Chapter 629: Chapter 599: Firepower VS Firepower

The girl hadn’t yet grasped what the rabbit meant when it darted forward and bellowed, "Halt! You’re surrounded!"

The players running ahead heard this roar and subconsciously looked back, only to see a plump rabbit standing with hands on hips, squinting at them.

"Rabbit... Rabbit!"

"Rabbit! The rabbit is behind us!"

"The rabbit is coming!"

"Rabbit!"

...

The scene instantly descended into chaos; the previously invincible feeling, battle-charged player army scattered in all directions, retreating one after another.

Up front, Zhou Yun and others had already spotted the weasels not far away, but before they could react or say anything, a series of exclamations came from behind!

Zhou Yun said, "I don’t believe it, how could that rabbit get here? The system stated that all BOSSes are bound to specific areas..."

While speaking, Zhou Yun looked up at the Yellow Skin King, who replied with a look of grievance, "Don’t look at me, it was the rabbit’s decision to switch mountains. This mountaintop is now under its control... I’m... just watching."

After confirming the news through the Yellow Skin King, Zhou Yun and the others felt a sudden sense of dread; they thought that by avoiding the mountain where the rabbit resided, they could also avoid the rabbit.

They never expected the rabbit to actually follow them!

"Brother Zhou, what do we do?" The tone of Giant Stone’s voice trembled a bit; the image of the rabbit’s unstoppable rampage was still flashing through his mind...

Zhou Yun said, "Gentlemen, I need you to hold it back for me! I still have a divine being to summon, which might give us a chance!"

At that moment, even Zhou Yun dared not boast; after all, that rabbit was beyond comprehension.

Should he summon another one that the rabbit could counter or an old friend of the rabbit’s, it would be utterly humiliating.

Hence, Zhou Yun mentioned there was a chance but never uttered the certainty of victory.

Giant Stone said, "Alright, we’ll buy you time; hurry up."

Fire Spirit said, "Everyone, attack together, don’t let it defeat us one by one. Avoid direct confrontations at all costs; dragging out the time is what’s most important."

Sims said, "That makes sense, but I think we could send someone to negotiate with the rabbit first, to draw its attention... Brother Zhou can activate the formation..."

Everyone thought this was a solid plan...

However, before they had even decided who should go and negotiate with the rabbit to buy some time, a thunderous explosion sounded!

A Carrot Cloud erupted into the sky, blasting players into the air, then a Little Rabbit leaped excitedly into the sky, swinging a giant carrot down towards the crowd: "Experience Value, Experience Value, take my carrot!"

Boom!

Another Carrot Cloud rose...

"Rabbit, hold on! We have something to discuss!" Sims shouted.

But the response he received was a carrot flying towards him; Sims cried out in alarm and raised his hand to fire right at the carrot!

Boom!

The carrot exploded midair, flinging another group of players away.

"Forget the chat, let’s get to action!" Sims yelled, and all the players sprung into motion.

Vines broke through the soil in an attempt to entangle the rabbit, but the rabbit shattered them with punches, biting through them with ease. Wherever the rabbit went, its flailing arms swept players into the air; some spat out blood while others were blown to pieces on the spot...

"Use our numbers to our advantage, spread out! Hold him off!" ordered Sims. A group of mechanical players flew into the sky, unleashing rockets, laser cannons, and destructive beams at the rabbit, keeping their distance and avoiding getting too close. For some time, they actually managed to hold their ground.

"Kite him! Kite him!"

Sims cried out.

The Stone Giants in the distance picked up stones and hurled them toward the Rabbits, while Mud Sand Giants began to stir up the earth, creating Quicksand areas in an attempt to limit the Rabbits’ movement speed...

Ants burrowed out of the ground, and hornets charged toward the Rabbits like dark clouds, committing suicide to block his vision and disrupt his attack rhythm.

When players from myriad worlds joined forces, the Rabbit’s killing speed slowed down for a while.

"We’ve done it! Just like this, we stand a chance!" the Fire Spirit exclaimed excitedly.

"We have more people, more Skill Types, the advantage is ours, hold him off!" Sims shouted with excitement.

But when these words reached the Rabbit’s ears, he became displeased, "A lot of people? Advantage? Right, Laozi has my own people too!"

The Rabbit waved his little hand towards the sky discontentedly, "Rabbits, come forth!"

"Form up, divide and conquer! He only has a little over three hundred Big Rabbits, we can spread out and fight each one!" Sims called out.

Everyone looked up at the sky simultaneously, expecting the familiar Fireballs to appear; instead, a huge teleportation circle emerged, and then a Rabbit’s head poked out, "The boss is calling for us!"

"Brothers, it’s time to fight!"

"Boss, it’s time to fight! Stop attending classes! Let’s go!"

"Charge!"

"Roar!"

Then a horde of Big Rabbits rained down from the sky like a torrential downpour; at first, a few Rabbits crashed into the crowd, and just as everyone prepared to gang up on them, more Rabbits jumped down.

Some rode Wild Boars, some rode wolves, and some jumped down holding a chicken in the left hand and a Groundhog in the right...

The numbers kept growing.

"Oh my god, what kind of creature have we provoked?" Sims and the others were dumbstruck.

"Positional warfare, positional warfare! Retreat quickly!" Sims reacted swiftly, his mechanical brain rapidly processing all the data and making the right choice, "Giant Stones, block them! Mechanical players transform into Heavy Cannons, blast those Rabbits to death!

Other players, get on the Giant Stone walls!"

The players sprang into action, calling various giants together to form a massive hundred-meter-tall fortress wall, while the Mud Sand Giants formed a Quicksand moat in front of the wall.

The players rushed onto the walls, and the Mechanical players, now as Heavy Cannons, opened fire collectively at the enemies outside the wall, bombarding away with a barrage of cannonfire landing amidst the Rabbits, causing them to cuss as they were blown into the air.

"They didn’t die?!" Sims could hardly believe what he was seeing.

He immediately used his Identification Skill on the Rabbits, and indeed they were all Eight-Rank, two to three-star beings, no stronger than the players themselves.

Logically, these kind of low-level creatures should’ve been wiped out by the most powerful attack of the Mechanical players, the Heavy Cannons, with just one concentrated barrage.

But these Rabbits were only blasted away, tumbling over before standing back up again.

Despite their health bars being emptied, they ate a Carrot and stood back up at full health...

"How is this possible?" Sims was shocked.

Giant Stone said, "There’s something wrong with these Rabbits."

Sims replied, "They must have some sort of lifesaving method, no matter, keep bombarding! I don’t believe they can stay Invincible forever!

Let them witness the firepower of the Mechanical World, saturating coverage!

Fire away!"

"Boom, Boom, Boom..."

Countless shells streaked across the sky, heading straight for the cluster of Rabbits.

Meanwhile, a swarm of bees soared into the air, followed by a large number of avian and beast players, as various Fireballs, Ice Cones, downpours, and Wind Blades fell from the sky, cutting down towards the Rabbits and others.
