Meteor Fall Master in the 'Starry Abyss'
Chapter 397 - 40. Blending

Chapter 397: 40. Blending

The young man stood still and said indifferently:

"Primitive planet, desert surface, hit by a meteorite decades ago, causing the crust to crack and radioactive material content to exceed limits—if operated smoothly, it could at least sustain a Radonuo Farm for two thousand years."

"Send me the location."

"I don’t have an interstellar communicator."

Olavir threw a bracelet to him. The young man deftly put it on and sent a message to him.

"—Sit down."

After receiving the message, Olavir’s expression didn’t change, but his tone became much more courteous:

"What’s your name?"

"Leoz."

Li Aozi took off his hood, revealing a perfectly handsome face.

[Charm Check Passed—Critical Success!]

[’Olavir’s’ favorability towards you increased.]

He slowly sat back at the bar, grinning:

"Once a stranger, second time an acquaintance, you’ll never forget me in the future."

"Are you sure... this information is true?" Olavir looked at Li Aozi suspiciously.

"Whether it’s true or not, you can see for yourself. Anyway, I’m not asking you for money. And no one else knows about this information either." Li Aozi shrugged, "If it doesn’t work out, you can drag me to Redd Gold’s shrine and ask His priest to sign a credit contract."

"Enough, I believe the information is genuine, but don’t continue with the Redd Gold topic. After all, He is the only Chief God present in the Starry Abyss now."

Olavir shook his head.

The Silicon Descendants had early contact with the Pathway and have always had a strong belief in deities, not daring to easily meddle with them.

But Olavir still raised a point:

"This thing isn’t cheap. How does a Magic Apprentice who hasn’t even graduated from university know such detailed information?"

Olavir opened a private channel, speaking seriously:

"If you sold this information to a larger Silicon civilization, they could directly give you an ’Annihilation’-class transforming spaceship, with a Zeta-level intelligent brain, plus a friendship medal."

Li Aozi shook his head:

"I’m seeking political asylum. Spaceships are of no use to me. In comparison, I need you to help me with two things."

"Don’t push it, magic boy." Olavir remained serious, "I can see you are a Tanas Race person. You must want to apply for asylum in a narrative-level civilization—let me be clear, the immigration difficulty is too high; I can’t manage it."

"It’s not that complicated. Listen to me first, then decide if you want to help. If the cooperation doesn’t work out, we can switch to something else."

Li Aozi casually took something out from his sleeve and naturally laid it out on the table.

Olavir glanced down: Li Aozi had laid out some general magic potions; compared to chemical drugs, magic potions were more tempting to brewers.

Although it wasn’t anything precious, Olavir still kept it.

Given Li Aozi’s persuasive words, this was quite easy for Olavir to accept. He nodded, looking at Li Aozi with more appreciation.

’This kid really knows his stuff. Definitely mentored by an old hand.’

He put away the magic potion bottle and said generously:

"Alright. State your conditions. As long as it’s not excessive, I can fulfill them."

Li Aozi saw that this tactic worked, completely unsurprised.

Olavir was an old acquaintance of the players and was the top intelligence trader in the Valkyrie Fortress. The tasks players received from him daily were more than those received from other NPCs in a year of begging.

Besides, although Olavir looked like a bar owner, as a member of the Silicon Descendants, he had lived for two thousand years already, with immense influence. He had traveled across the three major narrative-level civilizations, with friends, classmates, acquaintances, relatives, and partners scattered all over the Layer Abyss.

Even until late in Li Aozi’s past life, he never knew how terrifying Olavir’s connections were.

"First, I want to know where Mr. Ald Medcag Liue went after the Life Commune disbanded?"

Li Aozi asked.

"Hoh?"

Olavir was surprised:

"Why would you want to know this? This isn’t something a Beta Rank kid should understand—in the very least, Zeta, or even Delta Rank could suffice. But you wanting to know is only courting death."

"I have an important need and some academic questions that only Mr. Liue can answer."

Li Aozi said:

"The Life Commune researched the connection between Arcane Energy, genes, and souls back then, attempting to crack the limit of Life Entropy. It had initial results but suddenly disbanded. In the Layer Abyss, no one has surpassed Mr. Liue in the study of Life Entropy; only he can answer my questions."

"I can arrange a meeting for you. You can leave tomorrow."

Olavir nodded. As an omniscient, his power was considerable:

"What’s the second one?"

"The second one," Li Aozi said, "I want to connect with an Annihilation Priest. You can arrange it as you see fit. After it’s completed, I’m willing to give you a 2.3% share."

"Looks like smuggling." Olavir didn’t mind either.

The Valkyrie Fortress was already a place teeming with all kinds of people; as long as you paid your taxes to the base port, no one would care if you dueled on the street.

"However, I must remind you."

Out of a good feeling towards Li Aozi, Olavir kindly said:

"First, Liue has a bad personality, almost erratic. Her lab always has visitors who ’mystically disappear’ due to unkind remarks. If you don’t have Delta Rank strength, I don’t recommend visiting her, or at least hire a guard."

"Second, I’m familiar with the Annihilation Priests and can introduce you now, but they are always arrogant. You better have some real substance—not something like Radonuo which could be measured by mere tens of millions of Ammonium Gold. The Temple isn’t short of money."

He looked at Li Aozi’s chiseled face:

"Narrative-level civilizations’ upbringing and morals are high but don’t apply to illegal regimes like your Crystal Tower civilization—by the way, you haven’t even graduated from college and you’re a mortal. They will definitely despise and look down on you."

"Understood."

Li Aozi nodded:

"Then introduce me now and take me to the Void Exchanger, I can ship the goods immediately."

Olavir couldn’t help but say:"Didn’t you hear what I said? Kid, in their eyes, you’re just a pretty, pure-smiling, wild-beautiful monkey. Without a narrative-level or star cluster-level civilization background, they won’t respect you."

"That may not be the case. This time, they will need me."

Li Aozi said calmly:

"In the future, they will be begging me."
