My Cat Has Superpower?!
Chapter 84 - 83: Meeting the Alien

Chapter 84: Chapter 83: Meeting the Alien

"Sss, sss, sss."

The alien creature Lu Zixun had dealt with reeked of blood, quickly attracting other aliens.

Looking at the wounds on this alien creature.

Another larger-bodied alien stepped forward and said coldly, "These should be claw marks from some beast; the boss mentioned that an Orange Cat has sneaked in."

"Orange Cat?"

Another alien pondered for a moment before saying, "That cat that follows the Blood Worm Queen around, why would it help the livestock of sto?"

"Have you forgotten the ’Infernal Affairs’ we watched just recently?"

With a cold snort, the alien standing beside added, "Block the safe stairways on each floor and the main entrance. Have the Eye Worms watch the windows and wait for the boss to arrive."

"Yes!"

After the surrounding aliens responded, they transformed into birds and beasts and scattered in all directions.

"The third one."

Lu Zixun, gasping for breath, felt somewhat dizzy.

These aliens were as strong as him; killing them in one hit required his full concentration.

Otherwise, if they managed to send out a distress signal, Lu Zixun would be in danger.

He turned and ran to the restroom to wash the blood off his paws before exchanging for a Nine Swords Combined Pill from the system.

He donned the Invisibility Cloak and headed toward the safe stairway.

When he arrived at the safety corridor, Lu Zixun’s cat face took on a grave expression.

The aliens had used their bodies to completely block the stairwell, making it impassable.

Even clad in the Invisibility Cloak, he would be detectable through physical contact.

In such a situation, Lu Zixun had no way to return to the fifteenth floor without attracting the aliens’ attention.

At this point, Lu Zixun felt some remorse.

After killing those aliens, he should have destroyed the corpses thoroughly, avoiding this awkward situation.

After watching for a while, Lu Zixun decisively gave up the idea of using the safety corridor.

These aliens, like brainless creatures, lay on the ground motionless letting others climb over them.

Seeing that the safety corridor was no longer an option, Lu Zixun raised his paw to his chin, pondering how to get back to the fifteenth floor.

After thinking for a while, Lu Zixun suddenly had an idea.

The safety corridor was still viable; it just might require a more cumbersome method.

He purposely ran to a corner and looked around.

Seeing no Abnormal Creatures, he enlarged his body and activated Infinite Strength, slapping the ceiling above him.

"Boom!"

With a thunderous noise, Lu Zixun smashed a hole through the sixteenth-floor ceiling, reaching the seventeenth floor.

But Lu Zixun didn’t jump down; instead, he shrank his body and hid in the corner, proceeding slowly towards the safety corridor.

He understood the strategy of creating a diversion; his first trial today had been quite fruitful.

The aliens that had been blocking the safety corridor were all running toward the source of the noise.

Numerous aliens rushed past Lu Zixun, who remained exceptionally calm.

The safety corridor, which had been previously jam-packed, was now completely empty.

Lu Zixun leisurely made his way to the fifteenth floor and returned to the storage room via the original route.

"Attacked?"

Xiong Kang looked at Lu Zixun and asked laboriously.

"I used a little trick. Indeed, it pays off to be well-read."

"I’m a cat who plays with brains!"

Thinking of how he’d tricked those aliens, Lu Zixun said with self-satisfaction, "These aliens aren’t as intelligent as you guys made them out to be."

Lu Zixun slightly closed his eyes, a faint smile curling the corners of his mouth, "That’s not exactly right. I can only say that your intelligence is just a tiny bit higher than an Alien’s. Why don’t you go play with Tan Ye and see?"

So he was saying he was better than nothing.

Lu Zixun’s whiskers quivered twice; even at a time like this, Xiong Kang couldn’t resist throwing a couple of venomous jabs his way.

From the System Space, he pulled out a Nine Swords Combined Pill and held it in his paw.

Lu Zixun leaped forward and landed beside Xiong Kang, playfully patting the wound on his abdomen.

"Hiss... you little bastard..."

Before he could finish his sentence, Lu Zixun slapped the elixir from his paw into Xiong Kang’s mouth.

Xiong Kang, who nearly choked to death, was about to strangle this little bastard Lu Zixun when his expression suddenly changed.

A warm sensation emanated from the Dantian, and the wounds on his body also began to slowly heal.

Before Xiong Kang could take it all in, a burst of sharp pain came from his abdomen.

Lu Zixun’s tail coiled around the blade and yanked it harshly outwards, causing the blood to spurt out instantly.

The scent of blood filled the entire storage room.

Lu Zixun, who was slightly slow to dodge, almost got doused in Xiong Kang’s blood.

Looking at Xiong Kang’s exceptionally pale face, Lu Zixun felt a secret thrill, calling him out for his usual sharp tongue.

"People say to have a broad heart and a fat body, but not only are you fat as a cat, you’re also petty!"

Knowing that Lu Zixun was deliberately seeking revenge, Xiong Kang spoke these words with a tremble.

"Good that you know."

Not hiding it at all, Lu Zixun admitted openly and patted Xiong Kang on the shoulder, "You’d better recover quickly; the Alien is about to come over."

Xiong Kang, who understood Lu Zixun’s intentions, felt the energy continuously surging inside and, without delay, closed his eyes with a shocked expression and began to heal.

Yawning lazily, Lu Zixun grew in size and stood guard in front of Xiong Kang.

His eyes were cold as he stared at the storage room door, claws popping out from his paw pads, ready to strike at any moment.

Soon, the rustling sound of Aliens approached from outside the door.

Lu Zixun’s heart sank as he pricked up his ears to the noise outside.

He thought to himself, if only he hadn’t played the big bad wolf; it would have been better to find a new spot to recover with Xiong Kang.

Glancing back at Xiong Kang, Lu Zixun sighed silently; it was too late for regrets now, he had to... kill.

"Bang!"

The storage room’s metal door was pierced and toppled by the sharp tail of an Alien.

Using the dust kicked up by the door as cover, Lu Zixun activated Flash’s speed and rushed out.

His claws tore through an Alien in front of him, and his tail flung another approaching Alien away.

At the same moment, Lu Zixun used Magnetic Field Control to shred the collapsed metal door into a barrage of metal needles.

Like a violent storm, they thrusted towards the Aliens, leaving them nowhere to dodge, slaughtering this batch of invading Aliens.

Lu Zixun, engaging in Three-in-One, exhaled a white mist from his mouth, his chest heaving up and down.

Although this attack was supremely effective, it also placed a huge strain on Lu Zixun.

Gazing at the continuous prompt sounds from the system, Lu Zixun narrowed his eyes.

He absolutely couldn’t miss the Awakening Fruit he had seen earlier in the Mall.

"Ding—Killing Intent Value from Ye Xun +2000 detected."

A surge of killing intent locked onto Lu Zixun from outside the window, making his hair stand on end; he didn’t hesitate to activate Steel Body.

The blood-colored spear shattered the glass, its piercing edge aiming straight for Lu Zixun.

Instantly, alarms went off in Lu Zixun’s mind.

He had a premonition that his Steel Body might not withstand Ye Xun’s blood-colored spear.

In a split second, Lu Zixun slammed his paw onto the ground.

The entire cat fell through the hole, plummeting to the fourteenth floor.
