Chapter 953: Satisfy me Chapter 953: Satisfy me Arnold Johnson received a call from Chloe Johnson on the evening of the second day after Victoria Garcia miscarried their child.

It took several calls before Arnold answered. An indifferent voice came through, “What do you want?”

“I’m at Mountain Winery, and I want you to come over and drink with me,” Chloe said directly.

Drink?

“I don’t want to drink,” Arnold replied bluntly.

Chloe knew he would say this, so it wasn’t much of a disappointment for her.

“Arnold, I remember you promised me three things, and now I want the first thing to be you drinking with me until I’m drunk. That doesn’t violate any of your rules, does it?” Chloe’s voice was playful as she added the last part.

After a moment’s hesitation, Arnold replied, “Fine, I will set out soon.”

“Then I’ll wait for you, Arnold, but I want you to come alone,” Chloe reminded him.

Arnold didn’t know what sort of scheming might lie behind such a request.

But since he had made a promise to her in the past, there was naturally no reason for him to break it.

“Alright.” Having agreed, Arnold hung up the phone.

When it came to drinking, Arnold always had a high tolerance, and he had never lost his composure when drunk.

As for aphrodisiac drugs and the like, he wasn’t concerned since his physical constitution had always been able to handle it, even if he had been susceptible before.

Arnold made a call to Alan, telling him he was going to Mountain Winery and to find a place to stay within 500 meters of the winery. If Arnold paged him, Alan was to come and pick him up immediately.

Upon receiving the order, Alan set out for Mountain Winery on his own.

Arnold felt his arrangements did not mean he was breaking his word to Chloe; after all, he was going to the meeting alone. As long as she did not cause trouble, nothing untoward would happen.

Arnold quickly approached where Chloe was waiting.

Today, Chloe was clearly all dressed up, clad in a purple dress, her hair done up in a French elegant hairstyle, revealing her long and pale neck. Simple pearl earrings dangled from her ears, and she wore a matching single pearl series necklace. Despite the simplicity, it all looked very luxurious.

Arnold just glanced at her blandly, said nothing, and sat down opposite her.

In contrast to Chloe’s dressed-up appearance, Arnold was casually dressed in a charcoal grey T-shirt and khaki casual pants.

Even in such a simple outfit, Chloe still found him irresistibly charismatic.

“You’re finally here, Arnold,” Chloe said with a sweet smile.

Arnold looked at her cheerful and lovely expression but couldn’t feel happy. He simply responded with a polite smile.

“Since we’re here to drink, let’s have the wine I’ve stored here. It’s been a long time since I last came,” Arnold said as he pressed the service bell.

Chloe naturally agreed with a smile, “Sure, the wine you’ve stored must all be exquisite to taste.”

Arnold’s request was within her expectations; otherwise, she wouldn’t have chosen this location.
