Chapter 1311: 443. The Heiress’s Strategy in Dog Planner’s Copy Design - Additional Release [10/25]

(For "Jade Little Wheat" brother’s extra update [5/5])

The little players’ series of discussions generated on the forums due to this "situational report" were all observed by Murphy, and he was satisfied with the analysis the players had come up with. At the same time, he marveled at how the talent pool within his "database" continued to grow.

Although the fact that the old company commander took the initiative to contribute to the development of Transylvania was somewhat disconcerting, given the impending Black Disaster, Murphy had too many ways to convince himself to accept this "kindness" with a clear conscience.

At least until Maxim, the commanding general, matured, these old veterans who marched in alien worlds, trained solely in the mode of "major power conflict, conventional warfare," were absolutely handy to use. Even better, they had the genes of guerrilla warfare etched in their bones.

Murphy didn’t even need them to be particularly diligent; by placing these professionals into commanding positions in his team, he could instantly elevate the organizational level of his own army by several magnitudes.

Now, the factions that would participate in the Swamp Battle had already been instructed by Murphy to give quests to guide the little players into the swamp. Judging by their speed of clearing the surrounding Skeleton Army, Murphy and his "dev team" had about a week to finalize the campaign progression pattern for this battle.

To put it plainly, they needed to define the "combat mechanics" for the Pestilence Town raid instance.

In the battles within the swamp, Murphy did not plan to employ the Cadman People’s Army, which was still in training, as a supporting force. These soldiers, recruited from both the Armed Blood Servants and civilians, lacked the necessary training, and Transylvania’s self-produced firearms were not yet fully equipped. In Murphy’s view, they needed to step up their training.

Not to mention the Winged Cavalry.

The swamp was certainly not their favored terrain; given the weight of the Winged Cavalry, with both rider and horse armored, maintaining normal speed once in the swamp was a luxury.

Therefore, due to the terrain, the battle was the players’ "home field" from the get-go.

In Murphy’s most optimistic estimation, he expected to need to provide no more than a supply of materials and a few high-level NPCs for this battle. The rest could be fully led by the players, which would also serve as an opportunity to see the combat prowess the talent-amplified players could unleash when faced with the vicious Jackal Warlocks.

This could also be considered the final "combat capability test" before the Black Disaster, to determine the players’ role in Transylvania’s military system and the most suitable duties they would assume during the Black Disaster.

With these thoughts in mind, Murphy casually left Blood Vulture Corridor and, under the guidance of Spirit Vulture Revno, flew swiftly into the evening twilight to the young lady’s current location.

That is, the "Mage Tower" situated between Smugglers’ Forest and the Torrent Castle stronghold.

In the past few days, the young lady had been stationed here.

On one hand, to prevent the Wolf People of the Pestilence Clan from entering Transylvania again through Smugglers’ Forest, and on the other hand, to oversee the workers of the Stonemason Association decorate her Mage Tower with intricate details.

Oh, right.

The Mage Tower had been decreed by the young lady to be named "Red Devil Hall," which was also the name of her own Spiritual Energy organization that she was forming.

Although this name originated from a trolling suggestion on the forums, the young lady was quite fond of it.

Especially after learning the origin of the name, she liked it even more.

To be honest, Murphy also found this somewhat extravagant name quite suitable for the place, at the very least much better than his proposed "Aurora Magic Society of the Far East" or "Supreme Mage Karmathes" or the like.

"Why is it still so quiet around here?" Murphy asked, his "super speed" allowing him to quickly arrive at his destination.

Due to the urgency, he had practically zoomed over at supersonic speed and, with a graceful posture, flipped through the high tower’s window into the room, only to see the young lady lying in a rocking chair, covered with a blanket, looking at something with a Calculating Pearl in her hand.

Just this posture alone bore some resemblance to Triss when she was being a lazybones. Indeed, the Duke of the Blood Vulture Clan had successfully led a group of people astray with his layabout style.

This is truly an unfortunate domestic affair.

The place where Phemys was couldn’t be more shabby, truth be told. Although the Stonemason Brothers’ workers had renovated it considerably in the past few days, the lack of carpets, chandeliers, and extravagant decorations, not even big tables or wooden cabinets, made the place look nothing like the majestic Mage Tower it ought to be.

It resembled a pitiful "beggar’s hut," with Highness Phemys the little beggar dwelling within.

Facing Murphy’s teasing, the young lady snorted, flipped her wrist to hide the pearl in her sleeve, and stood up from the rocking chair, which the players had "offered" as a tribute. She stood with her hands on hips, full of dignity, and said:

"What brings you, such a busy man, to my place? And my place isn’t even finished yet. Once the final embellishments are done, I’ll be able to move everything from Blood Vulture Corridor over here.

By that time, my ’Red Devil Hall’ will definitely become the best and most splendid Mage Tower in Transylvania!"

"I absolutely believe that. I may doubt the young lady’s strength, but I can never doubt the young lady’s taste."
