Chapter 1478: Chapter 910: Is this a Dragon’s Den and Tiger’s Lair?_2

However, Qi Yu and the others quickly regained their composure.

The Immortal Domain of today is no longer the barren and desolate realm it once was.

Besides the True Emperor, there is also Emperor Huang, as well as Emperor Gu and the Heavenly Emperor under the True Emperor’s command.

All in all, even without the True Emperor appearing, the current Immortal Domain’s foundation includes three Quasi-Immortal Emperors.

These three Quasi-Immortal Emperors are currently guarding the second line of defense.

Moreover, it was not long ago that they learned the Burial Domain, a realm as renowned and mysterious as the Immortal Domain, had been incorporated under the rule of the Holy Land. The Burial Kings hadn’t acted yet, still lurking in the shadows, not to mention that among the True Emperor’s disciples, there exist figures who rival those at the Supreme Giant Level.

Taking everything into account,

as long as the four figures on the ancient ship’s deck remain motionless, the Mysterious Army is not a threat. Even if Immortal King-level Mysterious Creatures outnumber those of the Immortal Domain, the presence of three Quasi-Immortal Emperors in the opposing domain creates a gap that sheer numbers cannot bridge.

Within the black fog, Mo Neng’s brows furrowed.

The reaction of these ants had surpassed his expectations.

He did not believe this world below the Upper Heaven could produce too many Immortal Kings, yet his Mysterious Army had already been fully deployed, but those ants showed no sign of excessive panic.

Even if their domain still had Kings holding the line, there were only a few at most. How could they withstand the tidal wave of his army?

What Qi Yu and the others didn’t realize was that as the formation was torn open, creating a fissure, their hidden positions had all been exposed to Mo Neng.

Not just their location—expressions and everything—had fallen entirely under the perception of the Mysterious Immortal Emperor.

"Still hiding?"

Mo Neng’s voice was like a blade of ice, piercing through the silence of the universe and stirring layers of ripples.

His eyes flashed with deep, mysterious brilliance, like an abyss, where the essence of all things cycled through.

The Mysterious Army had emptied its nest, yet the owner of the massive hand that covered the heavens had still not appeared, leaving him inexplicably agitated.

Mo Neng snorted coldly, releasing an icy aura so extreme that it seemed to corrupt even the stars of the universe, robbing them of their former brilliance and vitality.

In the span of billions of miles, the stars were reduced to dust, frozen solid by the force of this energy, transformed into glittering ice sculptures that soon crumbled, raining down as if hail, though this hail was made from stars.

At that moment, two other Mysterious Quasi-Immortal Emperors behind Mo Neng stirred.

Towering figures shrouded in black mist emerged, seeming like Devil Gods who had walked out of the abyss, each step treading upon ripples in time.

These two Quasi-Immortal Emperors stepped forth from the black ancient ship, and with each step, space twisted around them, as though time itself lost meaning at that instant.

Simultaneously, their forms rapidly expanded upon stepping out of the time river, swelling to gigantic proportions of a thousand meters tall. Encircled by black halos, the unique energy waves of Quasi-Immortal Emperor-level power emanated from them, terrifyingly potent enough to make Immortal Kings tremble.

As the two Mysterious Quasi-Immortal Emperors charged towards the fissure, the entire universe seemed incapable of bearing the onslaught of their energy. The fissure groaned under the strain, cracking like ancient pottery under heavy blows. Faintly visible were cobweb-like fractures creeping across the fissure’s vicinity—the shattering of space and time, the collapse of universal laws.

These two Mysterious Quasi-Immortal Emperors, in a certain sense, already represented the pinnacle of power in heaven and earth, inciting the universe’s trembling.

Back in the day, the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths, along with the Immortal Domain, were plunged into chaos because of the dark upheaval began by three Dark Quasi-Immortal Emperors.

According to the ancient texts, that battle shook the heavens, costing countless unparalleled Heavenly Prides their lives, their blood staining the universe, their heroic souls drifting amidst the cosmos. It was truly an era of decayed heavens and muted worlds, a war of utter devastation.

Although Emperor Huang Tian ultimately triumphed over those Dark Quasi-Immortal Emperors, the journey left him bereft of nearly all familiar faces beside him.

Now, two Mysterious Quasi-Immortal Emperors had once again descended, their target directly aimed at the Immortal Domain. Even if backup truly existed here, it could not stop the two Mysterious Quasi-Immortal Emperors, who could annihilate everything in an instant—apart from the intervention of the mysterious figure behind the Heaven-covering Hand.

