Chapter 77: Chapter 77: Food and Drink Pass Through the Gut [Extra for Alliance Hierarch H who wouldn’t Survive without Going Crazy]_1

Qin Shou finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Ji Dian chuckled, "Rabbit, I haven’t had this box for long, and many of its secrets are unclear to me. Maybe there is indeed a demon god inside... hehe, if you regret it now, I can still exchange it with another treasure for you."

Qin Shou resolutely shook his head, "No exchange!"

The more terrifying Ji Dian’s words, the more Qin Shou knew the box must be a great treasure, definitely not to be exchanged.

After Ji Dian hemmed and hawed for a while, seeing that the rabbit was determined not to exchange, he reluctantly gave up.

Qin Shou directly hung the Black Demon Box on the Dragon-fishing Rope, along with the dark, murky token around his neck.

At that moment, Ji Dian suddenly raised an eyebrow and asked, "Rabbit, where did you get the token around your neck from?"

Qin Shou casually said, "Found it."

"Where did you find it?" Ji Dian asked.

Qin Shou replied, "Picked it up from the ground."

Ji Dian: "..."

Not giving up, Ji Dian pressed, "Rabbit, tell me honestly, where exactly did you pick it up from."

Qin Shou did not answer but instead asked, "Then you tell me first what this thing is."

Ji Dian said, "All I can tell you is, this thing is very ancient... It’s best not to hang it around your neck if you don’t want to attract all sorts of monsters and demons."

Ji Dian wasn’t the first to react to the token, Barefoot Immortal was another.

Back then, Qin Shou felt there was something off about this token. Now, hearing Ji Dian say this, his certainty there was an issue grew even stronger.

However, the token was given to him by Wu Gang, and Qin Shou figured that Wu Gang wouldn’t likely trick him, so he kept it out. But on second thought, Wu Gang didn’t seem to have told him to flaunt it; he’d only instructed him to try it out if he encountered any problems...

With that thought, Qin Shou simply stuffed the token into the little box.

Having sorted everything out, Qin Shou was satisfied. This trip to the Heavenly Court could be described as highly profitable. Yet, Qin Shou couldn’t help but ask curiously, "Ji Dian, why do you keep staring at that guy? No one’s gluttony leads them to court death like you do..."

Ji Dian understood the words, but others wouldn’t.

Ji Dian tilted his head haughtily and retorted, "A monk has no need to explain his actions to you."

Qin Shou looked up at Ji Dian and chuckled, "My mouth seems to be a bit loose..."

Ji Dian immediately said, "Is being greedy for food okay then?"

"Even if you’re greedy, you don’t have to go kill Dog Xiaotian, right?" Qin Shou conveyed in a whisper, "After all, that dog is almost like a person..."

Ji Dian rolled his eyes and sent a mental message back, "Who told you I was going to kill him?"

The two simply continued to communicate telepathically...

"If you’re not going to kill him, how will you eat him?" Qin Shou asked.

Ji Dian replied, "As a respected monk, a high-ranking Arhat from Spirit Mountain, how could I simply kill living beings?"

"Pah! You’re not killing at random? Next time, please speak without a mouthful of chicken bones," Qin Shou said with disdain.

Ji Dian quickly took out the bone and threw it onto the table, asking with concern, "Do you want some?"

"Scram! I’m a rabbit, not a dog!" Qin Shou snapped angrily...

Ji Dian patted the rabbit’s head, trying to soothe him, "Calm down... let’s talk about serious matters. I’m telling you, Rabbit, the monk didn’t eat that chicken for no reason."

Qin Shou chuckled, "Really... Do you have to pay for it after you finish eating?"

Ji Dian didn’t understand what Qin Shou was talking about and shook his head, "A monk like me eats a chicken and has to pay? What kind of logic is that?"

While speaking, Ji Dian put another plate of chicken on the table.

Qin Shou nodded with approval, laughing, "Alright, don’t say anything else...!"

