“No need, I’m not here for the wedding. I’m here to find someone.”

Though Fang Rushuang had been a classmate of Du Sui for many years, she had never met her cousin. She was a bit stunned when she saw Zhao Zihao, “And who might this be?”

Zhao Zihao merely smiled and nodded at her, then walked away in a different direction. Luckily, Fang Rushuang wasn’t the talkative type. Despite finding it odd, she did not inquire further.

Soon both women entered the venue as the wedding was about to start. The wedding was as bustling as an evening party and even started with the lights out.

The guests were already seated, and the reporters were getting into position. Du Sui’s tardiness had slightly disrupted the schedule, but Cai Yiren didn’t dare reprimand her. Her younger boyfriend was somewhat anxious, fearing she had disappeared to run off with Huang Mi. He felt relieved only after spotting her.

Their occasional whispering and private conversations screened on the display, portrayed the imagery of an enviable romance.

Not just for show, Xue Feifei occasionally spoke with Huang Mi on the side. However, compared to her intimacy with Yu Sixing, her interactions with Huang Mi were far more restrained. At that point, any negative comments about their close relationship would have been readily challenged by the crowd. When detractors later tried to slander Xue Feifei, even Huang Mi’s fans came to her defense, but of course, that’s a story for another time.

But as they flaunted their love, their display caused mixed feelings not just among the onlookers behind the screens but also among several groups there in person. First were the Yu Family members, who never had any fondness for Xue Feifei. Yu Sixing’s decision to attend with Xue Feifei, instead of them, naturally didn’t sit well with them.
