After showing off at home, Yue Tingyu made noodles, and everyone had a joyful meal. Then Luo Yanwu drove the two of them to the entrance of the Wei Family’s compound before leaving, remembering to tell them to call him when they wanted to head back home so he could pick them up.

Luo Qianqian calmly took out her phone to call Chang Xi, only to see Ye Liang drive out of the compound with none other than Chang Xi in the passenger seat.

"Hehe, then I would have just gone back home," said Luo Qianqian, calmly pulling Qin Nuan closer: "This is my good friend, Qin Nuan." She then introduced Qin Nuan to the others: "This is Brother Ye Liang and Sister Ye."

Chang Xi’s face turned red from Luo Qianqian’s teasing joke. After greeting Qin Nuan, she glared at Luo Qianqian: "Aren’t you going to get in the car?"

Ye Liang was actually in a good mood: "Looks like our plans have to change."

Chang Xi didn’t object and turned to the two: "You never show up without good reason; what’s up?"

Luo Qianqian stuck out her tongue: "Can’t I just come visit you? You’re hurting my feelings by saying that."

"Don’t say it if you don’t want to, I don’t want to hear it anyway," Chang Xi replied calmly, turning back around to calmly face forward.

Luo Qianqian pouted, conceding defeat: "Alright, alright, in truth... I do have something to say..."

"Haha, I knew it, let’s eat Sichuan for lunch!" Chang Xi laughed looking at Ye Liang, who helplessly glanced at Luo Qianqian through the rearview mirror: "We bet on whether you guys came for fun or because you had something, looks like I’m the one who missed a move, the seafood feast just slipped away."

Luo Qianqian rolled her eyes, how bored are these two usually?

"Alright, what is it?" asked Chang Xi without any annoyance, turning back with a smile, the concern on her face not at all hidden.

"Sister Xi, do you know Xi Meng?" Luo Qianqian asked without hesitation.

What she didn’t expect was to see the shock in Chang Xi’s eyes, but a moment later, she nodded with a wistful smile: "He seems to be from the same school as you; he’s like a younger cousin from a distant relative’s family."

Seeing her expression, Luo Qianqian furrowed her brows: "Is there something wrong with him?"

"What connection do you have with him?" Chang Xi didn’t answer but counter-questioned instead.

Luo Qianqian nodded, "We are in the same department and class."

"Stay away from him. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but there’s something dark about him." Chang Xi shook her head, seeming reluctant to talk about him: "How do you know he’s related to me?"

"He said it himself... that you asked him to look after me." Luo Qianqian pouted: "Otherwise, how would I know? I’m not psychic."

"He said that? I asked him? It was Xi Ming I asked, and Xi Ming should still be away from school..." Chang Xi looked surprised, and then her expression turned ugly: "I never asked him; stay away from him. Ever since he was young, he’s been incredibly goal-oriented; don’t let him..."

"And who is Xi Ming..." Luo Qianqian was completely puzzled; she actually asked someone?

"Did someone do something?" Chang Xi frowned too; she said that if it were a small matter, Luo Qianqian wouldn’t have come to her.

"It’s nothing serious, just small scuffles among classmates. Me, being so well-behaved, who would want to harm me?" Luo Qianqian laughed bluffingly, joking in all seriousness.

The car was very quiet; three pairs of eyes stared at her, with Qin Nuan looking especially worried.

Luo Qianqian cleared her throat before saying, "Sister Xi, when is your Xi Ming coming back? I’m waiting for him to take care of me."

"Tomorrow." Chang Xi looked at her and said slowly, then turned to Ye Liang: "Drive, will you?"

"Where to?" Ye Liang looked completely innocent: "Surely you’re not telling me to just drive around Capital City for a round trip, right?"

"There’s a cafe over there, let’s sit there." Luo Qianqian really didn’t want to continue; riding in a car is tiring, you know?

Chang Xi and Ye Liang had no objections, whereas Qin Nuan nodded in agreement.

Chang Xi didn’t care that Luo Qianqian was unwilling to tell the truth; after all, Xi Ming would be back soon, and finding out would be easy for her.

"Luo Qianqian?" Just after getting out of the car, she heard a familiar voice filled with an indescribable disgust and surprise.

Upon hearing the voice Luo Qianqian’s expression changed slightly, she cursed her bad luck silently, as if merely thinking about the person had made them appear.

Turning around, looking at the person, Luo Qianqian gave a cold smile: "Yo, Miss Xu, what a coincidence?"
