Rabbit Must Die -
Chapter 212 - 210: Paoding, Shanhe_1
Chapter 212: Chapter 210: Paoding, Shanhe_1
Zhou Buhuo and Dog Xiaotian, watching this scene, almost dropped their jaws to the ground. Is this even possible?
Even with the Rabbit behaving like that, the Kitchen God didn’t pursue the matter?
And was still chatting with him about food?
"Damn! The world is truly wonderful. Did I enter the wrong shop, or has the Kitchen God been switched?" Dog Xiaotian cursed incessantly in his mind.
By the time the chat was over, all the dishes were devoured.
Zhou Buhuo approached and said, "Master, that Triangular Boidae was sent by a guest for tonight. Now..."
As soon as Dog Xiaotian heard this, he hurriedly rushed over to join in, "Kitchen God, this guy ate a whole Triangular Boidae without your permission. Aren’t you mad? Even I, an outsider, can’t stand to watch this! If I were you, I would definitely teach him a lesson! His head should be so beaten that it bubbles with pain!"
Once Qin Shou heard this, his face darkened. This damn dog was actually instigating the Kitchen God to beat him up!
Indeed, this damn dog was no good dog!
And with this damn dog suddenly acting crazy, could it be that he was beaten by someone?
Qin Shou narrowed his eyes and asked, "Have you been beaten?"
As soon as Dog Xiaotian heard this, he laughed loudly, "How could that happen? How could someone as obedient and well-behaved as me be beaten!"
As soon as these words came out, Zhou Buhuo immediately stepped back several steps.
Dog Xiaotian suddenly had a bad feeling...
Rip!
The familiar sound of clothes tearing apart rang out.
Dog Xiaotian didn’t look back and took off running!
But as before, his tail was caught in an instant, and with a howl, he was thrown into the air!
Bang!
Dog Xiaotian was smashed to the ground!
"That’ll teach you to lie, that’ll teach you to lie..."
Bang, bang, bang...
The rampaging Kitchen God scolded as he hit...
Stunned, Qin Shou opened his mouth wide, and in disbelief, asked Zhou Buhuo, "Has your master always been this fierce? With transformations too... like a Super Saiyan?"
Zhou Buhuo replied with a wry smile, "My master hates being lied to the most. If you had lied just now, you probably would have been beaten like this as well. Also, my master hates laziness... You not only shirked work just now, you also stole food. You’ve fulfilled all the conditions for a beating. I just don’t understand why Master didn’t beat you..."
Qin Shou stroked his chin, to tell the truth, he didn’t know why either, probably just took a liking to him.
Meanwhile, the Kitchen God went berserk, beating for half an hour before stopping...
Dog Xiaotian was once again punched deep into the ground.
When the Kitchen God shrank, turning back into a frail young man, he exclaimed in surprise, "Dog Xiaotian, what happened to you? Oh my, this is too tragic, who did this to you? So ruthless..."
Struggling to get up, Dog Xiaotian cried, "A bastard did it!"
Upon hearing this, Zhou Buhuo hurriedly took two steps back again.
Qin Shou quickly followed suit and backed away.
Then they heard the Kitchen God roar, his body swelled again, followed by the thudding sound of iron fists pummeling a lump of flesh and the pitiful wailing of a dog.
Qin Shou said, "Your master..."
Zhou Buhuo exclaimed, "I told you, my master hates lying the most. Why doesn’t he learn his lesson? Still lying..."
Qin Shou glared, and Zhou Buhuo gave him a look that said ’you know what I mean.’ Qin Shou immediately understood... The Kitchen God wasn’t losing his memory when he shrank; he knew everything. He was pretending to be mad, fooling the silly dog, beating for fun and staying in shape!
Indeed, the honest-looking ones are the sneakiest!
An hour later, the Kitchen God finished beating and once again returned to his frail state, stretched his arms and legs, and sighed contently, "Ah, suddenly I feel like my whole body has been stretched out, so comfortable... Dog Xiaotian, what happened to you?"
Dog Xiaotian climbed up and said, "What do you think? There are twelve hours in a day and you spent three hours beating me. Wouldn’t that invigorate someone’s blood and energy?"
"I beat you? This is from me beating you?" The Kitchen God asked in surprise, his expression and demeanor so convincing that Qin Shou would have believed it if he didn’t know better.
Dog Xiaotian wasn’t stupid either, and sticking firmly to his principle of not lying, he said, "Yes, you did!"
Upon hearing that, Qin Shou hastily said, "Kitchen God, although Dog Xiaotian was wrong earlier, you can’t beat him like that."
When Dog Xiaotian heard this, he almost cried. Worthy of being a brother, he still spoke up for him at the crucial moment!
The Kitchen God nodded slightly and said, "Hmm, it was a bit harsh."
Qin Shou said, "Yeah, way too harsh! Who beats like that? Anyone else would have had grievances, but Dog Xiaotian is different... He’s a model of loyalty, no matter how others treat him, he won’t hold grudges, such a good dog really shouldn’t be beaten like this. Right? Dog Xiaotian?"
Dog Xiaotian nodded and said, "Right, you can’t treat me like this."
Qin Shou continued, "So, do you have any grievances?"
Though Dog Xiaotian’s face was full of resentment, he still subconsciously shook his head in agreement with Rabbit, "No..."
Upon hearing this, Qin Shou raised a thumb and said, "Brother He, badass! Not afraid of death, huh!"