Ji Dian nodded, picked up a piece of chicken, then paused and stared at the Rabbit, who had a smug look on its face. No matter how he looked at it, something seemed off until finally, with a dark expression on his face, he said, "Remove that word from now on!"

"Mmhmm..." Qin Shou nodded.

"Damn it, I’m not eating anymore! You’re too disgusting!" Ji Dian threw the chicken back onto the plate.

And that damn rabbit immediately stuffed the entire plate into its mouth... so fast that Ji Dian was caught off guard! When he finally realized, he cursed, "You damn rabbit, did you do that on purpose?"

Qin Shou spread his hands, "You didn’t eat it, so I helped you out, to avoid wasting it. Let’s talk business, you say you don’t kill, so where did this chicken come from? Oh, I remember now, don’t you have a catchphrase? ’Buddha in heart, wine and meat pass through,’ and yet you say you don’t kill? I’m beginning to doubt, how did you get your credentials, how did you enter Spirit Mountain... It couldn’t have been bought, could it?"

"What nonsense are you spouting... Who bought any credentials." Ji Dian glared at Qin Shou, tilted his head with disdain, and said, "You little rabbit, you only listen to half of what’s said and then flaunt it, aren’t you ashamed?"

Qin Shou didn’t understand what Ji Dian meant.

Ji Dian said, "When I said it, I meant ’wine and meat pass through, Buddha in heart, those who mimic me, are as if entering the Demon Path.’ I never said everyone could do that..."

Qin Shou curled his lips, "Isn’t that typically being a hypocrite? Others can’t do it, but you can?"

Ji Dian raised his hand and slapped Qin Shou’s head fiercely, "There’s a precondition for the monk to do it."

"What’s the precondition? Being hungry?" Qin Shou asked with a sly grin.

Ji Dian glared at him with a dark face, struggling to keep his temper, "One day I will sew your mouth shut!"

"Oh no, my mouth’s come loose again..." Qin Shou said dumbly.

Ji Dian quickly said, "Alright, I’m scared of you, let’s talk business! The precondition for me eating meat is this..."

After finishing his sentence, Ji Dian opened his mouth wide, and with a cluck-cluck, a hen jumped out and landed on the table, hopping back and forth.

Qin Shou was dumbfounded, "You’re doing live chicken magic!"

Ji Dian shook his head, "What the monk eats is dead, and what he spits out is alive! The mouth cycles through reincarnation... Hence, this eating isn’t really eating, it’s delivering salvation!"

"Eat one, spit out two? You’re wholesaling chickens... Ah... I got it, you’re not an Arhat!" Qin Shou slapped his palm and exclaimed.

Ji Dian asked puzzledly, "If not an Arhat, then what?"

Qin Shou looked at Ji Dian with a sly smile, and with a knowing look only men understand, he drawled, "One chicken, two chickens... Heh heh, you wouldn’t happen to be a pimp, would you?"

"I’ll kill you, damn rabbit!" Ji Dian shouted, taking off his slipper and smacking it onto Qin Shou’s face.

Qin Shou took the opportunity to grab it and stuff it into his mouth...

Seeing this, Ji Dian yelled, "Let go!" and pulled at the same time, but when it came out, there was barely any straw left on the sandal...

"You damn rabbit, can’t you be a bit more gentle with your mouth?" Ji Dian looked at the few strands of straw in his hand with distress, huffing angrily.

Qin Shou was undaunted, having frightened him quite sufficiently before. The worst part was that if Qin Shou hadn’t switched sides to help Dog Xiaotian at the critical moment, he probably wouldn’t have been able to enter the main venue. And, most importantly, he might have ended up being blamed... Thinking about Erlang God’s domineering presence, he would probably get dragged out even if hiding on the moon and end up being roasted and eaten.

On further thought, his stomach was full of anger... if not to vex Ji Dian, then whom?

PS: This Chapter added for Alliance Hierarch H’s not crazy, not alive.
