Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please!
Chapter 985 - 985 Lets play a game 2

Chapter 985: Let’s play a game 2 Chapter 985: Let’s play a game 2 Bruce Bartley was truly terrifying. If he really intended to dismember Edward Hernandez piece by piece right in front of her, that scene would be simply…

Victoria Garcia was now in no doubt that Bartley would indeed do such a thing.

“Victoria, listen to me! If you’re lucky enough to get out alive, I only hope you can save my family. And if possible, just shoot me dead right there,” Edward Hernandez said with a smile as he looked at her.

Victoria knew that Paul had resigned himself to death, as he could not bear the thought of being chopped up breath by breath by Bartley.

“Bartley, just put him out of his misery with one shot!” Victoria pleaded with him, her gaze almost begging.

However, Bartley coldly said, “You can’t even bear the loss of one hand. Sadly, I’m a person who only gives one chance. Since you didn’t take it, I’m sorry, but let’s continue our game. Next should be the turn of his right hand, if I’m not mistaken!”

“No…”

The word “no” had barely left Victoria’s lips when Edward Hernandez’s right hand was already chopped off.

“Madman… You’re a madman…” Victoria felt that she would truly be driven insane by him.

But once again, Bartley laughed terrifyingly.

“I just love watching people in despair, especially those Arnold Johnson cares about the most. This despair brings me great pleasure. Rest assured, when Arnold arrives, there will be even more despairing things happening. Oh, and more despair for Arnold as well,” Bartley said, his smile growing even more sinister.

Victoria clenched her fists tightly, catching her breath. She had to stay calm; she simply must keep her cool!

“Come, next, let’s discuss which eye of Mr. Hernandez first saw you!” Bartley said sadistically.

Victoria felt a chilling dread, seeing a bleak and desolate resignation in Edward Hernandez’s eyes.

She could not let Paul suffer such torment; she would rather kill him herself.

As soon as this thought surfaced, Victoria didn’t hesitate. She grabbed a fruit knife from the table and rushed to stab it right into Edward Hernandez’s vital spot.

“I’m sorry, Paul!” Victoria didn’t let go, she drove the knife deeper with force.

Even though she was truly terrified—it was her first time killing someone—she was more afraid she wouldn’t be able to end Edward’s life with a single cut.

Blood poured from Edward Hernandez’s mouth in torrents, yet there was a smile in his eyes.

“Thank you, Victoria!”

Shortly after he spoke, Edward Hernandez lost consciousness, his eyes closing forever.

Victoria thought she must have killed him.

Then, she violently pulled out the knife, having heard that doing so would ensure death without doubt.

After extracting the knife, Victoria instinctively threw it away, her hands still covered in Edward Hernandez’s fresh blood.

She had truly killed him by her own hand!

Behind her, the sound of Bartley’s applause rang out, accompanied by his annoying voice.

“Miss Garcia is truly brave and resourceful. I hope you can also prevent a tragedy when Arnold arrives,” he said.

After speaking, he gestured to a black-clothed man, who then placed a phone in front of him.

“Miss Garcia, let’s play another game now,” said Bartley, his tone carrying an alarming glee. “This game will soon let you see Arnold Johnson, whom you’ve been wanting to meet.”

Victoria looked at Bartley with horror.
