***Must be sick!

“Edward Hernandez, don’t think I don’t know what sleazy thoughts are in your heart. You’re able to enter this room right now because you clearly understand why. Victoria has absolutely no other thoughts towards you. I advise you, give up that hope early and don’t meddle in our marital affairs,” Arnold Johnson spoke.

“I have never hidden my sleazy thoughts. I also don’t think there’s anything wrong with loving Victoria. She is the soulmate I’ve been searching for. You just recognized her a bit earlier than I did, but when it comes to feelings, there’s never a question of who comes first. Otherwise, the situation between you two wouldn’t have ended up like this,” Paul said, word by word, “Now that you’ve reached this point, it shows that even the heavens don’t want you to be together.”

“Edward Hernandez, I don’t want to talk too much with you. Some words are good for you to take to heart, but even if you don’t, I’ll make you understand them one day,” Arnold Johnson felt that it was better to punch this guy in the face rather than argue any twisted logic with him.

But this was Victoria’s territory, and he didn’t want to create a messy situation that would disgust her.

“No one knows what the final outcome will be; who wins and who loses is still unknown,” Edward Hernandez stated bluntly, “And let me make my stance clear to you—I’m not afraid of your threats. As long as Victoria is willing, I will always stand by her side, never yielding.”

A vow to never yield.

Without another look at him, Arnold Johnson wanted to check on Victoria Garcia in the kitchen, but was blocked by Edward Hernandez.

“Mr. Johnson, since we now both have a fair chance to compete, let’s leave it all up to Victoria,” Edward Hernandez certainly didn’t want to give them more opportunities.

Arnold Johnson coldly responded, “Edward Hernandez, there is no fair competition between us. Victoria and I are not divorced yet, and your actions are interfering with our marriage.”

“If you insist on seeing it that way, I have nothing to say, but if we both go in, it won’t be good for Victoria, right? So, at least in her eyes, we are temporarily in fair competition, and I don’t think you want Victoria to be upset anymore,” he retorted.

Arnold Johnson shook off Edward Hernandez’s hand and sat down on the couch.

Of course, Edward Hernandez didn’t go in either.

Neither of them looked at each other, each staring at a corner, listening to the noises coming from the kitchen.

Soon, Victoria Garcia finished making three dishes and a soup.

When it was time to eat, Arnold Johnson picked up a piece of tofu with his chopsticks and placed it in Victoria Garcia’s bowl, “Here, this is your favorite, eat more of it.”

Edward Hernandez, not to be outdone, said, “Victoria, you’ve been losing weight lately. Here, eat a couple more pieces of meat, get some of that weight back.”

As he spoke, he placed the meat he’d picked up into Victoria’s bowl.

Arnold Johnson continued serving vegetables, “I remember you like vegetarian dishes. Have some more greens to get plenty of vitamins.”

Already holding a bowl, Edward Hernandez was scooping soup for Victoria, saying, “It’s healthier to drink some soup before meals rather than after. Victoria, have some now.”

Watching the two men go back and forth, her plate quickly piled up with both dishes and soup.

Victoria Garcia felt that if they continued like this, she wouldn’t be able to eat her meal.

In her mind, it was as if the words “Eat mine… Eat mine…” kept repeating.

Seeing Victoria not touching her bowl and chopsticks, both Arnold Johnson and Edward Hernandez glared intensely at each other as if to say it was the other’s fault.

Neither man was willing to give in, sticking to one theory: Victoria Garcia is mine!
