Quadruplets’ Charm: The Tycoon’s Hidden Heirs
Chapter 328: Appease Her for Now

Chapter 328: Chapter 328: Appease Her for Now

"Hmm," Ye Sihan relaxed his shoulders and closed his dark eyes.

In his mind, he thought of the times he and Tang Yu had spent together.

He didn’t think he was wrong, instead, he felt that Tang Yu was pressuring him.

She’s too greedy!

Any woman would be happy with just some money.

Only she wanted to take the position of Mrs. Ye.

Wanted to gain his love.

So, was her depression because she couldn’t have what she desired?

Behind him, Yi Die was gripping hard but her thoughts lingered on Ye Sihan.

She had never been this close to him before.

Even when linking arms in the past, it wasn’t as intimate as it was now.

Her heartbeat quickened, yearning for more.

So, she stealthily brought her face closer, holding her breath as she made these small movements.

Suddenly, the phone on the office desk vibrated, scaring Yi Die into immediately standing up straight.

Ye Sihan’s dark eyes snapped open, a cold light flashing through them.

As he reached for the phone, his body moved forward, breaking away from Yi Die’s hands, "Get out."

Feeling guilty, Yi Die said, "Yes."

Ye Sihan picked up the call, "What’s the matter?"

"Miss Tang has left the house."

"If you lose her, you know the consequences."

"Yes."

After sitting at home for over an hour, Tang Yu received a call from Meng Jilin saying that Ye Yuli showed signs of awakening.

It just so happened that Ye Yuli’s family wasn’t around, so she could go and visit.

Inside, Tang Yu wore a low-cut sweater, and she put on a long coat before she left.

She took a taxi directly to the hospital.

Is he waking up?

That’s great!

When she arrived, Ye Yuli was in the observation room, and as Tang Yu approached, Meng Jilin just happened to come out of the room.

"How is it?"

Meng Jilin didn’t answer right away but first took note of Tang Yu’s facial expression and emotion.

"Why aren’t you speaking? Has he woken up?" Tang Yu asked anxiously.

"It’s not that he has awakened, it was a reflex due to neural instinct, and now he has fallen into a coma again," Meng Jilin explained.

"Then... is that a good sign?"

"It’s a good sign," Meng Jilin nodded. In fact, this reaction had little to do with awakening.

But he didn’t want to worry Tang Yu.

Surviving on her own was already difficult enough for her.

Ye Yuli was transferred back to the ward, and Tang Yu stood by the bed for a while, seeing no difference from before.

She softly called out to him, "Yuli? Ye Yuli, it’s Tang Yu. Can you hear my voice? Will you please wake up soon?"

As she spoke, tears fell without warning.

She felt so sad.

And her heart ached.

It was as if a split wound was bleeding again.

Meng Jilin came over and put his arm around her shoulder, "Come on, let’s go out first."

A pair of dark eyes entered the ward, "Go where?"

Tang Yu’s body instantly stiffened.

Seeing the formidable presence of the newcomer, Meng Jilin let go of Tang Yu’s shoulder, his expression neither servile nor overbearing, "Mr. Ye, Ye Yuli showed signs of awakening, so I informed Miss Tang."

Ye Sihan’s cold and stern gaze swept over Tang Yu, who was silent with her head bowed, then turned to Meng Jilin with an intimidating chill, "Is she a family member?"

"A friend."

"You notify a friend instead of family, what are you trying to do?" Ye Sihan’s black eyes were sharply piercing.

The oppressive atmosphere in the hospital room became terrifying.

Meng Jilin nodded slightly, just about to speak, when Tang Yu burst out anxiously, "Enough! It was I who asked Dr. Meng to inform me when Yuli had an incident! Stop making it difficult for him!"

Having said that, she ran out of the ward.

Ye Sihan stood still, his entire face shrouded in gloom, looking at Meng Jilin, "From now on, even if Ye Yuli dies, do not inform Tang Yu."

Tang Yu ran out and, upon reaching the hospital’s entrance, stopped dead in her tracks at the sight of the Rolls-Royce stretched out before her.

Even the car door was open.

As if waiting for her to plummet directly into the devil’s den.

"Get in the car," came the voice of Ye Sihan from behind her, like the Devil himself.

Before Tang Yu could react, she was hugged and pushed into the car.

She wasn’t given a chance to resist.

The car sped away.

Tang Yu shrank back in her seat by the car door, the oppressive feeling in the sealed vehicle making her uncomfortable, forcing her to stare at the swiftly passing road outside the window.

Ye Sihan, sitting opposite her, said nothing, but his black eyes fixed on her unblinkingly, like a beast stalking its prey.

After a long while, he finally opened his thin lips, "Ayu, you’re not faking it, are you?"

Tang Yu shivered and looked at Ye Sihan, "...What?"

Ye Sihan leaned forward slightly, full of aggression, his sharp, dangerous eyes staring at her, "Do you really have depression, or are you putting on a show for me? Just to achieve your goal?"

Tang Yu stood there, seemingly not understanding what Ye Sihan was saying.

She had depression? Putting on a show for her? Her goal... what was that?

Why couldn’t she understand anything Ye Sihan was saying?

Ye Sihan sat upright, leaning back in his seat, his gaze direct and harsh, "I can allow you your scenes, but don’t overdo it. Don’t come to the hospital again, whether it’s because of Ye Yuli or your injury, I don’t want to see you."

Not daring to say a word, Tang Yu held her breath.

Because she found Ye Sihan at that moment terrifying, like a paranoid psychopath capable of snapping at any time.

Getting out of the car, Tang Yu realized they were in the parking lot of the KING Group.

There was an elevator that went directly to the floors from the parking lot.

As the elevator ascended, Tang Yu stood beside Ye Sihan and asked uneasily, "Why am I here?"

"You could take a look at the studio," Ye Sihan said in a deep voice.

Tang Yu knew that since she had slit her wrist on New Year’s Day, she had been hospitalized for three days and then had stayed in her rented room for many more. Everyone who should be at work was at work.

Only she was in a daze.

If it hadn’t been for Meng Jilin’s call, she would still be sleeping on the bed in her rented room.

"The child... where is the child?" Tang Yu wondered if the child had gone to school.

"You still think of the child? I thought you only remembered Ye Yuli," Ye Sihan’s shadowy face was reflected in the elevator door.

Biting her lower lip, Tang Yu insisted she wasn’t like that... not at all...

"They’re abroad," Ye Sihan said.

Tang Yu was startled, "Abroad?"

As the elevator doors opened, Ye Sihan walked out.

Reacting, Tang Yu hurried after him, grabbing his arm, "What do you mean? You won’t let me see the children anymore? Ye Sihan, you said you wouldn’t fight me for the children..."

Seeing her terrified look, Ye Sihan’s hard heart sank, and he raised his hand to wipe the tears from her face, "What’s the hurry? They’re just off playing, they’ll be back in a few days."

"Is... is it just for fun?"

"What else? You think I’m using the children to threaten you?" Ye Sihan’s fingers, after wiping her tears, gently hooked under her chin, his voice deep and husky, "Unnecessary."

The rough texture on her jaw skin, and the man’s too-close face, made Tang Yu uncomfortable, and she hastily retreated, "Then... I’ll go to the studio."

After that, she stepped back into the elevator, and the doors closed.

Ye Sihan stroked his fingertips, still feeling the delicacy of her skin on them.

Never mind, he thought, just indulge her for now, as long as she doesn’t cause another scene.
