Chapter 897: Where on earth is Hannah Garcia 3 Chapter 897: Where on earth is Hannah Garcia 3 Victoria Garcia turned around and said to her two sisters, “I’m fine, you don’t need to worry, I’ll be better after a couple of days of rest.”
“Big sister, we already know what happened.”
“Oh, how do you know?” Victoria asked offhandedly.
“I went to find Alexander Mitchell. He had no choice but to tell me because I pressed him,” Amelia Wilson replied, making her stance clear, “Sis, no matter what decision you make, we will always stand by your side.”
Looking into her sister’s concerned and trusting eyes, Victoria suddenly felt a clear sense of relief.
“What about Harriet?” Victoria asked, noticing only the two were present.
Upon mentioning Hannah Garcia, Amelia repeated the purpose of her visit.
“What? Harriet has disappeared?” Victoria sprang up, “Did you search all the places you could think of?”
“Yes, Younger Sister and I have been looking for a long time. We’ve contacted all of Harriet’s friends and classmates we could think of, but there’s no news of her, and her phone has been unreachable for the whole day now. That’s why we’re worried something may have happened to her.”
Amelia paused, then added, “Because I was worried about Harriet, I contacted Arnold Johnson. He told me you might be here, and he said he would help us look for Harriet.”
She carefully observed Victoria, afraid that she might be angry at her for taking the initiative.
Seeing that Victoria wasn’t angry, Amelia felt relieved.
“Well, having his help in the search is always a good thing. If even he can’t find her, then it’s even less likely that we could,” Victoria admitted, showing trust in that capability.
At this point, there was nothing to blame, since finding Little Sister was the most important thing.
With that thought, Victoria quickly took out her phone and turned it on. If anything had happened to Harriet because of her, she would definitely receive a call.
After turning on the phone, aside from some familiar people, there were no calls from strangers.
This news made Victoria feel unsafe, and she could only hope that Harriet was safe and sound—that was more important than anything else.
That night, the three of them were restless, dozing off in a daze, and it soon became daylight.
Victoria’s phone started ringing. It was a call from Arnold Johnson.
Without any hesitation, Victoria answered the phone; a call at this time would certainly be about Harriet.
“Victoria, my people have reported back, and the news isn’t good—there’s no sign of Harriet,” Arnold reported truthfully. “I’ll step up the search during the day and let you know as soon as I hear anything.”
Regardless, Victoria still said, “Thank you.”
“Between us, there’s no need for such formality.” Arnold, holding the phone, looked ahead, his expression showing deep solitude.
Daylight had come, but the people close to him were out of reach, a feeling that was not only hard to bear but also heartbreaking.
“I’ll go to the Police Station to report the case later, having more people looking increases the chances,” Victoria said.
Hearing this, Arnold agreed, “Don’t worry, I’ll have a word with them. I suppose the Police Station people will be more diligent in their efforts.”
“Thank you!” At this moment, aside from expressing her gratitude, she really didn’t know what else to say.
The atmosphere between the two of them suddenly became distant, making it hard for both to adjust to this change, when they had once been so close.
Many things seemed to have changed drastically all of a sudden.
