Quadruplets’ Charm: The Tycoon’s Hidden Heirs -
Chapter 351: Do You Know Her?
Chapter 351: Chapter 351: Do You Know Her?
"Does that sound like something a man would say? Isn’t it very normal for a man to have a mistress outside? Let alone a man with power and influence like Ye Sihan."
With a bit of alcohol in her system, she spoke without reservation.
The faces around her started to leer, no different from that of hooligans.
After the director had sent off the people from the Ministry of Land and Resources, he discussed the next day’s filming with the actors before dismissing everyone.
Ye Sihan took Wu Qianqian to Caged Studio.
Seeing the studio’s name, she felt it was quite unique.
Why ’Caged’? Could it be that the artists were like phoenixes waiting to soar?
It was now midnight, with no staff present.
Inside the entire studio, there were only her and Ye Sihan.
"Get familiar with the environment first," Ye Sihan said.
Wu Qianqian looked around; the studio’s interior was understated yet luxurious, exuding elegance.
After all, this was a studio set up inside the KING Corporation; how could it be anything less?
Although she was of Chinese descent, not familiar with the domestic scene, her recent interactions and inquiries had made it clear to her how rare a man Ye Sihan was.
While Wu Qianqian’s attention was elsewhere, Ye Sihan was staring at her back.
He confirmed once again that her silhouette was exactly like the one in his dreams.
"Can I really sign a contract with KING Corporation?" Wu Qianqian approached him, looking into his eyes with hope.
"Come straight here tomorrow," Ye Sihan said.
Wu Qianqian was about to say something when she suddenly felt dizzy, her body swaying.
Ye Sihan caught her, and she instinctively collapsed into his arms, "Sihan, I’ve drunk too much, I’m feeling so dizzy..." Lifting her face, her eyes glistened as she looked at him.
Ye Sihan’s dark gaze narrowed as they made eye contact.
With the closeness of their bodies, the atmosphere became charged with ambiguity.
If Wu Qianqian had not drunk alcohol, she would not have behaved in such a way; after all, she needed to present a reserved side in front of Ye Sihan, not letting him think she was a woman of easy virtue.
Now, it could be said she was exhibiting drunken misbehavior.
Of course, Wu Qianqian was very much looking forward to something happening with Ye Sihan.
She was genuinely attracted to him.
Just as her lips were about to touch his, Ye Sihan said sternly, "You’re drunk, I’ll take you back."
Wu Qianqian regained her senses bewilderedly, getting up from his embrace and steadying herself, "Sorry, I am... I drank too much. It’s the first time I’ve lost my composure like this..." she said embarrassedly, tucking her hair behind her ear. "Shall we go then?"
After leaving KING Corporation, he dropped Wu Qianqian at Cloud Club.
She was just a stand-in; all her expenses to come to the capital had been out of her own pocket.
Now that she was no longer with the crew, Ye Sihan had arranged accommodations for her.
The people entering and leaving Cloud Club were all either rich or noble, and although she was of Chinese descent, she had never experienced such treatment before.
Watching the Rolls-Royce vanish into the night, Wu Qianqian turned and returned to her room.
It was a high-end suite, and as she collapsed onto the bed, she wished Ye Sihan were there with her.
But this further emphasized that Ye Sihan was different from other men, not the kind to be swayed by pretty faces.
The black Rolls-Royce sped steadily through the night, with Ye Sihan submerged in darkness in the back seat, his gaze as deep as the night itself, staring absently out the window.
On the window, only his lone reflection was visible, cold and solitary.
He shifted his gaze back, opened his laptop, and focused on company affairs.
Suddenly, a harsh braking.
Ye Sihan furrowed his brows slightly, his expression turning frosty.
The driver, nervous, said, "I’m sorry, Mr. Ye, someone’s flagging us down."
Before he had finished speaking, a face appeared at the window.
The driver rolled down the window, exposing Xing Ling’s small, palm-sized face, and then he froze.
Xing Ling didn’t notice the driver’s expression and said, "Sorry, my car broke down, could you help me take a look?"
