she would still choose Darcus even now. She had only asked about him.] Orpheus was melancholic.

"But would he still accept me if he knew I had been married once? It may not have been my real body, but I slept with a man countless times. I even almost had children with Chester," Evania recalled that she was no longer pure.
