Chapter 337: Chapter 337: I Like You

However, Tang Yu just bit her lips tightly, sobbing in pain, stubbornly refusing to utter a word.

Ye Sihan stared at her dark, bloodshot eyes, "Fine, whenever you answer, that’s when I’ll let you go."

"Please..." Tang Yu’s tears slid down, her voice hoarse and pained.

"Wrong answer." Ye Sihan carried her to the sofa, and during that time, they never parted.

Tang Yu struggled painfully against him.

Ye Sihan’s brows were tightly knit, his breath turned into a fierce pant, as if he couldn’t take it anymore, yet he blamed Tang Yu.

Thus, he punished her even more uncontrollably.

Tang Yu didn’t know how long she had been tormented on the sofa, nor how long back on the bed, her body devoid of any strength, as limp as mud.

However, this did not mean that Ye Sihan would be merciful or let her go.

Fainting, then being woken up, waking then fainting again, over and over.

Tang Yu’s body, her spirit, endured the most terrible destruction in the world.

Finally, she cried out, "I like you, only you..."

Only then did Ye Sihan soften, kissing her lips with satisfaction.

Afterwards, Tang Yu was cleaned up and was unconscious throughout.

Even without consciousness, her body continued to tremble faintly, as if not yet liberated from fear.

Ye Sihan climbed into bed, holding her in his arms, his voice husky, "If you had just said so earlier, there wouldn’t have been an issue, remember, you can’t resist me."

The next day, Tang Yu slept until well past sunrise.

She sat against the headboard, eating the lunch Ye Sihan was feeding her.

She looked very calm, just not daring to touch Ye Sihan’s face, so she almost continually looked downward.

After finishing the food, without getting up, Ye Sihan’s dark eyes pinned hers, "Don’t you have anything to say to me?"

"I... want to see the children."

"Can you get out of bed now?"

Tang Yu was silent.

"In a couple of days," Ye Sihan promised her.

Tang Yu didn’t speak, turned her face away, and looked out the window.

The weather outside was nice, sunny.

Only, no amount of sunlight could save her now...

During the two days of waiting to see the children, Tang Yu stayed in bed.

As her body slowly recovered, she tried to get down from the bed and went to the bathroom to look at her face in the mirror.

Her skin was pale, as if she hadn’t seen sunlight since summer.

Is this how she wanted to see the children?

Less than two minutes after she came in, the bathroom door was pushed open without permission.

Tang Yu put down her hand from arranging her hair, and that tall, dark shadow was already standing behind her.

His body bent low, an overwhelming sense of oppression, his thin lips against her ear, gazing at her through the mirror, "How did you get thinner? Seems like I haven’t fed you enough."

Tang Yu was about to look down when her chin was blocked by an outstretched hand, lifting it up.

"Look at me."

Tang Yu’s long eyelashes trembled, meeting the black eyes in the mirror.

"Breathe," Ye Sihan said.

Only then did Tang Yu realize she had been holding her breath, she gasped, "What are you doing?"

"Do you like me?" Ye Sihan asked.

"Why are you asking again?" Tang Yu didn’t understand.

"I want to hear it," Ye Sihan was imperious.

"... I like you," Tang Yu was forced to say it again.

Ye Sihan turned her face towards his, kissing her soft lips thoroughly before releasing her, "When you gain a bit more weight, we’ll take the kids out to sea."

"Okay," Tang Yu agreed.

Two days later, although Tang Yu’s body had not fully recovered, she was at least fine with regular activities.

When the door opened, the four little ones couldn’t wait to rush in, heading towards the living room—

"Mommy!"

"Mommy!"

"Mommy!"

"Mommy!"

To their surprise, there was no one in the living room.

"Huh?"

"Mommy?"

"Where are you?"

"Hmm?"

"I’m right here."

With just a turn of their heads, the four little ones saw Mommy standing on the balcony and happily ran over—

"Mommy!"

They went straight into Mommy’s arms.

Xibao couldn’t reach up, so he hugged Mommy’s legs from below and looked up at her excitedly with his little head.

Tang Yu’s face was gently smiling, she squatted down, and hugged them, "Did you come back from school?"

"Yes!"

"Came back from school and missed Mommy so much!"

"Daddy’s a meanie, wouldn’t let us come to see Mommy!"

"Hmph!"

Ye Sihan, who entered later, tugged at his collar, his voice deep, "I heard that."

"We’re just telling the truth!" Junjun said defiantly, hands on hips.

Ye Sihan went to get a drink and ignored him.

The four little ones also ignored him, their eyes only on Mommy.

Ye Sihan, drinking water and looking towards the balcony, could see that Tang Yu’s mood was definitely better with the kids around than when facing him; there was even a smile on her face.

This realization annoyed him a bit.

Dinner was delivered by the bodyguard, made by the Ye Mansion.

It was a full table.

The four little ones could eat quite a lot, Xibao even more than Tang Yu.

Tang Yu seemed uninterested in the food, her gaze constantly on the children as if she hadn’t seen them for a long time and wanted to have a good look.

To etch their cute and cuddly appearances firmly in her mind.

"Don’t just watch them." Sihan said as he put some food into her bowl.

Tang Yu came back to her senses, "I’m not very hungry." Though she said so, under Sihan’s pressing gaze, she still ate the food in her mouth.

"Have some soup." Sihan didn’t force her to eat and served her a bowl of soup.

Tang Yu took small sips.

Her attention remained entirely on the four little ones, as if they were the only ones before her eyes.

After dinner, the four little ones had some homework to do.

They were crafts and books that Sihan had mandated they read.

Tang Yu stayed with them throughout, and although the children were chattering, she felt an incomparable peace in her heart.

As she watched, her eyes became slightly red.

Upon hearing Sihan’s movement, she immediately subdued her unsettled emotions and began talking with the kids.

The sofa next to her sank as Sihan sat down.

"I want to take the kids out tomorrow." Tang Yu said.

"That’s fine." Sihan agreed.

Tang Yu then said no more.

That night, the four little ones slept in the guest room, Tang Yu sat on the edge of the bed watching their peaceful sleeping faces, reluctant to leave.

"What time is it?" The door opened, and Sihan’s tall figure appeared.

Only then did Tang Yu return to her own room and shared a bed with Sihan.

Even nestled in his chest.

As if she was a part of his body, with no gap in between.

Tang Yu didn’t suffer from insomnia; she fell asleep quickly.

It was as if she had learned to be submissive in Sihan’s arms.

In fact, the next day the four little ones were supposed to go to school since it wasn’t Sunday.

But Tang Yu wanted to take the kids out to play, and since Sihan said they could skip, they didn’t have to go.

The destination was an amusement park.

Tang Yu didn’t play, she just watched from the side.

Xibao was timid; apart from eating, she wouldn’t go on any rides.

Even a slow-moving little turtle ride could make her turn pale, but she still braved it and sat down, classified as brave.

Whether they were happy or timid, all these were experiences the children needed to grow up.

They would thrive.