When Ye Sihan heard the familiar voice, he lifted his dark eyes to look.
The driver was Ye Sihan’s bodyguard; how could he not recognize Tang Yu?
"You..." he doubted he was seeing a ghost in the middle of the night and abruptly turned to look at Mr. Ye behind him.
Xing Ling followed his gaze and also saw the man sitting in the back seat, her expression one of surprise.
She had randomly hailed a car without noticing what kind it was, and it turned out to be Ye Sihan’s ride?
She waved at him, "Help out? It’s really scary out here late at night, pitch-dark. It’s easy for something bad to happen to a girl like me. Please!"
Her hands pressed together in a plea, her large eyes spirited.
"No help." Ye Sihan coldly withdrew his gaze.
The driver stood there, at a loss for what to do next.
Xing Ling couldn’t believe it; could this man be any less humane?
Fearing the driver would drive away and leave her stranded, she desperately clung to the car window, "I’m begging you, I left my phone in the bar and can’t contact anyone. Mr. Ye, considering our past interactions, please help me out!"
Ye Sihan’s silence and aura were oppressively heavy.
He glanced at the pair of snowy white fingers on the car window under the light, their tips pink, youthful like those of a young girl.
"Drive." Ye Sihan decided it wasn’t necessary to help.
The driver had no choice but to say to Xing Ling, "I’m sorry, please remove your hands, or they might get caught."
Xing Ling was furious but dared not speak out, and she withdrew her hands.
The car slid past her, moving further and further away.
Xing Ling was laughably angry.
If she hadn’t been worried about losing the opportunity to continue filming on set, she really would have said some unpleasant things to Ye Sihan!
The road was lit by streetlights, but there were no houses around, and just moments ago, she had risked her life flagging down a car!
This Ye Sihan, utterly inhumane!
Wu wu wu!
"Do you know her?" Ye Sihan asked in a deep voice, his head lowered as he continued to focus on his laptop.
The driver knew he was being asked and didn’t know what to say. If he didn’t give an explanation, his dereliction would only add to the pressure, "Um... doesn’t Mr. Ye remember?"
Ye Sihan’s gaze lifted, looking at the driver’s face in the rearview mirror.
"She looks exactly like Miss Tang Yu..." the bodyguard driver thought, Assistant Xiao only told us not to disclose Miss Tang Yu’s suicide by jumping into the sea; it shouldn’t be a problem to say this much, right?
"...Tang Yu..." Ye Sihan muttered the unfamiliar name between his thin lips, also trying to recall. "Who is she?"
"She’s the quadruplets’ biological mother. When I saw that woman’s face just now, I was startled, thinking Miss Tang Yu had come back," said the driver.
Ye Sihan was unusually silent.
How could Xing Ling look exactly like the quadruplets’ mother? A coincidence?
Xing Ling stood anxiously by the roadside, looking for any passing cars. Why had she dropped her phone at the bar!
Now she couldn’t hail a car, nor could she contact anyone on her phone!
This was maddening!
Just as she was craning her neck to peer down the road, she suddenly felt droplets of water on her neck.
One drop, two drops, three drops...
In the light in front of the headlights, she could clearly see the continuous drizzle of rain.
"You’ve got to be kidding me?" Xing Ling turned around to head back to her car, only to find the door wouldn’t open, "Where are my keys?"
Then she remembered she hadn’t taken them out.
Frustrated, she tugged at the door several times before giving up.
She covered her head with her hands as the rain grew heavier, drenching her quickly.
She had been pampered since childhood and had never suffered like this. Her eyes reddened as she was about to cry.
And yet, she continued to curse under her breath, "Ye Sihan, you devil with a grudge, be careful not to fall into my hands, I will never let you off..."
As she was cursing, a cough with a hint of reminder came from beside her.
Xing Ling turned her head and saw Ye Sihan, who had somehow returned, standing not far off, with his driver holding a black umbrella over him.
The driver was the one who had coughed.
She first felt a twinge of guilt and then, seeing the shelter of the umbrella, she ran towards it without a second thought.
She made a beeline straight for Ye Sihan.
