Quadruplets’ Charm: The Tycoon’s Hidden Heirs
Chapter 360: One Person Catches One

Chapter 360: Chapter 360: One Person Catches One

"Mommy..." Junjun was the first to speak. Then suddenly he lunged forward, "Mommy!"

The others seemed to wake from a dream and, crying, they pounced as well—

"Mommy!"

"Mommy!"

"Mommy!"

Xing Ling was instantly overwhelmed by the four children; the half-eaten bun she had dropped on the ground rolled far away.

"Wait a minute..." Xing Ling was taken aback, her arms and legs were fine, but her neck was nearly choked off.

"No!"

"Mommy don’t go!"

"Don’t want to be apart from Mommy!"

"Found Mommy!"

The four children hugged Xing Ling and began to cry loudly.

Xing Ling’s heart trembled with their cries, at a loss for what to do.

The strength of the children’s grip surprised her; how afraid were they of her running away?

And even if she could manage to push them away, what if she hurt them?

So, Xing Ling stood still like a wooden stake, her mind slowly searching for a solution.

A young woman ran over, dressed in neat attire, "I’m so sorry, the children didn’t mean to do this, quadruplets come down quickly, don’t be like this."

Xing Ling glanced at the badge on the woman’s chest, a Beijing Institute teacher.

However, even the teacher’s intervention was futile.

The quadruplets just wouldn’t let go, they couldn’t be pulled off no matter what.

The moment someone tried, they’d start wailing, their emotions intense, as if they could cry the sky down.

The teacher, at a loss for what to do, kept apologizing to Xing Ling.

Xing Ling, her neck constricted, tilted her head upwards to look at the sky.

Upon hearing the word quadruplets, she remembered who they were.

They were Ye Sihan’s children; Xiao Yu had shown her them in the coffee shop.

Back then, she’d even commented on how much she liked them.

But why were they crying and holding onto her now, calling her Mommy? They must have mistaken her for someone else!

She was still a maiden with her first kiss intact!

No, that’s not right, her first kiss had been taken by their father, Ye Sihan, that devil!

The teacher continued to apologize, desperately trying to coax the quadruplets into letting go of Xing Ling.

But it was utterly ineffective.

"It’s okay, it’s okay," Xing Ling reassured the teacher, then she raised her hand and gently patted the back of one child and then touched another; after making contact with all four, she negotiated, "Can you let go of me first? We can’t talk like this."

"No!"

"Mommy will run away!"

"Mommy isn’t allowed to go anywhere!"

"I’m going to cry to death!"

Xing Ling couldn’t help but laugh wryly and said helplessly, "I won’t, I promise. I will just sit here and not move an inch, okay?"

After she had finished speaking, the quadruplets’ grip relaxed slightly, they lifted their tear-stained little faces, pale and plump, like tender dumplings that made one want to pinch and prod.

"Mommy..." The four little ones stared at their mommy’s face, holding their teary eyes open without blinking, fearing that if they blinked mommy would disappear.

Xing Ling felt a sourness in her heart, such pitiful children.

Before she knew it, her hand was already wiping their tears.

She stared at her wet fingertips, somewhat dazed.

Xibao pouted and buried his head into mommy’s chest, refusing to come out.

Xing Ling’s hand hesitated, but she couldn’t resist pulling the little head off her chest.

She could only say to the three boys, "Look carefully at my face, you’ve got the wrong mommy."

"Why would Mommy say something like that? You are our mommy!"

"It’s Mommy’s face!"

"You are our mommy!"

The Xibao in her arms began to sob softly.

Xing Ling felt her chest grow damp, the thin fabric sticking to her skin.

She was somewhat at a loss.

She touched her own face, feeling puzzled—could it be that her face closely resembled their mother’s? It must be, right?

But what could she do? The teacher was at a loss, and so was she.

She felt like a big tree, unable to shake off the sloths clinging to it no matter what.

Xing Ling had to call Xiao Yu, "I’ve encountered a rather absurd situation, and it might require Ye Sihan to intervene..." As she spoke, the little head against her chest finally lifted.

Looking at her with tearful eyes, yet not pitiable at all.

The three boys were also behaving obediently.

After hanging up the phone, Xing Ling said, "Don’t worry, your dad will be here soon."

As soon as she finished speaking, they clung to her even tighter.

Her neck was constricted once more.

And a face buried in her neck, puffing with irritation.

Just how insecure were these four kids, if the sight of a woman who looked a bit like their mom made them grasp and not let go? It must be because Ye Sihan, busy with countless tasks, had neglected to spend time with his children.

Such small children, education is important, but so is companionship!

However, a man like Ye Sihan, with his cold exterior and ruthless heart, surely wouldn’t understand what companionship means!

The teacher stood by with an awkward smile, while Xing Ling said, "It’s okay, you can look after the other kids. Their dad will be here shortly anyway."

The teacher was a bit hesitant—who knew if this was really the quadruplets’ father?

Others might not know how precious the quadruplets were, but how could she be unaware?

If anything went wrong, even the lives of her entire family wouldn’t be enough to compensate!

But she couldn’t just neglect the other little friends.

Fortunately, within a limited distance, she managed to attend to the kids in the class while keeping an eye on Xing Ling.

Suddenly, she felt that the strange woman wouldn’t be able to do much anyway. Being entangled by four children like this, it wouldn’t be easy to break free in a short time.

Half an hour later, Xing Ling felt someone approaching.

She couldn’t even turn her head, only sensing the looming feeling of oppression.

A shadow loomed above, blocking out much of the light in front.

Those backlit eyes looked down at her, like a black hole in the sky, capable of swallowing everything.

Xing Ling’s hand weakly lifted up, "Don’t just stand there watching, help me out, I’m about to collapse."

After she had finished speaking, she saw Ye Sihan didn’t move. He only used his eyes, sharp as an eagle’s, to stare at her, piercingly enough to penetrate her body and soul, giving her a tingling sensation on her scalp.

She didn’t understand why Ye Sihan had such a quiet and strange reaction. Just as she was about to say something, that deep and intimidating voice finally sounded—

"Come down."

"No!" Junjun said defiantly.

"No!"

"No!"

"No!"

The quadruplets’ vehement voices almost burst Xing Ling’s eardrums.

"He’s your dad, how can you say no? Be good, if you go back with dad, you will see your mom," she gently soothed the four little darlings.

"Mom is here. How can we see her if we go back?" Zhengzheng asked.

"Mom should come back with us!" Junjun suggested.

"We’ll go if mom goes!" Haohao insisted.

"Don’t want to be separated from mom!" Xibao buried her head in the chest again.

This is the scent of mom. She remembered it.

Xing Ling gave Ye Sihan a smile that was both awkward and helpless, See? It has nothing to do with me, right? I didn’t do anything, so don’t act like I’m luring these kids.

"How about you go bring their mom here?" she suggested.

It seemed only the real deal could have an effect.

Ye Sihan wouldn’t suffice.

Ye Sihan looked at her coldly, making Xing Ling feel instantly enveloped by a chilling terror, freezing in place.

Then Xibao, who was lying in her arms, was taken away.

The bodyguards approached from all sides, each grabbing a child.

No matter how strong the three boys were, they couldn’t outmatch grown men!

"Get lost!"

"Let me go!"

"Don’t touch me!"
