Me, A Villain! Is It So Wrong To Live off The Heroines?
Chapter 49 - You’ve Got Some Nerve!

Chapter 049: You’ve Got Some Nerve!

While the old man was still regulating his breath, Lin Feng took the chance to send a message to his goddess, then waited eagerly beside him. He had finally mastered the long-awaited transmission of the Dragon Command Technique.

According to the old man, once this spirtual technique was cultivated to perfection, he would wield the awe-inspiring might of a dragon with every gesture, allowing him to crush all who dared oppose him. One could imagine how terrifying its potential truly was.

Just then, his phone chimed. The goddess had replied? Lin Feng perked up, heart pounding, and his hands trembled slightly as he hurriedly picked up the phone. A single line of text appeared on the screen:

【Lin Feng, please don’t contact me again. I don’t want Mingxuan to misunderstand.】

Lin Feng: “…”

What the #%@#%@# was this? You’re afraid Mingxuan might misunderstand? Is Su Mingxuan that important to you? You haven’t even known him that long!

Lin Feng was so furious he nearly threw his phone on the spot. Fortunately, he managed to hold it in. This was the newest Pear 16 model, something he’d worked part-time for six months to afford, originally bought as a gift for his goddess.

But she never even accepted it, leaving him heartbroken for ages. Now thinking back, it really wasn’t worth it. Seven years of unrequited love—how pathetic could he be?

Damn it, I’m going to be the Dragon Lord in the future!

The more Lin Feng thought about it, the angrier he got. He opened the messaging app and angrily typed out a reply.

【Fine, you said it yourself! Thirty years on the east bank, thirty years on the west—don’t bully the poor! Just so you know, I’m not the same Lin Feng I used to be. Don’t you dare regret it later.】

After sending the message, he spat angrily to the side in frustration.

“Ugh—?” the old man suddenly opened his eyes.

He reached up and wiped his face. What the hell?

The old man: “…”

Lin Feng: “…”

“You spat on me?!” The old man looked like he wanted to beat Lin Feng to death on the spot.

“Ah! I-I’m sorry, Master! I didn’t mean to—I was just too angry—!” Lin Feng panicked and apologized nonstop.

The old man’s face darkened as he stared at Lin Feng, barely suppressing the fire in his chest. He slowly exhaled.

“Lin Feng, how many times have I told you? A man who seeks greatness must be above petty emotions. You must learn to control your anger. If people can read your thoughts so easily, how will you ever control them?” the old man said gravely.

“Thank you for the guidance, Master.”

Lin Feng bowed quickly and wiped the sweat from his forehead. That was close. Good thing the old man didn’t blow up. Otherwise, he’d be eating fists by now.

The old man stared at him for a moment, then suddenly pulled out a token and tossed it over. “Take this. It’s the Dragon Gate Token. Whoever holds it commands like the Dragon Lord himself. Whether you can rebuild Dragon Gate and earn their recognition… depends on you. Once you control Dragon Gate, what woman can resist you? Why hang yourself from just one tree?”

Lin Feng caught the token like it was a priceless treasure. The Dragon Gate Token… with it, he could command most of the sect. Finally, it was his turn to be awesome. Jiang Ting, you just wait and regret it!

“Thank you, Master,” Lin Feng said gratefully.

The old man waved him off. “Go on. My cultivation is nearly spent. My days are numbered. Yingxi and Yuexi, those two girls, I leave to you. Just remember—if you bully them, even as a ghost I’ll come after you.”

Lin Feng nodded seriously. Yingxi and Yuexi were his precious treasures. How could he bear to bully them? If anything, hadn’t they always bullied him instead?

Still… once they found out he’d received the inheritance, what kind of expression would they make?

Heh heh heh…

Meanwhile, back in Su Mingxuan’s company, Jiang Ting stared at the message Lin Feng had sent her with deep disgust. “Thirty years east, thirty years west…” How many thirty years does a person even get? Even if you’ve changed, who cares?

Without hesitation, Jiang Ting blocked him. The sense of relief was instant. Last time, he almost caused a misunderstanding between her and Mingxuan. Jiang Ting wasn’t about to let some fly in the ointment ruin her relationship. She was still waiting for him to come.

Lying on her office desk, she closed her eyes to rest a moment.

Creak—

The door to the office opened. Jiang Ting felt a flutter of joy in her heart but kept pretending to sleep. Because she was lying down, anyone entering would get a clear view of her perfect curves. She had, of course, done this on purpose. Everything she wore, every little gesture, was meant for that man.

Su Mingxuan quietly closed the door and glanced over her body. He had to admit… that sleeping pose was top-tier. Words couldn’t capture the seductive aura she exuded. In short—it could fulfill any man’s fantasy of a perfect secretary.

Su Mingxuan smiled, stepped forward, and smacked her rear lightly.

“You’ve got some nerve, sleeping in my office as a mere assistant? Looks like… you don’t want this job anymore.”

“Wuwu~~”

Jiang Ting jolted “awake,” her face filled with pitiful desperation. “No, President, I really need this job… Please, don’t fire me~~ I’ll do anything~~”

Su Mingxuan: “…”

She was acting really well.

“Then let’s see how you perform,” he said calmly and returned to his desk.

“Yes, President… Wuwu~~” Jiang Ting wiped her eyes and obediently knelt down.
