Chapter 721 - 721: *[Optional Quest]*

Atlas was aware that he needed to continue absorbing the black particles, but the mere thought of Lena being in danger caused him to hesitate. When Lena placed her hand on his arm, he could feel her pure and radiant energy, which not only reassured him but also reminded him that he still had a life to save.

He then redoubled his efforts to absorb the black particles as quickly as possible. Despite having full faith in Tarik, Isaac, and Lanis—two of the first Warrior Spirits and an elite soldier of Miguel—he still preferred to protect Lena himself.

But just as the tension reached its peak, Kevin and Axel appeared, and the golden portal vanished instantly.

Although Tarik, Isaac, and Lanis were surprised to see them, they immediately deactivated their Stage 2 because the aura of power emanating from Axel could not be copied, no matter what.

Elias then called out to Kevin, surprised that he had come, while the others welcomed them, "Son? What are you doing here? Did someone call you?"

Kevin approached the force field and replied, "Hey, Dad! No, nobody called me; I just had this bad feeling about you that I couldn't shake, so Axel ended up opening a portal to ease my fears… but apparently, I wasn't mistaken; the atmosphere was quite tense upon our arrival."

Axel then said, easily opening a passage through Atlas's force field as if it were his own, "Go ahead, babe! This man seems to mean a lot to them; I can feel their anxiety. Use your Stage 3; he is really in bad shape… Besides, there are other creatures that will need your help; you will feel them once your Stage 3 is activated."

Of course, this time no black particles passed through the passage that Axel had opened, as they were all decimated the moment they approached it.

Kevin fully trusted Axel, so he activated his Stage 3 before crossing to the other side. The sound of his system echoed as usual in his mind, and various messages appeared instantly right before his eyes.

Kevin then said to Elias, while approaching Johan to help circulate the divine-grade healing potion through his meridians, which should be enough to save him, "Dad, we have a big problem; in exactly 5 minutes, this world is going to explode!"

"What?" was the only response Elias could give, as he hadn't expected this.

Kevin explained, "We need to find its core; there has to be a problem with it."

He added, "The system wants Axel and me to handle this mission, but my Stage 3 can only last 5 minutes, and 13 people need urgent care that I'm not sure I can provide with my Stage 2."

Elias then said, activating his Stage 2 to observe how Kevin was saving Johan, "Don't worry about the prisoners; I will give them first aid, and with Lena, we will manage to save them or keep them alive until Miguel arrives."

He told him without hesitation, "Son, go save this world; I'll take care of the rest."

Normally, it was Miguel who handled such problems, but since he was a god, he could use divine energy and replicate what Kevin was doing to save Johan.

It was no surprise that he had to use his Stage 3 to accomplish this. He was channeling divine energy directly into Johan's body to help the potion spread through his meridians, not just his veins. The difference was immediate. If the potion remained confined to the veins, only a small portion of the meridians would be repaired, while the black particles within them would cause further damage once the potion's effects wore off.

As Kevin infused divine energy and guided the potion through Johan's meridians, all the black particles were obliterated, allowing the meridians to regain their strength once again.

Once Johan's condition was stabilized, Kevin waved his hand and destroyed all the black particles still in the room and in the walls; then he and Axel vanished simultaneously.

Seeing that there were no more black particles, Atlas removed his force field, and Elias picked Johan up in his arms and said to those present, "Let's go join Jordan and Roman; 13 creatures urgently need us!"

They all used the prison dimension to teleport where Jordan and Roman were dealing with the deadly trap set by Lilith, and Roman's attention faltered as he spotted Johan unconscious in Elias's arms.

Immediately, Elias reassured him, "Don't worry; he's alive and has been healed by my adoptive son. I promise, he just needs to rest now."

Though still anxious, Roman nodded in acknowledgment. Observing his worry, Atlas said to him, "Go see for yourself; I can handle this for you."

"Thank you, Atlas," Roman replied, hurrying to Elias's side to confirm that his oldest friend was truly okay.

As Roman breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing that his friend was safe, the cells lining the passage began to open one by one. Meanwhile, anguished screams of torment and pain echoed from the creatures inside them.

Jordan quickly reassured them, "The black particles have been eliminated in this section. You can go and heal them right away."
