Sister Tao’s face was black with anger, and she didn’t pay any attention to the smiles plastered across their faces. Lu Aiguo and Shitou gaped, their faces cycling through a range of expressions as they looked at each other for a long while, speechless.

Xia Yuan and Lu Yun crept up behind them, trying to hold back their laughter. Xia Yuan nudged Lu Aiguo, "Aren’t you going to shut the door quick? We still need to go back to our room to turn off the lights, or who knows, the landlord might come back to scold you guys again."

In the city, there was no need to farm or go to the mountains, so the next day everybody woke up a bit later than they would have in Yushu Village. By the time Lu Aiguo and Shitou had returned with a cartload of water, Xia Yuan had breakfast ready.

As the four of them ate their breakfast, they didn’t forget to discuss what snacks to make and sell, although they hadn’t reached any conclusion when Gu Tianming arrived.

Having arranged to eat at the Gu Family home that day, Gu Tianming had already had his breakfast early at home before rushing over to take them to his place to familiarize them with it.
