Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please!
Chapter 975 - 975 The child isnt mine

Chapter 975: The child isn’t mine. Chapter 975: The child isn’t mine. Arnold Johnson hadn’t arrived at the company when Grand Lady Johnson blocked him at the entrance.

Seeing the sudden arrival of Grand Lady Johnson, he couldn’t help but exclaim in surprise, “Mom, do you have business at the company?”

Grand Lady Johnson hadn’t interfered with the company’s affairs for many years. Arnold thought her visit might be about some company matter.

Grand Lady Johnson followed Arnold to his office.

As soon as they entered the office, Grand Lady Johnson said, “My second son, I didn’t come to talk about company matters today but about Chloe’s situation.”

Arnold was well aware of the status Chloe held in Grand Lady Johnson’s heart.

“Last night, Chloe came to my place for dinner and couldn’t stop vomiting. If I hadn’t pressed her, she wouldn’t have admitted to being pregnant with your child,” Grand Lady Johnson said, shocked. “I know you don’t like Chloe, and I don’t want to know how the two of you ended up with a done deal, but now that she has your child in her womb, our Johnson Family must take responsibility.”

“Take responsibility? Marry her?” Arnold’s lips curled into a cold sneer involuntarily.

Chloe’s only option now was to force Grand Lady Johnson to press Arnold—a move that meant nothing to him.

“You’re still unwilling to marry her? Still waiting for Victoria Garcia to change her mind? After how she treated you, how can you not give up? Can’t you act like a man and show that Garcia what she’s missing, let her know that not choosing you is her loss, that she doesn’t want to bear children for the Johnson Family, but there are plenty of others who do?” Grand Lady Johnson retorted heatedly.

“I won’t marry Chloe,” Arnold answered decisively.

Hearing such resolute words, Grand Lady Johnson could hardly contain her anger. How could Arnold be so stubborn at a time like this? Did she really raise her daughter to be so undesirable?

“Whether you marry her or not is your business, but as far as I’m concerned, I have accepted her as my daughter-in-law. Besides, I have already had Chloe move back into the Old Villa. The foolish girl didn’t get your approval and didn’t want to move back,” Grand Lady Johnson said, her heart feeling uneasy. Then she added, “There’s another thing I need to tell you. I have transferred all my company shares to Chloe’s name. After all, she is carrying the Johnson Family’s flesh and blood. You’re unwilling to acknowledge or marry her, but I do!”

Had Grand Lady Johnson gone mad?

It was known that Grand Lady Johnson held a significant number of shares. Now that she had transferred all her shares to Chloe, who already had her own shares, the total would almost match Arnold’s.

“Did you consider the Elder Sister-in-law and Frank when you made this decision?” Arnold had never been interested in the power struggles of the company. This family and company would eventually be handed over to Frank, but with Grand Lady Johnson acting impulsively like this, she unwittingly hurt her grandson and her daughter-in-law.

Of course, Grand Lady Johnson was aware that her actions might upset her grandson and her Daughter-in-law. But she had only this daughter, who now was pregnant, and naturally, she wanted to provide her with more support.

She had considered this matter a long time ago but had never found a suitable reason to carry it out until now.
