Chapter 1002 - 1002 Arnold Johnson is dead
Chapter 1002: Arnold Johnson is dead. Chapter 1002: Arnold Johnson is dead. Amelia Wilson never expected that another headline she’d see after her own scandal was about Arnold Johnson’s death.
The murderer who killed Arnold Johnson turned out to be her own sister, Victoria Garcia.
Suddenly, the Garcia Sisters’ news topped the Entertainment Circle and the financial headlines, with discussions reaching unprecedented levels of intensity.
When Henry Campbell appeared in front of Amelia Wilson, he found her skin and bones, her face devoid of vitality, exuding an air of desolate morbidity.
Seeing Henry Campbell before her stirred a bit of excitement in Amelia Wilson, and that excitement brought a hint of color to her pale face.
“Henry, you must hurry and tell me, you know the truth, right? What’s really going on with my sister? And what about Arnold Johnson?” Amelia Wilson no longer cared about her entanglement in the “Video Scandal”; all she wanted to know was where her sister was and what the truth of the matter was.
Henry Campbell came to see her not only to find out how she was faring but also to tell her some things to her face.
“Ava, things are looking pretty grim,” Henry began, trying to give Amelia Wilson a metaphorical sedative, hoping she would be able to handle what had happened.
Because of the recent events, Amelia Wilson had lost a lot of weight, her eyes larger than usual as they widened in distress.
“Grim? How grim? Arnold Johnson is really dead, and was it really my sister who killed him?” Amelia Wilson speculated, “No matter how much she resented Arnold Johnson, she wouldn’t kill him. It definitely wasn’t my sister.”
Amelia Wilson said with utter certainty, believing her sister just wasn’t that kind of person.
Henry Campbell stepped forward, crouched by her side, and spoke softly, “Arnold Johnson’s situation is pretty bad. To this day, no one knows whether he’s dead or not, but his disappearance is real, and your sister…”
“What about my sister? Tell me!” Amelia Wilson asked urgently.
Henry Campbell pursed his lips slightly before continuing, “But don’t worry, your sister hasn’t killed anyone. It’s just that she’s now mired in suspicion of killing Arnold Johnson. She can’t return to the country at all. The moment she steps foot in Metropolis, she will be arrested by the Police Station and could face the death penalty.”
“If my sister didn’t kill Arnold Johnson, why would they do this?”
Henry said, “Because they have evidence, evidence that proves your sister killed Arnold Johnson.”
“Evidence? What evidence? Who provided the evidence?” Amelia Wilson asked urgently.
Henry also felt a headache coming on from these issues, “The evidence includes your sister’s fingerprints on the murder weapon. The evidence was provided by Chloe Johnson. You should know how much she wants your sister dead. So now, she simply can’t come back. The moment she does, the situation would become utterly unmanageable.”
“So where is my sister now? Why can’t I ever get through to her phone? Can’t you let me talk to her? If I just knew she was okay, I would be at ease,” Amelia Wilson pleaded to Henry, now her only source of hope.
Henry dared not tell Amelia Wilson that Victoria was locked up in the International Women’s Prison; he feared she would collapse upon hearing it, with all the blows added up, it would be too much for her to bear.
Seeing her now emaciated, Henry felt there were some things she was better off not knowing, for the time being.
Even if Amelia Wilson were to know, she couldn’t solve any problems; it would only lead to more worries and more pain.