After speaking, Qin Shou quickly scurried away.
Only then did Dog Xiaotian realize what had happened and cursed aloud, "Damn it, I’ve been tricked!"
"Lying again! All full of anger and still saying there’s no grievance? Take this!" Kitchen God yelled out, grabbed Dog Xiaotian, and gave him a beating...
An hour later, Dog Xiaotian, with a swollen face, said to the two men and Rabbit, his voice trembling, "You guys, that’s too much... Take turns in beating me up, or at least pick a different time, but to beat on one all day without even a break, who could withstand that..."
Qin Shou nodded and said, "Makes sense... Kitchen God, look at him, all full of resentment now. Right, Dog Xiaotian?"
Firmly adhering to the principle of not lying, Dog Xiaotian nodded, "If it were you, you’d have complaints too!"
Zhou Buhuo and Rabbit quickly backed away...
Thud, thud, thud...
"I’m beating you for your own good, and you still hold grievances? Are you worthy of me? You traitor!"
Thud, thud, thud...
"A father’s fault for not educating his child. A teacher for a day is a father for life, is it easy for me to act as your dad?"
Thud, thud, thud...
An hour later.
Dog Xiaotian lay on the ground, barely lifting his eyelids, looking at the two people and Rabbit in front of him without saying a word.
Rabbit crouched down and asked, "Dog Xiaotian, do you still harbor any..."
Once Dog Xiaotian heard this, he sprang up and started singing, "La la la! La la la! La la la la la... Ah... yeah... Ah... yeah... I can’t hear anything! My voice is loud, yet I still can’t hear!"
Qin Shou looked at Zhou Buhuo, who then looked at Kitchen God, and all three shook their heads and sighed, "What a good dog, and now he’s gone mad."
Then the three of them walked away carrying the bones of the Triangular Boidae.
Dog Xiaotian watched the three of them leave, crying... What about the plan to trick Rabbit, how did it end up with him being the only one tricked? There is no justice! Damn it...
On the way, Zhou Buhuo asked, "Master, there’s only this much bone left of the Triangular Boidae, how are we going to explain it to the customers?"
Kitchen God waved his arm, looking completely at ease, "Isn’t there still some meat left on top? Scrape it off, and we can make a few decent dishes. Let’s just serve these to them!"
Qin Shou was shocked since he was the one who had eaten the meat, yet he still curiously asked, "They brought such a big snake, and you’re serving them scraps?"
Hearing this, Zhou Buhuo pursed his lips and said, "What do you mean scraps? They are lucky enough to have my master cook for them; can’t be choosy, can they? Besides, our restaurant has rules: if you want my master to cook, you have to bring your own ingredients, and they have to interest him. Second, it must be complete ingredients, but the master is only responsible for making two dishes, the rest belong to our restaurant. Come to think of it, it’s also my first time seeing a Triangular Boidae. I haven’t seen the master cook one before; I’m going to learn a lot this time."
"Holy Cao, isn’t this robbery?" Dog Xiaotian blurted out upon catching up.
The three men turned back and looked at him, causing Dog Xiaotian to nearly tuck his tail between his legs out of fear; he lowered his head and stayed silent.
Zhou Buhuo shook his head, "If there were no rewards, why should my master lift a finger? My master is the Kitchen God!"
Qin Shou wondered, "If it’s that expensive, there can’t be many customers in your restaurant, right?"
Dog Xiaotian’s ears perked up when he heard this. He and Rabbit were forced to toil because the Kitchen God mentioned being blocked by more than thirty customers. If it was as Zhou Buhuo said, there probably weren’t many customers each day.
They definitely must have been swindled!
Zhou Buhuo chuckled, "I was talking about distinguished guests; how could ordinary customers afford my master’s skills?"
"Then whose skills are they eating?" Qin Shou asked in surprise.
As they spoke, Zhou Buhuo lifted another curtain and said, "Just go in and see."
Qin Shou and Dog Xiaotian followed him in.
The next moment, a chaotic cacophony erupted—whistling winds, cracking fires, the clanging of woks tossing food, and people’s voices calling out incessantly!
Qin Shou looked up and saw layers of clouds floating in the air, with a stove on each one, where cooks of various sizes and materials skillfully juggled their pots, grilling, deep-frying, and sautéing all sorts of delicacies.
As the aroma wafted over, Qin Shou felt his nose was insufficient, his mouth watering like a river.
He felt all the dishes smelled good, and he wanted to taste every one of them...
Qin Shou swallowed his saliva and asked, "Are these all your master’s disciples?"
Zhou Buhuo looked up arrogantly and said, "My master has only one disciple—me! These are chefs from other places who want to develop their culinary skills, volunteering to help for free."
"What? Volunteering? For free? Helping?" Dog Xiaotian asked in astonishment.
Qin Shou also looked puzzled, wondering how there could be such selflessly generous people in the world?
Zhou Buhuo laughed, "I know you can’t understand, but you’ll get it soon..."
As they spoke, Kitchen God leaped into the air, ascending to the highest cloud. The cloud descended, allowing everyone to see the actions on top.
Then Kitchen God didn’t bother with anyone else; with a wave of his hand, the bones of the Triangular Boidae flew up into the air!
With a flick of his sleeve, Kitchen God’s body swelled tremendously, transforming back into a fierce man’s shape—not the fierce demon from earlier but rather with a serious and composed expression, exuding the demeanor of a distinguished chef.
