Overflowing Hidden Feelings: This CEO Is Hard to Please!
Chapter 1008 - 1008 Frank Johnsons pain3

Chapter 1008: Frank Johnson’s pain3 Chapter 1008: Frank Johnson’s pain3 Frank Johnson and Samantha Powell returned to the Old Villa, where they waited for a private doctor to examine Samantha. She had no serious injuries, just some superficial ones, along with a bit of emotional shock, but nothing severe.

After receiving the doctor’s report, Frank finally felt at ease.

When everyone had left, Samantha could hardly wait to ask, “Frank, tell me, how did Chloe agree to let me go? Did she force you to sign the stock transfer agreement?”

Facing Samantha’s direct questioning, Frank nodded and said, “Mom, how did you know?”

“This damned Chloe, I really didn’t expect her to have such a venomous heart. I was really deceived by her usual appearance, one who seemed to have no competition in the world and just wanted to live her life with Arnold. And just like that, she turned against us and tried to wipe us all out. She is truly a despicable wretch, detestable… too detestable…” Overwhelmed by rage and emotion, Samantha could no longer restrain herself and began to weep unrestrainedly in front of Frank.

“The foundation of the Johnson Family, just like that, handed over to that wretch Chloe. I hate her so much… How could she be so ruthless, when the Old Lady treated her like her own daughter, and we always took such good care of her? Her heart is even more vicious than that of an ingratitude.”

Samantha felt uncomfortable, of course, but she understood that at this point, crying couldn’t solve any problems.

“Mom, what about your shares? Did you also transfer them to her?” Frank asked this almost without any hope.

At this thought, Samantha was filled with another burst of anger, saying, “At that time, when you were inside the house, she made me watch you. Then there were snipers surrounding us, aiming at your body. She told me that if I didn’t agree, they would shoot your left leg first, then your right leg, and then your arms… until I agreed to sign.”

Unscathed, it seemed that before even a single shot was needed, Samantha had surrendered.

In her heart, her son was more important than anything else. If she would have to sign anyway, why should she wait for her son to get hurt before doing it? So, she didn’t hesitate much and called a halt to it.

On reflecting upon this, Samantha felt both distressed and indignant. She said, “You should have been harder at that moment and not signed.”

“Not sign? And watch my own mother be mistreated by those people?” Frank had asked himself this question before. What’s more, if he didn’t sign, the one who would suffer and be hurt would definitely be Samantha.

No matter how useless he was, Frank wouldn’t let his mother endure such suffering.

“You… sigh…” Samantha felt comforted yet pained, “It’s just hard for me to accept that your father gave his life for this family, and in the end, he couldn’t carry on his legacy. Instead, that wretch reaped the benefits. This grudge, I can’t swallow it.”

“Mom, don’t be too sad. We can still figure out a way to get these things back if we lose them. If we lose our lives, that’s when we truly have nothing left,” Frank said firmly.

Seeing her son change in this way also pained Samantha.

“Frank, is your little uncle really dead?” Samantha truly found it hard to accept this.

In her heart, Arnold had always been a special figure. She resented him because her own husband died because of him, but she also recognized the effort and achievements he had made for the Johnson Family. He had never tried to covet the position of Head of the Johnson Family.

How could Arnold, such a capable man, just die like that?
