Chapter 77: 063. Master of Fire Arch Li Aozi
"What on earth happened outside? Why is someone attacking us?"
"I don’t know, a car just rushed over—shit! Where did that rocket come from!"
"Get down! With this kind of firepower, could it be the warlord!?"
Buzzing...
The beast-like growling of the Frost Plated riot vehicle’s engine roared from afar, and faster than the vehicle itself were the rockets tearing across the sky.
Nimotin leaned out, standing on the roof of the car, casually lifted her left hand, her forearm split and extended into a rifle, and she accurately targeted and eliminated the White Fang Guild bandits fleeing in all directions.
"Agent Yawen’s tracker was thrown around here, if the Empire dogs are involved, they won’t get far—blow them up first, release the smoke, and trap them inside so they dare not come out,"
Nimotin had lost a few vehicles to Leo last time and let someone escape right under her eyes, and had already lost the mind to capture him alive.
Besides, since the signal was with these Outer World bandits, it was almost certain that Leo was among them.
"Maybe... it’s the Empire who arranged for someone to meet him."
The more Nimotin thought about it, the more likely it seemed, logically, who would blow up a bank and plunge into the Outer World, a veritable Purgatory, from a civilized country.
Only a spy would risk it, exchanging intelligence here.
Bandit gangs, motivated only by money and benefit, make for manageable enforcers that the Empire can use without getting their own hands dirty, and it’s cheap and effective for retrieving their elite spies.
"The Empire must have invested heavily! A spy possessing Arcane Energy and advanced skills, escorted by bandits—no doubt, he must be carrying huge intelligence, perhaps even Frost Plated’s secrets!"
Thinking this, Nimotin instantly felt invigorated.
"No, this Empire dog can’t die yet, he must be brought back alive, maybe this could be my ticket to rapid promotion!"
"Hold your fire for now,"
She called out, and her subordinates stopped firing, their eyes gleaming as they looked around, slowing the vehicle and continuing to scan with the detection chip to find someone fitting Leo’s physical characteristics.
Hiss...
"Why did they stop firing?"
"Who is attacking us, exactly?"
White Fang’s bandits felt perplexed as they looked at each other.
The scanning red laser instantly swept across each person, and the feeling of being seen through made the bandits of White Fang shudder, one of them being so frightened that he picked up his gun and sprayed a volley at her.
Da-da-da-da-da-da—
Nimotin swayed slightly, her body creating a series of afterimage illusions in mid-air, swiftly descending from the car as if strolling idly; she dodged the muzzle of the gun and with a flick of her right hand, a dagger shot out, instantly piercing through the gunman’s skull.

Nimotin raised her hand:
"No mercy, hit them hard!"
The Frost Plated Special Police immediately dismounted the vehicle, set up a tactical formation, and quickly found cover; with their excellent tactical prowess and overwhelming firepower, the ambushed bandits of White Fang were no match and were swiftly crushed.
Da-da-da-da——
The light from the burning gunpowder and explosions crisscrossed, and some bandits from White Fang slowly realized the situation.
This level of tactical skill, completely out of place for Outer World standards, the quality gunpowder that fired without smoke, and the snipers who casually picked off close-combat cyborg implanters—its identity was glaringly obvious.
"That’s the ’Frost Fang’ FF-114 rifle! Damn it, these guys are Frost Plated’s professional troops!"
One of the White Fang bandits realized and screamed in despair,
"Four Nations! It’s the Four Nations here to kill us—"
Before he could finish, the Frost Plated’s light machine gun suddenly swung around, tearing his face apart in a flash, blowing his skull open, and his white brain matter and chunks of flesh immediately covered the entirety of the cover around him.
"Shit!"
The bandits of White Fang were startled; it wasn’t their first time seeing Frost Plated’s military armament, they themselves held some of the resold old military weapons, but compared to the relentless meat grinders in the hands of the military police, their own weapons were nearly as harmless as fire sticks.
Nimotin’s subordinates unleashed ferocious firepower, grenade rounds, tear gas, and flash bangs came one after another, including those carrying Flash Shields moving close for cover shooting, and heavily armored combat engineers clearing out the confined areas.
Nimotin sat with her legs crossed, nearly two meters tall, perched high atop a container, her dark gold hair fluttering in the wind, her gaze continuously sweeping around.
Under the strike of Frost Plated Special Police, the overwhelmed bandits finally couldn’t hold on any longer, some threw their guns away and raised their hands high, shouting,
"Stop shooting, stop! I surrender, I surr—"
Before he could finish, a grenade exploded before him, shredding him open, his guts and innards immediately spilled across the ground.
"Come meet your own death, we have no time to capture you,"
Nimotin spoke casually, her perception vaguely catching a strong presence at this gathering spot. Now with the area cleared, she could focus on confronting the hidden powerful individual.
"Leo... where exactly are you hiding?"
Nimotin hummed softly, continuing to search for Leo’s traces.
..................
"Phew, that was really intense,"
The Scavenger’s yellow-black trench coat effectively hid Leo’s figure; in the sporadically rising winds and dim visibility of the Outer World, white was not a true camouflage; this yellow-black disguise was more easily overlooked in a lightless environment.
