Qin Shou puckered his lips, "Why do you ask? I’m taking my own Three Immortals Road, not passing through your Southern Gate."

Mo Liqing laughed heartily, "Rabbit, are you really clueless or just pretending?"

Qin Shou was puzzled, "What do you mean?"

Mo Liqing explained, "Do you think the four heavenly gates of the Heavenly Court in the east, south, west, and north are just different types of entrances?"

Qin Shou replied instinctively, "Aren’t they just the main entrance, side entrance, and back entrance?"

Hearing this, Mo Liqing’s expression grew stiff, followed by a speechless shake of his head, "You really are... Let me explain. Do you know how large the Heavenly Court is?"

Qin Shou shook his head, "I don’t know."

Mo Liqing continued, "The universe is vast, composed of the Immortal Realm you know and the Three Realms below. What people often refer to as the Three Realms does not merely consist of three worlds, but rather it is a gigantic world made up of twenty-eight heavens from within the thirty-six heavens!"

Qin Shou was startled by this revelation, "Isn’t it said that the Immortal Realm has thirty-three levels? How come the Earthly Immortal Realm is included?"

Mo Liqing smiled, "Everything under the sky is the Emperor’s land. Wherever the light of the Heavenly Court shines, it naturally has to be counted together, and how could the Earthly Immortal Realm be an exception? The term ’Earthly Immortal Realm’ originated in the past; it was the land of the Three Realms, where the twenty-eight heavens intersect. The twenty-eight heavens are further divided into six heavens of the Desire Realm, eighteen heavens of the Form Realm, and four heavens of the Formless Realm. These are beyond the reach of the Three Realms, within the cycle of Five Elements, suffering the tribulations of reincarnation and the barriers of the mortal world. Even those real beings in the Formless Realm, as long as they have not become immortals, cannot escape these Three Realms."

Mo Liqing continued, "Once one becomes an immortal, one can enter the four Brahma Heavens, which include the Supreme Constant Integration Heaven, Jade Dragon Ascending Victory Heaven, Dragon Transformation Brahma Conversion Heaven, and Taiji Obscure Jia Yi Heaven. These Four Heavens are what people commonly refer to as the Immortal Realm."

If you were to run across the entire world, it’d take you many years, so those who enter through our Southern Gate have two paths; if they are heading to the heavenly palace, they can directly enter. Otherwise, they are sent over by a teleportation array."

To get to the East Shengshen Continent, naturally, you’d use the Eastern Gate, which leads to the East Sea and the East Shengshen Continent. Forget it, I’ll just explain it all in one go. The Western Gate leads to the West Niuhe Continent, and the Northern Gate leads to the North Julu Continent. So, whatever continent you wish to visit, you take the corresponding heavenly gate.
