Rabbit Must Die
Chapter 65 Quit_1

Chapter 65: Chapter 65 Quit_1

Dog Xiaotian burst into laughter when he saw who had arrived and exclaimed, "Right, let’s all hug it out, fair is fair, haha..."

However, his laughter lasted no more than three seconds before a large hand reached out, wrapped around Dog Xiaotian’s neck, and chuckled, "Exactly, let’s all have a hug. They like Rabbit, I like dogs, long time no see, Dog Xiaotian, give me a hug..."

Dog Xiaotian felt a strange smell assault his nose and immediately had a bad feeling. Without even looking back, he knew who it was and yelled, "Get lost!"

But in the next moment, he was pulled right into the embrace, his dog head plunging straight into that foul stench!

"Let go!" Dog Xiaotian shouted desperately.

Regardless, the grip of the other was no small matter, as they firmly pressed Dog Xiaotian against their chest.

Qin Shou heard Dog Xiaotian’s schadenfreude-filled screams and his pitiful howls and wondered who could be so fierce as to disgust the damn dog this much!

Looking up, the person grabbing Dog Xiaotian was a sloppy fellow with a full beard and a face pocked with large moles! The disheveled look of the fellow was not the main issue, though, it was that he reeked of a foul stench as if he had soaked in a stinking ditch for a hundred thousand years...

Dog Xiaotian’s head was pressed against the other’s chest, his mouth gaping open, tongue hanging out, eyes bulging as if they might roll back any second... His face was the spitting image of panic. In that instant, Qin Shou thought of a QQ emoji, a big yellow dog exclaiming: Hurry up and leave, this group is full of gays!

Dog Xiaotian was on the verge of tears; it was as if he was pressed into a mud pit, so nauseating that he wanted to vomit. He attempted to struggle, but the other’s strength was immense. He tried to bite, but the stench was so unbearable that he couldn’t bear to open his mouth...

Fortunately, the other only intended a warm hug and let him go after embracing him.

Dog Xiaotian quickly ran off to the side, retching, while yelling, "Limp Li, can you keep your unwashed self away from me? Further away? Even further?!"

The newcomer was none other than the leader of the Eight Immortals, Limp Li, who laughed heartily, "You dumb dog, before you became an Immortal, you ate plenty of excrement; becoming an Immortal has made you all posh. Besides, I’m a begging monk, what need do I have for baths?"

Upon hearing this, Dog Xiaotian instantly became enraged: "Speak for yourself! I’ve quit that habit long ago!"

"Quit?!" everyone almost shouted in unison, even Limp Li was taken aback, as it was clear his earlier comment was just nonsensical rambling.

Qin Shou also took the opportunity to leap from Han Zhongli’s arms and looked at Dog Xiaotian incredulously, "Black Dog, ’quitting’ implies you did it before... damn! That’s awesome!"

Only then did Dog Xiaotian realize what he’d said and shouted, "Stop talking nonsense! I’ve never eaten that!"

Everyone glanced around, and in the end, Qin Shou sighed and said, "Black Dog, calm down, I’m someone who keeps a tight lip; I speak when I should and never spill what I shouldn’t!"

Dog Xiaotian glanced at Rabbit gratefully, "At least you’re reliable."

Qin Shou nodded and said, "Of course, but my lips are only sealed after I’ve received something."

Dog Xiaotian reacted, "What?"

Qin Shou stretched out his paw again in a familiar rubbing fingers gesture, and Dog Xiaotian angrily retorted, "You’re extorting me again? Twice in one day! Are you even human?"

Qin Shou flicked his long ears and replied, "Asking whether a rabbit is human, Black Dog, when did you go blind?"

Dog Xiaotian was so agitated that he almost passed out, pointing at Qin Shou he exclaimed, "Damn Rabbit, you’re supposed to be a Demonic Immortal, can’t you have some shame, learn from the other immortal seniors? Look at the Eight Immortals!"

As Dog Xiaotian spoke, he looked up to Limp Li, Han Zhongli, He Xiangu, only to discover miserably that Zhang Guolao, Lan Caihe, and the others had also arrived. What was worse... they collectively stretched out their hands and made the same finger rubbing motion at him.

Limp Li snickered, "We are quite tight-lipped as well..."

Lan Caihe clapped and sang, "Dog Xiaotian loves to eat feces, all the Eight Immortals up in the cave know, you ask if I know as well, with the magic treasure in hand, I do not!"

Dog Xiaotian was so angry that he barked loudly, "Damn! Why don’t you learn the good instead of the bad! Who told you to learn from this damn rabbit?"

Lv Dongbin stroked his beard and said indifferently, "Dog Xiaotian, I’m not familiar with others, but I know Lan Caihe’s mouth has no filter. If nothing stops him, he could sing about your deeds in front of everyone today. Then..."

"Fine, you win!" Dog Xiaotian, so frustrated that his eyes rolled back, put his head directly on the table and said, "No magic treasure, only my dog head, whoever wants it can take it."

The crowd looked at this mangy dog and couldn’t help but laugh.

However, Qin Shou edged closer and said, "If nobody else wants it, I do. Wasn’t there someone who wanted to eat dog meat? It would definitely be worth a lot if I sold it to him."

Upon hearing this, Dog Xiaotian sprang up and cursed, "You damn rabbit, can’t you show some... cough cough, rabbit decency!"

Qin Shou retorted, "What kind of decency does a rabbit have?"

Dog Xiaotian replied, "Rabbits don’t eat the grass by their own burrows! I was the one who brought you here; are you really going to betray me like this?"

Qin Shou thought for a moment and said, "You have a point. Forget the magic treasure, then. Teach me a Cultivation Technique. You know I can’t do anything."

Dog Xiaotian, seeing Qin Shou haggling, was so angry that smoke almost came out of his nose, but he relented and said, "I’ll teach you a Technique of Transformation. Go play with it when you get back."

After he spoke, Dog Xiaotian passed a set of incantations to Qin Shou with his Divine Sense. When Qin Shou looked, it was indeed the Technique of Transformation, but this technique only allowed him to transform into a dog...

Qin Shou looked at Dog Xiaotian’s smirking face, realizing the dog was getting even, but Qin Shou didn’t mind; he was content with what he got without being greedy.

The Eight Immortals watched the dog and rabbit’s antics and found it amusing, smiling as they watched.

Just then, the bell sounded, and everyone who was smiling a moment ago suddenly turned solemn, rising to their feet and looking up at the sky!

Even the Overlords seated on the Cloud Altar stood up.

Qin Shou knew that the visitor this time must be extraordinary, so he climbed onto Dog Xiaotian’s head to get a better look.

Dog Xiaotian was already too lazy to pay attention to the damn rabbit and let him make a fuss.

As soon as He Xiangu saw this, she grabbed the rabbit and pulled it into her arms, saying, "I have a better view from here."

What could Qin Shou say? He could only grin and nod, thinking: Of course, the higher you stand, the farther you see, standing atop two mountains, how could the view not be better?

Seeing this, Dog Xiaotian felt a mix of envy and resentment. But then he caught Limp Li’s gleeful gaze and shuddered, deciding to focus peacefully on the sky instead.

In the sky, there was no portal opening. Instead, from the end of the stars came a dragon’s roar and a phoenix’s cry, shaking the heavens and startling the world, causing the earth to tremble!

Gradually, celestial music began to play, and flowers began to rain down from the sky...

Qin Shou subconsciously caught a petal and was surprised to find that the petal was not real, but transformed from Yuan Qi. It landed in his palm and instantly merged into his body, turning into gentle streams of Yuan Qi that nourished him entirely!
