Chapter 343: 146. Heading towards the Eye of the Galaxy
[Side Quest "Black Sun Rising" has met the settlement conditions]
[Reward Settlement]:
A. "Backwater Battle"—The Red Squad, led by Narrow Space Mirror, has launched an attack on Shiratori Town Prison. You need to ensure that four Gamma Ranks can’t intervene in the suppression in a short period;
Narrow Space Mirror and Gretto have left the Sky Ring (meeting the settlement conditions)
Reward Skill[Barbaric Trample]—You can execute a target with health points below 10%, and if executed successfully, surrounding targets will experience a ’Shock’ effect (sensory and movement speed reduced by 90%, ignoring Dominator Body status), lasting for 3 seconds;
B. "To the New World"—By any means, shock the people of the Sky Ring, making them realize who their enemy is.
Current Progress: 97% (Global Shock)
Reward: Award a random Omega-level Arcane Energy.
[Reward Distribution in Progress...]
[You have obtained Omega-level Arcane Energy—Sequence 77·[Calamity]]
[Calamity Perception]: Omega-level Arcane Energy (Omega, the final Greek letter), dual benefits of[Will]and[Charm].
"You are the calamity of the universe, the nightmare of curses, the source of all tragedies. Because of your existence, the world has more tragedies and sufferings."
"Statistics and probability turn into mysticism under your hand, and exhaustive methods seem unable to break your evil crown."
"Good luck will not favor you, but at least you can bring calamity equally to everyone."
——[Primeval Heavenly Sovereign]Sorao.
Arcane Energy Performance:
Active Activation—Consume your Arcane Energy to guide something towards a disastrous and tragic fate. You can’t control the type of disaster, but you can influence its occurrence through contemplation.
Passive State—When any catastrophic event is about to occur, you will always be able to foresee it through various means;
"I did not bring calamity, I am calamity."
[Range]—Everything within visible range.
Current Development Level: Perception Level. At this development level, the consumption rate of Arcane Energy is—110%;

With an additional Sequential Arcane Energy[Calamity], Li Aozi didn’t know if it was good or bad since he didn’t have a nation.
However, no matter what, at least it wasn’t Sequence 82[Bloodline], whose strength was merely mediocre and had nothing praiseworthy.
"Let’s use it for now. It’s still better than non-sequence Arcane Energy."
Li Aozi’s body was encased in the azure Armor and accelerated continuously using the gravitational field to drag the biological pool, flying deep into the cosmos. He expertly navigated through Azure Star’s satellite clusters, space junkyard, and asteroid belt.
He was sure there must be a fleet from the Fenesis Federation nearby, closely monitoring the Ersha-infested Azure Star, as anything flying out of it might carry the seeds of Lord Entropy.
Li Aozi didn’t want to be interrogated by the Fenesis Federation and go through complicated procedures. He knew how bothersome this civilization’s bureaucracy could be. He positioned himself using Polaris and without hesitation, flew directly towards the nearest stellar system.
The players were relatively unfortunate. They originally wanted to look back at their hometown, but one by one, they were forced into hibernation by the biological pool until they reached the next stop, leaving them unable to operate.
Since they couldn’t do anything, the players logged off to take a walk or have breakfast.
In the end, no one noticed that there seemed to be an extra person on the ship.
Li Aozi had no particular thoughts about Yawen’s mid-way joining. During his flight in the cosmos, he had to operate with a highly focused mind, as one slight mistake could make him flash by like a comet and then eternally extinguish.
The Armor...[Armor of Leoz], had immensely fantastical capabilities. According to the skill description, not only did it integrate the cosmic flight ability of[Pegasus Power], but the exterior Armor also had the protection capability against radiation and vacuum, allowing Li Aozi to survive and work continuously in space.
Of course, its activation conditions were also very stringent. Li Aozi had to enable[Dominance Mode]and activate at least 11 Arcane Energies, each at a minimum of Kappa Level.
Meanwhile, the[Sword of Severing Firmament]from Morphederia, with such tremendous destructive power, only required six arbitrary Arcane Energies without level requirements.
To protect the biological pool, Li Aozi linked himself and the pool with[Death Link], so if an asteroid hit, the damage could be transferred to him and repaired slowly.
The space environment was almost a vacuum, meaning objects would constantly accelerate, and casually throwing a stone could have the destructive power of a bullet.
Li Aozi’s greatest advantage was his flight relying on gravity, making him like a flying planet in space. With[Pegasus Power]’s passive effect nullifying his mass, theoretically, Li Aozi could continuously accelerate in the universe, eventually matching the speed of light.
Originally, Li Aozi’s plan was: using the gravitational slingshot method of several stars within the Azure Star’s star system, he would gain double speed in one go. The limitation was his own physical strength, with an upper limit of one-seventh the speed of light.
However, the appearance of[Armor of Leoz]brought him a pleasant surprise. The skill provided potent cosmic adaptability, allowing him to accelerate directly to 90% of light speed, which, though not matching the usual Star Gates and wormhole nodes in the cosmos, was still a significant upgrade for Li Aozi.
Thus, Li Aozi planned to change his approach.
His initial target was some planetary civilization under the twelfth narrative-level[Obliteration Sanctum]. As a narrative-level civilization with strong religious influences, the[Obliteration Sanctum]’s priests and incense bearers were spread across every civilization, enhancing their faith and stabilizing their rule.
The first Layer Abyss ’Layer Abyss’ had only three narrative-level civilizations, all difficult to deal with.
Narrative 11 "Union Group" (United Company)
This was a typical Universal Mega Corporation where corporate groups had replaced administrative departments. They worshiped the former Raiding sect’s Chief God ’Redd Gold’ and mastered the plunderer’s pathway, being the weakest of the three but having significant influence.
As a permanently neutral narrative-level civilization, the "Union Group" could freely traverse any battleground and sensitive Starfield. They only recognized the cosmic currency ’Ammonium Gold’; if the money was in place, anything was negotiable. However, it wasn’t a suitable place to live, as even the air to breathe was sold in categories.
Narrative 12 "Obliteration Sanctum" (Temple of Annihilation)
In contrast, "Obliteration Sanctum" was a highly conservative narrative-level civilization, deeply devoted to religious undertakings and firmly believing in a ’pantheism’ concept. Through theological research, they achieved the most prominent status in the Void field, creating an immensely powerful deity system.
The "Obliteration Sanctum" could mass-produce deities using spirit maggots and Void Energy, and by sowing deities on controversial planets, they would quickly recruit deities to join the Pantheon upon awakening, thus acquiring the most enormous territory in the Layer Abyss.
Narrative 13 "Empire of Heralds" (Lords Empire)
Unlike the historically long-standing narratives above, the "Empire of Heralds" was youthful and ambitious. It rose to narrative-level greatness because a Philosopher King united a group of Nebula-level and Star Cluster-level civilizations, forming a vast federation empire through the King’s charisma.
