Rabbit Must Die
Chapter 271 - 268: Move Aside, Son_1

Chapter 271: Chapter 268: Move Aside, Son_1

"Stone Monkey, you’ve just been born, without any mastery of magic, relying solely on brute strength won’t be enough to defeat them," Batong said with concern.

Although Stone Monkey was proud, in response to this monkey who risked his life to stand by him, for the first time, he showed a smile as bright as the sun, saying, "Big sister, how serious can things under heaven and earth be? It’s nothing more than death! Win or lose, Huaguo Mountain remains, and that’s a victory in itself."

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone understood that Stone Monkey hadn’t considered the possibility of winning at all. He was simply going to his death, using his own demise to end the struggle and bring peace back to Huaguo Mountain!

Many monkeys had tears in their eyes...

Batong, even more irate, raised his hand, wanting to give Stone Monkey a slap!

Yet, confronted with Stone Monkey’s radiant smile, he just couldn’t bring himself to do it!

Monkey Changmei sighed and said, "Stone Monkey, you are our pride of Huaguo Mountain, today you can’t fight alone."

Having said that, Monkey Changmei turned to Ao Sui and said, "Little Dragon King, you have dispatched three men, while we only have Stone Monkey, that’s hardly fair."

Ao Sui laughed heartily and said, "Unfair? I merely sent three subordinates, and did not personally enter the fray. Of course, besides the four of you, other monkeys can help him too! I’m not stopping them. Three against three, how about that?"

Ao Sui had a clear sight, recognizing that among Huaguo Mountain’s fighters, there were only these four peculiar divine monkeys; the rest were not a cause for concern!

Moreover, he indeed harbored resentment. It was one thing for the little Dragon King to be humiliated in Heaven, but to fail in capturing a mere mountain in the Earthly Immortal Realm, on his own turf, was intolerable and dissatisfying! Therefore, he decided to kill as many monkeys as possible. The three subordinates were all sent out - otherwise, one would have been enough just to kill Stone Monkey.

Hearing this, Changmei, Changbi, Cangsang, and Batong all furrowed their brows at once, how could they not see through Ao Sui’s scheme?

But Ao Sui’s reasoning was not entirely unfounded.

If he had taken action himself, with the strength of a Human Immortal, how could Stone Monkey have resisted? He would have been certain to die!

But his three subordinates were not Demonic Immortals, just three demons with considerable power. If there were those in Huaguo Mountain who could withstand those three guys, Stone Monkey might still have a chance to survive.

Besides, if Ao Sui had taken action, the four of them would certainly have fought back. Ao Sui wouldn’t be able to beat them, and it was very likely he would become enraged, spiraling the situation out of control again.

However, who else could they call upon to fight? Indeed, Huaguo Mountain had no one else available!

Seeing this, Ao Sui smirked maliciously and gave a subordinate a knowing glance!

The subordinate immediately understood, leaping ashore, he clapped his hands over his chest and said, "Monkey, I won’t bully you, I’ll just use these fists of iron! If you can withstand that, you can count it as my loss!"

After speaking, Crab No.2 gestured to Stone Monkey and said, "Monkey! Bring it on!"

Upon seeing this, Stone Monkey clenched his teeth, ready to make a move, when he suddenly heard someone shout from behind, "Kiddo, step aside! Daddy will grant his wish!"

Stone Monkey instinctively stepped aside, only to remember afterward, why should he listen to that damn rabbit?

Just then, a rumbling of hooves sounded, and a flash of white light whizzed past him!

It kicked up a thick cloud of dust!

Following which the robust man let out a roar, then all went silent...

As the dust settled, there lay the man on the ground covered in hoof prints, his mouth twisted, eyes rolled back, drooling foam, no one knew whether he was dead or merely unconscious...

"Who? Who ambushed my second brother? Show yourself if you dare!" Crab No.3 shouted furiously as he jumped down and bellowed.

Yet there was no movement in the surroundings.

Ao Sui too was startled, but he was certain that none of the four great monkeys before him had made a move; someone else was responsible! Yet, he hadn’t seen who did it... that sordid voice, though, why did it sound so familiar? He just couldn’t recall who it was at the moment.

Ao Sui wanted to say something, but the rules were his making, and it would be too humiliating to take them back now. He couldn’t afford to lose that much face.

So, he had no choice but to begrudgingly accept the assistance Stone Monkey had received from another.

Others might not understand what happened, but the monkeys of Huaguo Mountain knew all too well.

The one who called Stone Monkey "son" with such a muddled articulation and sly tone, it had to be that rabbit!

But where was the rabbit now? Where had he run off to?

Crab No.3 looked around and cried out, "Whoever you are, come out!"

Stone Monkey said unwillingly, "Why are you shouting? Your opponent is me!"

"You? Pfft! Show me what you’ve got, come at me!" Crab No.3 had barely spoken when a voice came from behind Stone Monkey, "Kiddo, step aside! Daddy will grant his wish!"

This time, Stone Monkey snapped back to reality, sneering within, "I’m not your son, I won’t move!"

Crab No.3 too realized what was happening and quickly jumped to the side, laughing, "You think such clumsy cooperation can hurt me? The same trick twice? Really..."

The next moment, the rumbling of hooves sounded, and a beam of white light shot straight toward him! Crab No.3 even saw the expression on the battle horse in front of him, as if it were looking at an idiot!

Ah!

Crab No.3 hadn’t finished speaking when a scream took his place.

