"Young friend, is there something you need?" the Yuan Jun Taoist asked. He was now on a busy street, with many passing pedestrians. Even more peculiar, there were Immortals flying through the sky on swords.

Regrettably, Ye Jiu had no time to watch, "Immortal, this junior has an urgent matter and needs your help, I hope the Immortal can lend a hand."

"Oh? What is the matter, let’s hear it?" the Yuan Jun Taoist spoke kindly, looking at a glance like a friendly grandfather next door.

As he spoke, a pill appeared out of nowhere in the Yuan Jun Taoist’s palm, followed by a tiny creature about the size of a palm, which he handed to Ye Jiu, "Give me that small drum in your hand, then administer this pill to that young friend there."

Ye Jiu did not hesitate and handed over the small drum.

Upon receiving the small drum, the Yuan Jun Taoist merely sneered at it, and a fire burst forth from his hand, reducing the drum to ashes in an instant.

Meanwhile, Ye Jiu took out the pill and the tiny creature. Puzzled by the palm-sized fluffy ball in his hand, he wondered what use it could have.

But, since the Yuan Jun Taoist had sent it, it must be useful!

Ye Jiu placed it on the ground, then walked over to Sikong Mo and administered the pill to him.

Clearly, as soon as the pill was swallowed, something stirred in Sikong Mo’s chest.

With a splat,

a burst of black blood splattered out of a wound on Sekong Mou’s left chest onto the ground not far away.

Ye Jiu hurriedly looked, only to find, it was not black blood at all, but a black insect the size of a little finger, wriggling as it hit the ground.

"Ugh..."

Ye Jiu gagged.

Normally, seeing insects did not elicit such a strong reaction, but it was different when the insect had emerged from a human body.

Fortunately, the black insect did not thrash for long, as the Furry Ball Ye Jiu had just placed on the ground pounced and swallowed it whole.

Ye Jiu now understood the purpose of sending the Furry Ball along with the medicine, feeling exceptionally thankful for the old Taoist’s thoughtfulness.

However, he didn’t get a break, as more black insects, five in total, were expelled from Sikong Mo’s wound one after another and were swiftly devoured by the Furry Ball.

Ye Jiu noted that after eating the Poisonous Insects, the Furry Ball’s fur seemed even more lustrous, and then, adorably burped and rolled over next to the Trading Device and lay motionless.
