When everyone had left, Samantha could hardly wait to ask, “Frank, tell me, how did Chloe agree to let me go? Did she force you to sign the stock transfer agreement?”

Facing Samantha’s direct questioning, Frank nodded and said, “Mom, how did you know?”

Seeing her son change in this way also pained Samantha.
