Chapter 994 - 994 The Last Terminator 3
Chapter 994: The Last Terminator 3 Chapter 994: The Last Terminator 3 After nearly six hours of flying, Bruce Bartley finally spoke again.
Victoria Garcia dared not fall asleep, and Arnold Johnson stayed by her side the whole time.
Sometimes, Victoria found it strange that Bruce would allow her to cuddle up in Arnold’s arms like that—didn’t he feel any hatred or rage?
“Arnold, which one of you will drink this, you or Miss Garcia?” Bruce held a red pill in his hand, looking at it intently.
Victoria asked, “What is this medicine?”
“Of course, it’s not anything good. I don’t have such a kind heart as to let the two of you fly alongside each other.” Bruce said with a smile.
Victoria, of course, knew it wasn’t anything good; she just wanted to know if it was poison and if it would be lethal.
Without a second thought, Arnold answered, “Of course, I’ll take it.”
“I knew you’d choose to take it yourself. After all, you’re a man. You have to protect your wife and your unborn child. If Miss Garcia takes it, naturally it would mean two lives lost, but if you take it, perhaps there’s a slim chance of survival.” Bruce explained as if he held all the knowledge in his palm, “I’m aware that your friend Wavy has fortified your body with medicine, but as for this pill I’m giving you, it may not be effective.”
“We’ll find out if I try it. If this poison doesn’t kill me, what do you plan to do?” Arnold remained calm, the more critical the situation, the calmer he became.
“Of course, I would kick you off the plane with one foot,” Bruce replied somewhat cheerfully.
Victoria tightly grasped Arnold’s hand, “Don’t eat it.”
She herself felt very weak saying these two words.
Since Bruce had taken it out, he hadn’t planned on taking it back.
“Madam Johnson, I’ve been lucky. Maybe I won’t die,” Arnold comforted her.
At this point, Victoria didn’t believe any of these comforting words. If she were alone, she would have fought to snatch it from Arnold’s hands.
“By the way, I have more than one pill. I really don’t like any attempt to resist or any pretense. The reason I’m sitting here and talking to you so gentlemanly is that I received a gentleman’s education since childhood. But if you provoke me, the cruelty that Edward Hernandez suffered will be enacted upon you tenfold,” Bruce said.
Thinking of Edward Hernandez’s death, Victoria’s face involuntarily turned pale; the scene was too cruel.
If she hadn’t taken action, she could hardly believe what the final image would have looked like.
“Don’t worry, I hadn’t thought about resisting,” Arnold said calmly, “However, before I take this pill, I only want to know, how will you treat my wife?”
Bruce was actually the smartest and most humane person in their entire family—it’s just that one bloody incident caused him to lose his “kindness.”
“Whether your wife will die or in what fashion she might die, I don’t know either.” Bruce waved his hand and continued, “You see, I won’t live much longer, but I have designed how your wife and the child in your belly will die. Whether I can see it or not, I really don’t know because I didn’t want your wife to die so soon.”
“What do you mean by that?” Arnold asked.
There were also things Arnold couldn’t guess; this made it all the more interesting.
“My meaning is very clear, do I still need to tell you the detailed process? I fear if I tell you, you won’t even die peacefully,” Bruce laughed.
This laugh was even more terrifying. Victoria felt a shiver run through her entire being.
