He had committed many sins in the past, and he didn’t know what effect the future struggles with his family and the confrontations with Zhongtian would bring. Maybe he would lose everything, perhaps he could be ruined, or even bring her threats and harm. He was fearless when alone, but with her, she became his Achilles’ heel.
