This novel has a slow start, the mc is naive and well kinda pathetic, but that's what makes his character development so satisfying. Watching him go from essentially a fool to a ruthless warrior, its fucking delicious.

what i also like is the fact is that the author made sure to address the mc's stupidity in his early days of using the system, another character (you'll learn why they know about the system) basically calls the mc out on it. Calls him stupid and he acknowledges that, which is good.

I stack chapters from this novel and read them in one go, so i cant tell you much about the early days but simply put the mc is a scheming type.

The mc's plans are really well-written as well as the fight scenes.

character interactions are fucking peak, and the mc's psychological battle with himself really makes him real. he may have become ruthless but that doesnt mean it didnt come without a cost.

Good novel, mc is cold and abit annoying at the start because of his past however he develops and becomes better further 

Similarities with shadow slave so if u like ss it will be a good read
