"How about corn porridge with large grains, oyster sauce with kale, pan-fried eggs, stir-fried walnuts with broccoli, and stir-fried beef with wood ear mushrooms?" Lu Yun casually listed several dishes that her mother had just prepared recently while reaching for them.

"Add a serving of preserved egg and lean pork porridge and scallion mixed with tofu," Shitou suggested, as he was not very fond of corn porridge with grains.

"You should drink corn porridge with grains in the morning and millet porridge at night for good health, so you are not allowed to skip the corn porridge," Lu Yun knew full well that Shitou disliked corn porridge, but eating a bit of coarse grains was beneficial regardless.

"Really the little housekeeper, I’ll eat both then," Shitou chuckled.