Since the figure had not yet appeared, they would force him to reveal himself.

Mo Neng understood this well; if he wanted to protect this universe, he must draw out the owner of that mysterious hand. Thus, he deliberately let the two Mysterious Quasi-Immortal Emperors charge towards the Immortal Domain, using it as bait to provoke the enigmatic entity.

But what puzzled him was that even with the two Quasi-Immortal Emperors moving out, the ants sustaining the formation showed little change in their expressions.

How dare they?

Could it be that the hand’s master was planning to confront them directly on his territory?

Yet if that were the case, why waste such elaborate efforts, pulling even a fragment of the meager strength available elsewhere to form these obstructions?

While Mo Neng was entwined in doubt,

he gazed from the edge of the universe downward.

There lay a vast domain enveloped in the mist of stars, its immense size only slightly smaller than that of the Upper Heaven.

And in that moment,

from within that domain, dozens of radiant beams of divine light suddenly erupted upward.

Dazzling brilliance shone fiercely, celestial glows blanketed the heavens, rushing toward the Mysterious Army.

Mo Neng’s ageless gaze transformed radically, for amidst those beams, he detected the distinct presence of Quasi-Immortal Emperors.

"Boom... Boom..."

"Boom... Boom..."

The heavens quaked, as a blood-colored sword light radiated outward, its dazzling brightness akin to an entire Milky Way overturning.

"Splat..."

Immediately, countless members of the Mysterious Army were evaporated into nothingness.

Shi Hao held the Da Luo Sword Fetus, an ominous weapon enwrapped with tendrils of black mist capable of devouring all light. With a single step, he shattered thousands of star rivers. His sword’s brilliance soared like a dragon, cutting through the skies—each strike accompanied by the projection of countless unknown graves, remnants of slain titanic figures glowing under his sword’s light.

Ominous energy permeated, heads rolled like a torrent.

"Sword, rise!" Shi Hao murmured harshly as the Da Luo Sword Fetus in his hand seemed to gain sentience. Its sword light surged violently, transforming into an immense blood-colored galaxy that cascaded downward.

Where it swept, the Mysterious Army retreated like tides. Countless creatures perished under the sword glow, leaving behind not even the smallest trace of blood, completely absorbed by the sword’s brilliance.

At the same time, the Ten Crown King also moved. He donned the Imperial Crown, draped in a billowing cloak, each step seemingly accompanied by the presence of True Dragons, their roars reverberating across the heavens.

With clenched fists, he summoned the essence of True Dragon Power: his True Dragon Fist. One punch obliterated mountains and rivers, dimmed stars. Embedded within each strike’s force lay the unrelenting might of True Dragons, surpassing all bounds. Each collision contorted time and space, leaving universal laws on the edge of collapse.

"Dragon cries across Nine Heavens, fists shatter stars!" The Ten Crown King roared, True Dragon Fist Intent coalescing into a radiant dragon-shaped halo around him. As he unleashed a strike, this halo detonated, transforming into a swarm of True Dragon phantoms which surged into the Mysterious Army, leaving a trail of devastation in their wake—none survived.

Gu Chen, meanwhile, wielded the Bloodthirsty Divine Spear, an unmatched weapon gifted to him earlier by Jiang Hui. Its spear shaft was entwined with blood-marked patterns, capable of devouring the life essence of all creatures. His movements were swift as the wind, his spear a shadowy dragon; every slash echoed with sharp cries—the anguished screams of the Mysterious Army falling beneath spear’s edge. Gu Chen’s spear techniques were a blend of ferocity and precision, each stab hitting vital points, drawing blood which the spear absorbed, adding to its eerie allure.

"Break the heavens, dye my battle robes with blood!" Gu Chen bellowed, propelling himself forward like a charging tiger, diving into the Mysterious Army headfirst. His spear techniques grew faster, fiercer, enveloping swaths of foes in its shadowed barrage, each precise thrust puncturing life’s essence—a furious testament to his resolve to sweep away all darkness from this universe.

Three Quasi-Immortal Emperors working together made the entire universe tremble. Their might transcended the limits of this cosmos: every clash shattered time, collapsed stars. Against their attacks, the Mysterious Army fell en masse as if harvest beneath a gale, while even the titanic hand that eclipsed the heavens began to crack.

The Mysterious Army was annihilated beneath their onslaught, and cracks began to appear in the giant heaven-shielding hand under the impact of their overwhelming force.
