Chapter 421: 146. Traitor! In the name of the Grand Duke of Cui Si and Lord Morphy, your doom is coming!_3
"Charge, charge, charge!"
A group of novice gamers excitedly ran to the mill outside the village. Under the command of Wumeioge, they were arranged into formation. The first three shields were led by Orchid, who had the highest health, with the towering Bull Bull responsible for breaking down the door, and the nimble Three Five Battles acting as a secondary tank.
Wumeioge cast Thorn Skill on Orchid and waved his magic wand downwards.
Bull Bull immediately took a deep breath, sprinted a few steps, and then kicked the tightly closed wooden door of the mill. His power, boosted by 8 points and enhanced by his equipment, gave the kick an overwhelming force.
With a bang, the wooden door flew open, startling the crows inside the mill into a chaotic frenzy.
The two vampires hiding inside were caught off-guard as they were just waking up, and were viciously slammed against the wall by the three shields.
"They don’t even have a coffin for sleeping, how pathetic! Just looking at them, you can tell they’re noobs," said Three Five Battles, who couldn’t help but scoff. He was about to use his shield to suppress a vampire (who was frantically trying to escape) when a figure rushed past him, hitting the vampire squarely in the face and kicking it back into a pile of hay.
The aloof Sister Pomegranate unsheathed the three-clawed blade from her fist and pounced on the flustered vampire. The uproar startled the three shield holders who were left staring at each other.
Well, looking at the flying blood, one could tell that Sister Pomegranate was utterly furious.
It would be best not to disturb her right now.
The other vampire, sensing danger, tried to escape through a window at the top of the mill, despite the fact that it was midday and he risked being burnt by the sunlight.
When your life’s at stake, who cares about the sun?
However, as soon as he flew out, he was greeted by a volley of gunfire, causing his body to explode in more than a dozen bursts of bloody light.
Those who are able to be gunners are generally players who are good at shooting. Their levels were usually around 9-10, and they were considered highly skilled professionals. At this distance, missing their target was nearly impossible.
The poor vampire was shot to pieces in an instant. He tried to escape by transforming into a bat, but the alert Wumeioge and Cheche hit him with a blast of spiritual energy, and he fell to the ground, screeching in pain from the sunburn.
"Bang,"
Coo Coo Chicken, wielding a half-sword, rushed forward and stomped on the vampire’s chest with a harsh reprimand.
"Traitor! In the name of the Grand Duke of Cui Si and Earl Morphy! We will execute you with eternal silence!"
The vampire didn’t comprehend the otherworldly insults.
However, he inferred from the pronunciation of the names Cui Si and Morphy, and noticed the blood vulture pattern on their armor. He understood then that he was being hunted by the Blood Servants of his own clan.
In horror, he cried,
"No! I am loyal! Listen! Nordtof’s..."
"Whoosh"
The sharp half-sword of the vampire guard swiftly descended in a killing arc, severing most of his head and simultaneously silencing his words.
No Hands Needed to Show Off brandished a boning knife and skilfully excised the vampire’s heart, leaving a tragic stone statue standing eerily in its wake.
About a dozen seconds later, the stoic Sister Pomegranate, holding a Vampire Heart, walked out of the mill.
The execution was completed!
"Thud,"
Sister Pomegranate tossed a blood-stained badge to Wumeioge and said,
"This is not the badge of the Blood Vulture Clan. The person who contacted and recruited them is not from the Blood Vulture Clan but from another vampire clan... This could be a problem. Report it."
"Hmm?"
Wumeioge looked down at the blood-stained badge.
The emblem on the stony badge was a beautifully rendered night bat wrapped in night thorns and was not the blood vulture crest, further confirming the treasonous acts of these traitors.
But the Blood Vulture Clan has always ruled the Transylvania region, so where did these other clan vampires come from?
Meanwhile, at the entrance to the village, Miss Pailian watched with satisfaction as Lord Morphy’s warriors finished executing the treacherous vampires.
The full-bodied female merchant toyed with the luxurious Bloodstone Knight’s Ring on her finger, and whispered to the trembling middle-aged village head standing next to her:
"Look, that’s the fate of traitors! Earl Cardman is waiting at the Crimson Castle for your loyalty. If you dare not go, I can’t guarantee what will happen to you, my dear compatriot."
