Chapter 292: Chapter 289 Seahorse [Please Subscribe]_1

Ao Bing was completely bewildered... His lips turned purple, his complexion turned pale, and then he spun around and dove into the sea, heading straight for the East Sea Dragon Palace, muttering as he fled, "Too frightening... too terrifying!"

Seeing this scene, Ao Ying was also helpless, as things had happened too quickly and were too bizarre. She didn’t have any opportunity to do anything.

Now that things had come to this, she didn’t know what to do.

Just then, the Rabbit suddenly snapped back to reality and shouted, "Everybody stop! I called for that, give it all back! You, the crab, give me back that dragon meat in your claws! You, the octopus, pick up the dragon meat stuck to you and bring it back! And you, the shark, if you’re not knocked out, bring back my dragon meat! One piece missing, and I’ll stew you all!"

"Exactly, exactly! What are you standing around for? Hurry up and bring the dragon meat back to me, I want to stew it all up, hahaha..." the Eight Trigrams Furnace followed, barking commands in borrowed authority.

Normally, the Sea Clan army would have laughed at these words and swarmed in to teach their adversary a lesson.

But after what had just happened, the usually braggart East Sea Sea Clan obediently brought back the dragon meat...

Seeing this, Ao Ying immediately commanded loudly, "What are you all waiting for? Haven’t you found the dragon meat for the Heavenly God? Missing a piece, and it’s your heads that will roll!"

Upon hearing this, the Sea Clan army scattered in fright, diving into the water to search for the scattered pieces of dragon meat.

Before long, pieces of dragon meat were found and thrown into the Eight Trigrams Furnace.

Qin Shou smiled contentedly, "I’ve never eaten dragon meat in my life, and though it’s only Flood Dragon, it’s still not bad..."

The Eight Trigrams Furnace chuckled, "I’ve never stewed it either. How long do you think we should stew it this time? Should we add any special seasonings?"

Qin Shou replied, "Don’t rush, let’s go ask my master later. Good ingredients need the right spices to make something delicious. Ah, I love these dumb dragons with no spiritual intelligence, hahaha..."

The Eight Trigrams Furnace echoed, "I like them too."

"Daynight Wandering God, the dragon meat has been collected. Do you think we can leave now?" At that moment, a female voice rang out.

Qin Shou looked up to see a woman in full silver-white armor, striking with heroic beauty, resting one hand on the hilt of her sword as she gazed at him.

If she were on Earth, this woman would surely be a devastating beauty, the absolute goddess in the hearts of countless homebodies.

However, Qin Shou, who was used to seeing Chang’e, was simply amazed by Ao Ying without feeling much else. Crossing his arms, he said, "Hey! If you hadn’t mentioned it, I would have nearly forgotten about this! Go call out that whiny little dragon who was yelling about wanting to fight me. I have words for him."

Ao Ying gave a bitter smile and said, "That’s not a whiny little dragon, he is the Third Prince of the East Sea Dragon Palace, Ao Bing, and he is also the Hua Gai Star of the Heavenly Court. Like you, he is listed among the ranks of the Heavenly Gods..."

Qin Shou, uninterested in listening, waved his hand dismissively, "I don’t want to hear about that. That guy was pretty arrogant just now! He even called a bunch of seafood to intimidate me! What’s the matter? He chickened out when I woke up? Call him out quickly! Forget it, the East Sea Dragon Palace, is it? I’ll go find him myself!"

Having said that, Qin Shou dove headfirst into the sea, casually grabbed a Seahorse Spirit, and plopped down on its back, patting its head as he commanded, "Destination, East Sea Dragon Palace, giddyup!"

"Rabbit Lord, I am a seahorse, not a horse..." the Seahorse Spirit spoke up, sounding aggrieved.

Qin Shou rolled his eyes and said, "A seahorse is a horse, stop quibbling, giddyup!"

"I’m really not a horse, I am a seahorse," the Seahorse Spirit tried to argue again.

"I don’t care if you’re a seahorse, a heavenly horse, a stallion, anything with a horse in its name has to be ridden by me! Get moving and stop arguing."

The Seahorse Spirit, seeing that the Rabbit wasn’t too fierce, mustered enough courage to speak, "Rabbit Lord, I may not be a horse... but I’ve always had the heart of one. Otherwise, why would I be called a seahorse? Rest assured, I can go fast when you ride! The destination is the East Sea Dragon Palace, right? Let’s go!"

As they spoke, the Seahorse Spirit had already sped away at full force...

Seeing this, Qin Shou shook his head; indeed, the real power in this world lay in the pot!

Qin Shou left, and the sea surface exploded into a frenzy as the various Demon Lords snapped back to reality. Some looked at me, others at you, before they all erupted into a cacophony of conversation.

"Little monster, bring the wine!"

"Damn, that was awesome!"

"Huge news! That rabbit rocks!"

"Let’s not mess with him in the future, and hey, he’s pretty close to Huaguo Mountain!"

"Those monkeys were already a handful before, and now they’re even more formidable..."

...