Then, before the scream had ended, the white light turned around and came back!

Ah, ah!

Two more screams followed.

As the dust cleared, Crab No.3 was also covered in hoof prints, stamped into the ground in a human-shaped imprint, eyes rolled back, not knowing whether he was alive or dead.

Seeing this, Stone Monkey was stunned, thinking, "That worked?"

Everyone else was equally bewildered; they saw clearly that the white light had initially been running off course, but the self-styled clever Crab No.3 had leaped just in time to land in the path of the light and was promptly run over... what a tragedy.

At the same time, the sneaky voice of the rabbit rang in Stone Monkey’s ear, "Kiddo, still won’t admit you’re my son? We’re so in sync when tricking others, you are definitely my own flesh and blood!"

Stone Monkey: "..."

"Second Brother, Third Brother!" Crab No.4 roared angrily and immediately jumped down.

Ao Sui snapped back to reality at this sight and realized in the blink of an eye that he was left with just this one sole survivor! If they were to die too, that would truly mean defeat!

So Ao Sui quickly shouted, "Don’t be impulsive, don’t overestimate yourself, use magic!"

Upon hearing this, Crab No.4 nodded slightly and then stomped on the ground, causing the surrounding seawater to rise and form a protective barrier, ensuring that the white light wouldn’t hit them.

Crab No.1 yelled, "Stone Monkey, use whatever tricks you have up your sleeve!"

This time he learned his lesson and didn’t dare say "bring on the horse" again... After all, the two brothers who said that were trampled by the horse immediately after, their fates unknown.

Stone Monkey looked utterly bewildered. Tricks? What tricks did he have?

He had just been born, and besides running and jumping, he knew nothing!

And the previous incident had nothing to do with him!

Stone Monkey muttered, "Rabbit... Rabbit..."

"Call Daddy, call me Daddy and I’ll clean them up for you!" Rabbit’s voice came telepathically.

Stone Monkey was speechless for a moment and snorted coldly, "Even if I die, I won’t call you Daddy!"

"Call what?" Rabbit asked.

Stone Monkey replied, "I won’t call you Daddy!"

Rabbit continued to ask, "Call what? I didn’t hear you clearly."

"Call you Daddy!" Stone Monkey said.

Rabbit asked, "Call what?"

Stone Monkey shouted angrily, "Daddy!"

"Good son!" Rabbit burst into laughter upon hearing this and answered cheerfully.

Stone Monkey was so furious that veins popped out on his forehead, and just as he was about to explode, the sound of hoofbeats rose, followed by the white light again!

Seeing this, Crab No.4 snorted coldly and said, "This trick again? Useless!"

While speaking, Crab No.4 was already leaping into the air, laughing loudly, "How can you trample me from the ground when I’m up in the sky!"

But as soon as the laughter started, he saw the white light suddenly soar into the sky, closing the distance in the blink of an eye! The surrounding water walls attempted to block it, but the white light was so ferocious that it shattered the water walls with a loud bang!

Then Crab No.4 saw a horseshoe rapidly enlarging before his eyes!

"No!"

Wham!

Crab No.4 felt a sharp pain in his forehead, and with a retching sound, he was stomped down from the air!

Then the white light turned around, came back, and there was a barrage of stomping sounds accompanied by screams, sending shivers down everyone’s spine.

What was even more terrifying was the white light circling back around, then stopping directly on Crab No.4’s body!

Then, from within the white light, a voice shouted, "Marching on the spot—move!"

Thump thump thump!

Stamp stamp stamp stamp!

...

As the white light lost its speed, everyone finally got a clear look at it; it was a chariot pulled by two celestial horses!

Looking at the sturdy builds of the two celestial horses, with hooves as large as washbasins!

Everyone first mourned for the Crab Generals for a second, then, imagining the sensation of those giant hooves trampling on their own bodies, they looked sympathetically at the three Crab Generals on the ground, their conditions unknown.

At the same time, everyone finally understood how the earlier ’airport accident’ happened!

Up in the sky, Ao Sui’s face turned green; his three subordinates had actually been trampled to death by a chariot!

What was a chariot? A means of transportation! Not a magic treasure meant for attack!

That thing could also kill people? Really, were they fools?!

This was nothing short of a great humiliation!

Ao Sui almost gnashed his teeth and shouted, "Who is it? Who dares kill my generals? Show yourself! I won’t let you off!"

"Alas, you say that as if I’ve never killed before. Last time I killed someone, I didn’t see you do much!" a familiar voice came from inside the chariot.

"You... who are you?" Ao Sui suddenly had a bad feeling, but he still stiffened his backbone and demanded, "Come out!"

"Are you sure?" the voice asked.

Ao Sui took a deep breath, looked back at his millions-strong army, and with renewed confidence, thumped his chest and declared, "If you’re not afraid of death, come out!"

"As you wish!" The next moment, a white figure darted out of the chariot, fluffy all over, plump, especially that face. Ao Sui took one look and his face turned even greener, exclaiming, "Damn Rabbit!"

Rabbit looked up at him, bared his teeth in a wry grin, raised his eyebrows slyly, and taunted, "Little loach, we meet again! You were quite arrogant just now! Now that I’m out, what are you going to do about it?"

After speaking, Qin Shou glanced at Monkey Changmei and said, "Lend me a shoe."

PS: Spouting off like that, isn’t that a bit underhanded? Shouldn’t an important character be built up first, instead of being introduced like a character carved from the same mold as a cardboard cutout?
