My Crush Also Has a Crush on Me!
Chapter 197: Moving Out to Live

Chapter 197: Chapter 197: Moving In Together

In the deep of the night, everyone in the tent had fallen asleep, but Fu Ying couldn’t by Shen Liguang’s side.

She suddenly thought of something and asked him, "How about Auntie?"

"She left that morning to visit her hometown."

Fu Ying breathed a sigh of relief.

"Sleep now. In a few days, there will be a relief vehicle leaving, and we’ll follow it back."

Fu Ying looked up at him: "How long? School has already started."

"That’s okay, you’re a special case," Shen Liguang gently patted the blanket over her, trying to soothe her to sleep, "If you can’t keep up with the studies later, I’ll tutor you."

"I’m studying Chinese Language and Literature."

Shen Liguang ’tsk’ed and frowned, turned over, and kissed her forehead, "Go to sleep."

Fu Ying curled up in her blanket and obediently said, "Okay."

Several days later, they headed back to Jiazhou City early in the morning. In the car, Li Guang charged his phone a bit, and as soon as he received a signal, calls started coming in immediately.

Upon connecting, Li Ruolan on the other end was crying her eyes out.

After learning about the earthquake at her son’s location, Li Ruolan had been worried and sleepless for days and nights.

She couldn’t accept anything happening to her eldest son, no matter what.

Li Ruolan took a deep breath, sat on the bed wiping her tears, and kept murmuring, "It’s good as long as he’s alright, it’s good as long as he’s alright."

Shen Liguang spent a long time comforting Li Ruolan before hanging up.

Fu Ying was feeling carsick, and had already fallen asleep in his arms. The bus was crowded, and there weren’t enough seats, so Shen Liguang held Fu Ying in his lap, freeing up a seat for someone standing.

Perhaps it’s during times of adversity that people’s hearts are most fragile.

The person given the seat saw Shen Liguang making room for him and said "thank you," his voice tinged with a sob.

A big man crying has never been a matter of shame; on the contrary, it proves they are alive with feelings.

Shen Liguang looked down at the girl in his arms, kissed the tip of her nose, and turned to look out the window.

The entire city was still not open to traffic, and the roads were uneven. The car rattled and bounced violently.

The little one in his arms shifted, leaning into him, and sleepily called out to him: "Brother."

Her voice was soft and gentle.

A man beside them asked, "Your sister?"

Shen Liguang smiled, "My wife."

...

Having stayed in City A for over half a month, the university in Jiazhou City had already started classes.

As soon as Fu Ying returned, she went to the school to explain her situation and then resumed normal life.

On her return day, she was scolded by Fu Mingchuan. Fu Ying had not informed her family when she left for City A, and Fu Mingchuan was completely unaware of it.

He too was fearful and anxious. A young girl sneaking off like that, what could she possibly do? It would be good enough if she didn’t cause trouble for others.

Fu Ying kept her head down, not saying a word.

In the end, seeing her like this, Fu Mingchuan sighed helplessly.

Fu Ying knew she had made him worry, and felt awfully guilty.

Wen Qing later eased the mood, "Li Guang has told us everything. Yingying didn’t cause any trouble when she went there—she didn’t just refrain from causing trouble, she even helped out. Now the child has returned safe and sound, why are you still upset?"

Fu Mingchuan: "I’m not upset, I..."

Fu Mingchuan paused, sighing deeply, "I’m worried about her. That fire back then already scared the life out of me, and this time she ran off to the earthquake zone to volunteer without telling the family. I support doing good deeds, but can’t she discuss it with the family first?"

Realizing her fault for not discussing with the family, Fu Ying knew she was wrong: "Dad, it was my mistake not to discuss with the family. It won’t happen again."

Hearing his daughter’s sincere apology, Fu Mingchuan’s temper immediately dissipated.

"What if there were aftershocks?"

Fu Ying kept her head down, silent.

