Chapter 1207: Chapter 1209: Heaven Decreed (7) Chapter 1207: Chapter 1209: Heaven Decreed (7) Qin Zhiyou only saw the little sugar figurine trace an arc in the air before it smashed decisively onto the ground, shattering into pieces. The owner of the sugar figurine, a child with a round, plump face, initially looked a bit surprised and pained. Tears welled up in his large eyes, yet he did not cry.

His stubborn expression pierced straight into Qin Zhiyou’s heart. Coincidentally, a group of kids playing with roller skates stopped abruptly. The leader squinted at them and, with two fingers, pulled the corners of his eyes to elongate them.

Having lived abroad, Qin Zhiyou knew this gesture was discriminatory, a mockery of the small eyes of East Asians, an insult directed at them.

Even though it was these kids who were in the wrong, they were still yelling triumphantly, their faces smug–Qin Zhiyou couldn’t stand it!

He was already feeling incredibly frustrated, harboring a fire within him. The ongoing divorce battle between his parents, coupled with last night’s drama and the recent scare of nearly being kidnapped, boiled his anger over. He suddenly jumped up and threw a punch directly at the face of the leader. The boy, on roller skates, hadn’t anticipated Qin Zhiyou’s sudden charge. Caught off guard, he stumbled and fell heavily to the ground.

Qin Zhiyou pounced, straddling the boy and started punching without hesitation. Although the boy was bigger, having fallen and then pinned down, he had no strength to fight back.

His friends, initially shocked, also joined in, kicking and punching. Qin Zhiyou didn’t care; he took their hits. For each hit he received, he delivered a reciprocating blow onto the face and body of the boy beneath him!

Most surprising was the little girl who, after being initially knocked down, got up furiously. She was small and not very strong, but after glancing around, she simply picked up a rock. Whomever dared hit Qin Zhiyou, she’d hurl the rock at them! Luckily, since the children were on roller skates, they lost their balance from her throws and fell down one after another.

With nothing to worry about from behind, Qin Zhiyou fought even more fiercely. Even at his young age, his relentless pounding was painful–at least to the boy beneath him, who wailed and screamed.

This was a busy district, yet the sight of children brawling didn’t cause much of a stir and was soon broken up by adults.

The roller-skating kids, each having been beaten badly, quickly fled once separated by the adults. But two remained, especially the little girl who didn’t understand English. Seeing Qin Zhiyou bruised and dirty, she threw down her rock, grabbed his arm, and was on the verge of tears.

Especially concerning was Qin Zhiyou’s lower lip, which might have been hurt during the fight, showing a deep cut from which blood trailed down his chin. Combined with his defiant expression and the bruises, his appearance was particularly pitiful.

Just before, she hadn’t cried when her sugar figurine broke, but seeing Qin Zhiyou bleeding, she cried, “Your mouth is bleeding.”

Qin Zhiyou didn’t say a word, but when the adults came over to ask what happened, he calmly and nonchalantly said, “It’s nothing, our parents are nearby. My sister and I came out to buy candy, and they will be here soon.”
