Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please! -
Chapter 992 - 992 The Last Terminator
Chapter 992: The Last Terminator Chapter 992: The Last Terminator As for what exactly Bruce Bartley’s arrangements and plans were, Arnold Johnson couldn’t fathom.
“Opportunities always have to be tried to know if they work, don’t they?” Having been through so many trials and tribulations, Arnold’s attitude remained calm as he replied faintly, “I never thought you would survive, yet you still fought for a chance to live, and even deceived everyone, didn’t you?”
“I admit you’re smart and capable, but I’m not afraid to hurt your feelings; your intelligence is still just a bit short when compared to mine, so your chances of winning are slim,” Bruce said bluntly, without any courtesy.
Arnold remained silent, not saying a word.
In terms of intelligence, Bruce was indeed superior, even though Arnold was already someone with a high IQ.
“Arnold, whatever preparations you make before you come, I know them all. Do you think the people by your side can save you mid-air? Impossible. By the time they discover the coordinates of my plane, it will be time for you to go to hell,” Bruce said, laughing loudly. However, after a moment, he quickly closed his mouth because he couldn’t laugh for too long, nor could he allow his facial expressions to be too exaggerated.
This Bruce was actually pitiable, yet at the same time, detestable.
The hatred within the Gang knows no right or wrong; it’s only about unresolvable enmities.
They once attempted to kill Arnold, who in turn wiped out their base; that’s just how victory and defeat work, and naturally, such outcomes breed hatred.
“You’ve spent so many years setting up this grand scheme, and now you are about to get your wish. What are you feeling right now?” Arnold really wanted to know—how was he feeling?
After taking his revenge on him, Bruce’s life would also be at its end. It was apparent that he didn’t have many days left to live.
“Being able to fulfill my wish before I die, of course, I have no regrets. I’m quite satisfied and can go to meet my parents and siblings at peace,” Bruce thought of those warm times.
Even though he also knew what had been done to create those warm times behind the scenes, the bloodshed and cruelty had nothing to do with him. All he wanted was for his family to live well.
He would make whoever destroyed his family pay tenfold.
“What are you planning to do to me next?” Arnold asked.
“It seems you are quite anxious,” Bruce replied slowly, “The plane has only been flying for an hour, and there’s still a long way to go to the place I’m taking you.”
“Since you think I have no chance of winning, why not let me know how I’m going to die in advance? Enduring that anticipation would surely be more pleasurable for you!”
Bruce shook his head and said, “NO! NO! I find that not letting you know how you’ll die for the time being gives me a bit more excitement than if you did.”
Victoria Garcia stood beside Arnold, their hands clasped tightly together, neither letting go of the other.
The more Bruce saw the loving couple, the more irritating he found them, and the more he solidified his determination to separate them forever.
There could be nothing more tormenting than that.
Victoria informed Arnold about how Bruce had abducted Chloe Johnson and had made Grand Lady Johnson go to save her.
With such arrangements, what exactly was Bruce intending?
“Don’t worry, Chloe won’t die. She’s a chess piece that can disgust both of you; why would I willingly throw her away?”
Hearing Bruce say this, Arnold immediately blurted out, “Grand Lady Johnson is dead.”
