At 7 p.m., Lu Weixi glanced at her watch, slightly furrowed her brows, and looked up to see Qin Zhigu, Paul, and the construction representative across the table, but she didn’t speak.

Although she only had Qin Zhigu’s project, Qin Zhigu was exceptionally strict when it came to work. Paul was even more so; he worked extremely hard, so much that because of his intensity, no one in America wanted to work with him. This guy could go insane with work and stay up for 72 hours straight without sleep.

The old Lu Weixi could keep up with them, even outlast them, and work harder. But now it was different; she was carrying something extra in her belly.

It’s really strange how people change. Before getting pregnant and during the initial realization of her pregnancy, Lu Weixi felt no anticipation for the little one inside her. Qin Zhigu hadn’t spoken yet, but Paul just laughed, "Of course, the several plans we proposed before have taken wind resistance and earthquake resistance into account. There will absolutely be no issues."

He yawned and glanced at his watch, "It’s eleven o’clock already."
