Chapter 1275 - Chapter 1275 Chapter 802 The Resurrection Plan of Footprint
Chapter 1275: Chapter 802: The Resurrection Plan of Footprint Emperor Chapter 1275: Chapter 802: The Resurrection Plan of Footprint Emperor Kundi’s expression was grim, his thin body shrouded in thick shadows, his eyes flickering uncertainly as he stared intensely at the gathered Immortal Kings,
clearly expecting someone to step up and answer this blatantly foolish question.
However, after looking around for quite a while, not a single King stepped forward; they all acted as if they were blind, either whispering to each other or staring blankly like statues.
Damn it, does he look handsome or what? Why are they all staring straight at him?
He sighed deeply, attempting to alleviate the frustration and suffocation he felt inside, but with every breath, Kundi only felt more despondent.
It seemed that those whispering Immortal Kings also unanimously turned to look at him, obviously expecting him to answer that foolish question.
It was infuriating!
A bunch of useless creatures.
Each one looked bigger and tougher than this old man, as sturdy as city walls, but now they all just stared at him, waiting for this old man to come up with a plan.
They clearly had no idea who Kundi really was; since when did intelligence define his actions in this world?!
It was as if the sun had risen from the west.
He had already presented the core issue, and yet they still expected him to come up with the solution? What a bunch of pigheads!
Thinking thus, Kundi couldn’t help but mentally curse out all the Immortal Kings present.
He was only supposed to raise the issue; when had it fallen on him to also solve the problem?
Yu Tuo, sensing the displeasure in the face of this prominent figure from Alien Territory, unconsciously scratched his head and then quietly sat back down.
Why the malevolent stare? Didn’t he know that they were all a team, all working towards the same goal? Shouldn’t unity be paramount at this time? Displaying such a displeased face could risk them recoiling and refusing to cooperate.
An Lan glanced at his good friend and then back at Kundi, sending Yu Tuo a puzzled look, clearly asking what was wrong with him.
Yu Tuo merely shrugged imperceptibly, clueless about the cause himself as he had only voiced everyone’s doubts.
The subtle gestures between Yu Tuo and An Lan certainly did not escape Kundi’s notice.
It wasn’t until he saw them that this prominent figure from Alien Territory felt an intense rush of frustration, almost shattering his cultivated composure on the spot.
“Since my birth, I have faced countless calamities and risen from Chaos, overcoming numerous obstacles to reach where I am today.
Surely, all of you have experienced the same.
I thought that those gathered here were the elite of our realms, able to stand with me and overcome these tough times. Yet, faced with such a trivial challenge, not a single one of you could step forward with any constructive suggestions!”
Kundi’s voice was deep, unable to suppress his frustration any longer, as he spoke, he glared fiercely at An Lan and Yu Tuo.
He had long heard that the relationship between these two was unlike any other among the Immortal Kings.
Seeing them today, two clueless fools, how could their relationship be anything but good? Both pretentious and lacking in real power.
Inside the palace,
the gathered Immortal Kings exchanged glances, some showing awkward embarrassment, some lost in thought, and others as indifferent as dead pigs being scalded by boiling water, still staring straight at Kundi.
Kundi, with a dark expression, pretended to notice none of it and spoke again, “Let’s set aside this issue for now. The priority is to implement the delaying strategy I proposed. King An Lan, King Yu Tuo, as unmatched figures in our domain, you two will oversee its implementation.”
Upon hearing this, An Lan and Yu Tuo immediately nodded and clasped their fists in agreement.
This task was straightforward–just oversee the developments from a safe distance without needing to be physically present, and they could easily escape if there was any sign of trouble.
Kundi also nodded.
Despite his reservations about the two, An Lan and Yu Tuo were among the pinnacle ranks of longstanding Immortal Kings in his domain; it wasn’t feasible to harbor grudges over such a trivial matter or plot against each other.
Even for realms possessing Origin Ancient Artifacts, the fall of an Immortal King was an irrevocable and immense cost, as not just anyone could ascend to King’s Domain with an Origin Ancient Artifact.
Firstly, one must possess the potential to become a King,
and secondly, endure the Blessing of the Ancient Artifact.
After all, over many eras, although there are naturally more than just these few dozen potential Kings, nine out of ten couldn’t withstand the Blessing of the Ancient Artifact and met with misfortune.
“There’s more…”
Kundi suddenly spoke, stopping the Immortal Kings who were about to disperse.
“What else does the Adult need?” Yu Tuo moved closer.
Kundi slightly furrowed his brows, not really wanting to interact with the other, but it wasn’t time to act rashly, so he asked, “Who’s next for the arena?”
This question initially puzzled the Immortal Kings, but they soon realized what he meant and looked up at the Imprint displayed in the sky.
In the arena,
following a tremendous explosion, a massive figure collapsed heavily into a corner of the arena like a kite with its string cut.
Then, amidst the roar of a dragon and brilliant golden light, that mountain-like body exploded, sending blood and unidentifiable tissue raining down like a storm on the arena.