Wen Qing spoke up, "Okay, let’s eat. Everyone’s safe, and we’re all back. You’ve already done the scolding, how much longer will you be upset? Are we not eating dinner tonight?"

"Let’s eat," Fu Mingchuan sighed, his heart softening towards his daughter. He was never really upset with her, just worried.

Downstairs, Shen Liguang could guess that the little girl, following Fu Mingchuan with her head down, had probably snuck off to City A and just been scolded by Fu Mingchuan.

"Sorry, Li Guang, for making you wait so long, let’s eat now."

Shen Liguang nodded: "Uh, I apologize, Uncle Fu, Yingying was because of me..."

Fu Mingchuan interrupted: "My daughter didn’t go to A City for you. Her aspirations are not in love. Young people nowadays should think about more than just love."

Shen Liguang nodded and smiled: "I know, she has a good heart."

Fu Ying looked up at Shen Liguang, pressed her lips together, and then quietly looked down.

At the dinner table, Fu Mingchuan kept adding food to Fu Ying’s plate.

During the more than half a month in the earthquake disaster zone, all Fu Ying had was instant noodles and bread, so she became much thinner.

"These are all made by Aunt Wen, eat more."

Fu Ying nodded; Fu Mingchuan helped her with the food, and in the end, whatever she couldn’t finish she gave to Shen Liguang.

He didn’t mind.

"Dad, where’s my older brother?"

"He went to prepare disaster relief supplies."

"..." Fu Ying bit her chopsticks and nodded.

Fu Mingchuan has been doing good deeds these past years, donating goods and money during two flood disasters, and the same with this earthquake, including funding several Hope Primary Schools.

It’s just contributing a little bit of what one can.

In the evening, seeing that Shen Liguang was not convenient to walk, Fu Mingchuan didn’t let him go back and arranged for him to stay in the elder brother’s room.

Having not slept well for more than half a month, Fu Ying felt sleepy after having dinner and taking a bath, and soon after climbing into bed.

As soon as she closed her eyes, she felt someone push the door and come in; in her confusion, someone kissed her.

The last kiss landed on her forehead, and then she heard the door close.

...

After resuming normal life, her elder brother came back, covered in dust and weary. The family prepared a table full of delicious food to receive and refresh him. He then took a break for a while, spending a two-person world with Xia Jinyun at home.

Li Ruolan also returned to Jiazhou City from his hometown, and the two families met and had a meal.

In the evening, after her bath, Fu Ying bowed her head and wrote her Chinese Language and Literature homework.

Shen Li was absent-mindedly staring at his book, his gaze drifting towards Fu Ying from time to time, unable to focus on a single word.

The girl was serious about her homework, lying on the coffee table, lifting her hand to brush back her falling bangs, focused and dedicated.

"I have something to say."

Without looking up, Fu Ying nodded noncommittally: "Hmm... Brother, you say."

The little girl’s focus was entirely on her book, paying only distracted attention to him.

Shen Li threw away the book, reached out and lifted the little thing off the ground.

Fu Ying was panicking: "Brother, what are you doing?"

"What do you think?" Shen Li tilted his mouth and leaned close to her ear.

Fu Ying’s ear was sensitive, and she shivered involuntarily.

His dark eyes deepened, his kiss landed on her lips, and Fu Ying was forced to tilt her head back to bear his breath, tangled, the man’s greed intense.

Fu Ying panted, her hands pressing against his chest as she protested in a soft voice: "I need to do my homework."

"Move in with me."

"I have to tell my dad first."

"We are already married."

"Still, I should tell him."

"Tell him tomorrow."

Fu Ying nodded in agreement: "Okay, but let go of me, I need to do my homework."

"We’ll do it later." He was passionate, kissing her while undressing her.

Fu Ying’s eyes were misty, and she weakly called out to him, "Brother, with your leg like that, can you not be restless for a while?"

"It won’t get in the way."

His voice becoming hoarser, Fu Ying softened on the couch.
