Fortunately for Fang Rushuang, she had luck on her side; after all, her engagement to Qin Zhiyou had not been made public back then. Although the three did not engage in any overt confrontations and even wore smiles, appearing gentle and modest, the barrage of comments and many relatives and friends at the wedding had already imagined a grand drama unfolding.

The hall was set up like a fashion runway with a giant floral arch at the entrance, the walkway extending all the way to the stage.

“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the wedding of Mr. Qin Zhizha and Miss Cai Yiren,” Liu Yiyi said.

Liu Yiyi truly had a strong spirit; despite her previously dismal career struggles, she was still able to put on a composed face and host the wedding, “Now, I have the honor on behalf of the bride and groom to introduce the visiting guests. When the camera panned to him, Qin Zhiyou was sitting with his legs crossed, leaning back in his chair, a slight smile curling his lips. He was seated facing Lu Weixi’s direction, and though he wasn’t too close and hadn’t said much to her, from a psychological perspective, it was clear he sided with his wife.

Following Qin Zhiyou were Qin Weijian, Qin Zhigu, and Qin Zhimei. As their mother, Qin Weijia was not included in the introductions. The bride’s side was then introduced, only mentioning Cai Yiren’s mother and uncle from the Cai Family. Due to the numerous guests, only one or two prominent representatives from each family were highlighted; someone like Lu Weixi was essentially overlooked and not mentioned.

After mentioning relatives and friends, the list of celebrities was somewhat more comprehensive, with almost all of the well-known individuals being called out by name.

Once the introductions were complete, the auspicious time for the ceremony was nearly upon them. First to enter was Qin Zhizha with his groomsmen, leading the way to the center of the stage, with his groomsmen lined up beside him, like stars surrounding the moon.

When the wedding officially started, the spotlight turned to the distant floral arch, and Bai Changyou and Cai Yiren stepped into the public view, his arm entwined with hers.

The wedding march began, and following Bai Changyou and Cai Yiren were Bai Weiyi and another adorable flower girl from a different family, one to the left and one to the right, baskets in hand. They were dressed in outfits similar to the bride and groom’s, just scaled down, walking along and scattering flower petals.

Behind the flower girls came the six bridesmaids invited by Cai Yiren, led by Fang Rushuang and Du Sui.

Additionally, possibly intentionally, Liu Yiyi said during her intro, “The bride Cai Yiren is walking towards us, arm-in-arm with her father, Bai Changyou.
