Chapter 1530: Chapter 939: The Passage

Willow God frowned: "Oddity."

Not wasting time on it, she immediately asked, "Sister Ru Yan, do you know where Brother Jiang is?"

"I don’t know. He should have gone out in the past few days; he’s always out and about. Why do you ask, sister? Did you miss him as soon as you emerged from seclusion?"

Liu Ru Yan chuckled, teasingly. Their relationship had long been as close as real sisters.

"Sister Ru Yan, you’re getting bolder day by day, speaking such audacious words." Willow God smiled wryly, for she could never utter such words.

Liu Ru Yan said, "Is that audacious? I could say even more saucy things."

Willow God hastily waved her hand, then fell silent momentarily before speaking:

"Sister Ru Yan, let’s not talk about this for now. You and I were once one; you should sense my current thoughts.

If the Bizarre Clan hadn’t appeared, I wouldn’t have resisted my inner feelings.

But now, personal feelings are merely a bonus for me, not central to my heart.

With dire enemies looming, darkness still ahead, I’ve clarified my heart during seclusion; I can no longer consider personal affairs.

If the great calamity passes, I’ll personally explain, and you, Sister Ru Yan, shouldn’t be jealous then."

Willow God spoke slowly. Indeed, her Dao heart had been stirred by Jiang Hui, creating ripples.

But that was due to circumstances; in peaceful times, a golden age, she wouldn’t mind becoming Dao companions with Brother Jiang.

After all, he was the only man who had stirred her heart.

But for now, let’s deal with the Bizarre Clan first.

In the last battle, despite their heavy losses with their army annihilated, hundreds of Bizarre Kings perished in the grand battle.

The victory was due to preparations led by Brother Jiang millennia ago, with several Quasi-Immortal Emperors bolstering us.

But ultimately, the leading four Bizarre Emperors escaped.

Brother Jiang once said, the number of Emperors among the Bizarre Clan is beyond imagination, and Emperor is not the end.

Although hard to believe,

But it’s foreseeable that an unimaginable storm will sweep over the Immortal Domain soon...

A true blood-stained firmament.

Notice, Brother Jiang didn’t even organize the domain kings for arrangements like before.

Merely because it’s of little use.

"You’re right, sister." Liu Ru Yan nodded, adding, "Master should have gone out, not in the village."

"Where did he go?"

"I don’t know that." Liu Ru Yan shook her head.

Master’s deeds, he wouldn’t discuss in detail, unless I asked, but I don’t enjoy inquiring about such things.

"Alright," failing to get the desired information, Willow God could only relent.

In such vast heavens, even with his Quasi-Immortal Emperor divine sense, it’s impossible to encompass everything.

Not to mention, a True Emperor, the Great Tao would conceal his form, making it unlikely for her to find him.

After pondering, Willow God said again, "Sister, if Brother Jiang returns, make sure to inform me; I have very important matters."

"Rest assured, sister."

...

...

Jiang Hui was not in the village.

Nor in the Immortal Domain,

But had come to The Boundary Sea.

Perhaps due to the Skeleton Immortal Emperor’s revival,

Returning here, the ripples became much denser.

Waves crashed against boundary waters, creating deafening roars.

All around, invisible mists assaulted, shrouding the place...

Jiang Hui stepped atop the dam,

Ripples spread out, wave after wave,

The terrifying waves roared, hitting the dam with thunderous sounds.

Gales capable of slaughtering Immortal Kings attacked, causing Jiang Hui’s robes to flutter, but he remained unmoved.

Such gales, to him, even without the dam’s permissions, were no different from ordinary winds long ago.

He stared ahead, each step leaving footprints on the dam, where Dao flames rose, warning others not to proceed.

Soon.

A majestic great wall appeared before Jiang Hui.

Connecting the sky and earth, immensely grand and imposing, beyond imagination, each stone as mighty as a star, blocking The Boundary Sea outside.

Though the entire continent-like structure was a dam, truly deserving the name were only those words here.

At the dam’s end, ahead lay the Ultimate Ancient Land.

Now thoroughly transformed, no longer the enigmatic, mysterious place of old. The aftermath of the collision with that dark heart swept over the land like a storm, utterly destroying it.

Looking around, nothing but devastation, war ashes burning everywhere. Those splendid palaces, ancient altars, and mysterious runes and array diagrams all in ruins, reduced to ashes and dust. Had this land not been special itself, it would’ve turned to void in that catastrophic battle.

Jiang Hui didn’t linger, continuing deep into the ancient land. His steps firm and strong, each stride seemingly crossing time and space boundaries. The dam ahead suddenly turned, soaring vertically like a dragon ascending, majestic and grand. Stairways descended from the dam, like heavenly steps, reaching the sky.

At the stone stairs’ end, hung a deep, black, mysterious, sacred, chaotic passage. This passage like a Black Hole, infinitely profound, not to be gazed upon. Emitting a strange pressure, invoking reverence. Previously, with Skeleton Immortal Emperor’s body blocking, it wasn’t clear; only faintly visible. Now, with Jiang Hui suppressing the Skeleton Immortal Emperor’s body, it fully exposed before him.

At the entrance, wisps of black mist, like spider webs intertwined. These mists seemed trivial but housed terrifying power. Even touching them would corrupt an Immortal King, stripping self-control. Originally circling the entrance, they now began spreading outward, as if to devour everything.

Jiang Hui’s gaze turned serious, understanding the need to seal this passage soon. Only by thoroughly blocking it can he prevent the Bizarre Clan’s passage and sever most mysterious powers’ invasion. The Skeleton Immortal Emperor had once blocked this place with his body, realizing this point. He prevented the strange beings inside from emerging and stopped the fairy king giants below The Boundary Sea from ignorantly entering, becoming the Bizarre Clan’s minions.

However, sealing this passage is not easy. This channel is formed by the Heavenly Road, like Lower Realm and Upper Realm, inherently one. Sealing it demands great sacrifice. Emperor Huang Tian once sealed the channel, slashing through eons to save the Ten Thousand Clans but blocked their advancement. The Great Tao, Rules gradually waned, Immortal Road broke, the strongest restricted to Supreme Realm, only a few breaking free to take the Immortal Road.

Jiang Hui wanted a more appropriate method.