Up on Huaguo Mountain, the four big monkeys were also dumbfounded. They had thought the rabbit was done for, but the outcome was the complete opposite of what they had expected...

"Big brother, what exactly was that skeleton?"

Monkey Baimei shook his head, but his expression was extremely grave as he said, "I’m tired, I’m leaving first."

Finishing his words, Monkey Baimei leaped back into the mountain and quickly entered the cave. Deep inside, he dug out a chest, which was wrapped in some unknown wild beast’s hide that shone with a dazzling light. If polished carefully, it seemed to hum with the sound of dragons... Anyone knowledgeable would recognize it as the skin of a True Dragon!

Monkey Baimei didn’t pay attention to the True Dragon skin, tore open the hide to reveal its contents, and to his shock, there was a bronze chest!

The bronze chest was covered with spots of rust, clearly ancient, but when Monkey Baimei wiped it twice, the rust fell off, and the bronze healed itself, looking brand new.

With reverence, Monkey Baimei bowed and said, "I don’t know how many years it’s been... I’m taking you out today to confirm something, may our ancestors not blame me."

After speaking, Monkey Baimei opened the chest to reveal a thick ancient tome, each page made from dragon skin, inscribed with many characters! Just like Qin Shou’s "Overview of Artifact Refinement", each page looked small but contained a wealth of information.

Monkey Baimei quickly flipped through the book until he found a specific page and stopped. It depicted a mountain with a divine rock falling upon it!

In the background, there were figures battling, and above the nine heavens, a bony hand came together, crushing a Heavenly God into dust!

In the distant shadows, one could vaguely see a red sun rising, with silhouettes inside it, or perhaps it was so blurry due to the passage of time...

Monkey Baimei closed the book, sighed deeply, and said, "It shouldn’t... but whatever, the Stone Monkey has been born, and our lineage has done right by Lady Nvwa. She told us that from then on, we would be free. What does the world’s future have to do with us now? Just tease the little monkeys, eat some peaches, forget it..."

Monkey Baimei shook his head, placed the book back into the chest, rolled up the dragon skin, and buried it again in the ground.

Meanwhile, Qin Shou, having entered the sea, appeared calm but was secretly sweating bullets because when the dragon was slain and its blood scattered across the sky, it almost fell on him! He didn’t know if it was luck or something else, but he didn’t get a single drop on him!

"That was close, so close. If I had gotten any on me, I, the Rabbit, could have fainted, and then who knows which chopping board I would have ended up on," Qin Shou muttered to himself.

But what he didn’t know was that it wasn’t his luck that had saved him; the blood was destined not to fall on him from the moment the skeleton took action.

While Qin Shou was lost in thought, chaos erupted in the East Sea Dragon Palace.

"What? That rabbit even slew the Black Flood Dragon?" the Dragon King of the East Sea, Ao Guang, exclaimed in surprise before shaking his head and saying, "That Black Flood Dragon was just a Ninth Rank Human Immortal, dead is dead. I, being an Earthly Immortal, could easily slay him with a flip of my hand."

Upon hearing this, Ao Bing said, "Father, since that’s the case, when the rabbit arrives shortly, you’ll need to take action."

Ao Guang chuckled, "Don’t worry, my son. This place is the East Sea Dragon Palace, established by the Jade Emperor and built by the Craftsman God, Qin Shou. Here, no matter the deity, they must show respect! With your father here, how would he dare to be disrespectful?"

Ao Ying said, "Father, that rabbit is lawless, and he has a magical skeleton protecting him. With just a few swings from a distance, the skeleton chopped the Black Flood Dragon into thousands of pieces. Such strength is perhaps at least of Earthly Immortal level."

Upon hearing this, Ao Guang’s brows instantly furrowed; Ao Bing, who had returned earlier, had failed to mention how easily the Black Flood Dragon was killed!

Ao Ying continued, "The Black Flood Dragon’s Blood Swallow Blade was shattered between the skeleton’s two fingers with ease. Father, our East Sea Dragon Palace has always lived in harmony with the Four Seas; there’s really no need to confront this rabbit head-on. We are all Heavenly Gods. Even if there’s a misunderstanding, an apology would suffice. If we apologize, would he still attack us? If he did, then he would be the one in the wrong. We could take the case to Lingxiao Hall, and he would surely suffer the consequences."

After hearing this, Ao Guang began to be swayed...

Ao Bing instantly objected, shouting, "Second sister, whose side are you on? Why are you speaking in favor of that rabbit? Trying to boost his ego? Father is the Dragon King of the East Sea, with profound mana. Should he be afraid of a rabbit? Apologize to him? Psh! That mountain rabbit, worthy of an apology? Nonsense!"

Ao Guang interjected, "My son, calm down for now."

Ao Bing called out, "Father, no matter what, I was bullied today; you have to stand up for me! When Nezha killed me years ago, you forced Nezha to pay with his own flesh and bones for what he did to me. Today, this rabbit has gone too far. I’m not asking you to flay and debone him, but at the very least, he should bow his head and admit his wrongdoing, right?"

Ao Guang felt conflicted; his rational mind told him that what Ao Ying said was correct.
