This sudden strongman effortlessly slaughtered the elite vampires who had been hacking at them as if chopping vegetables.

This was some serious power.

Just from his effortless show of strength, it looked as if this guy was stronger than Sir Morphy and the Mistress.

He did not seem to have been part of their NPC faction.

The mentally questionable strongman NPC urged the three players to follow him incessantly.

The student group, thinking they must have triggered some hidden plot, obediently followed, winding their way through several disguised walls until they were lead to a deep hall with a sealed door. He instructed them to enter immediately.

"Hide in there! Don’t come out!"

The strongman NPC stood like a statue in front of the door with his large sword in both hands. Strewn beside him were color-faded stone statues, the bodies of at least dozens of executed vampires.

His deep, raspy voice came out from under his mask, saying:

"I will notify you once it’s safe, and you won’t be harmed before I fall. It’s my duty as a protector! GO IN!"

The three little players looked at each other.

They were a little confused about what this NPC was up to, but they also worried that not entering would anger him, so they pushed open the door behind them and walked in.

But in the next instant, all three of them were stunned in their tracks.
