Chapter 364: Chapter 225: These Two Are Excessively Annoying_3

"Sure, sure!"

Li Ya knew the chance had come and quickly said, "Mommy, let’s not wait for next time. We have liquor at home, right? How about we invite Sister Xiao Er..."

She paused, "and Mr. Chen, to have a taste?"

"It’s perfect, Mr. Chen can also drive us home and then he can call for a ride-share."

"It’s not very convenient," Chen Cheng was the first to speak, seemingly having already seen through Li Ya’s little schemes.

Xiao Meier also responded, "Yeah, we’re not prepared. It’s my first time going to your place, Sister Lin..."

Perhaps Wen Shulin really felt like drinking today, especially after revealing all her secrets to Chen Cheng. She needed some alcohol to calm her emotions.

"What’s so inconvenient about it? We have everything at home, just missing our guests."

She said this while playfully kicking Chen Cheng under the table, "Mr. Chen, what do you think?"

Chen Cheng: "Since Chairman Wen has spoken, Xiao Er, shall we give it a try?"

"Then let’s go buy some small gifts later, it’s always not nice to go empty-handed."

Wen Shulin: "Xiao Er, are you still being formal with me? I’m already so happy that you can come to my place."

"Sister Lin, saying that makes me feel embarrassed," Xiao Meier smiled shyly, feeling warmth in her heart.

Su Liya chimed in from the side: "Exactly, Sister Xiao Er, don’t be formal with Mommy. Our home has everything, make yourself at home."

"Alright then, next time, I certainly won’t come empty-handed," Xiao Meier said.

"Great! Great!"

Su Liya laughed joyfully, "Our home finally has its first guest!"

After dinner, the four of them walked out of the revolving restaurant.

As it was close to closing time, there were many people waiting for the elevator outside the restaurant, and it took a while before they could squeeze in.

The four stood at the innermost part of the elevator, Xiao Meier on the left, Wen Shulin on the right.

Wen Shulin’s hand stealthily grasped Chen Cheng’s palm, her tender thumb caressing the back of his hand.

Chen Cheng’s fingers curled slightly, feeling the warmth of Wen Shulin’s palm, his heartbeat involuntarily sped up a bit.

He turned his head to look at Wen Shulin, only to see her staring straight ahead with a faint smile on her lips, as if nothing had happened.

But Chen Cheng knew, it was just her disguise.

This woman, outwardly cool and elegant, was actually passionate and boldly unrestrained.

He liked this contrast in her; such a woman truly could be addictive. If not for having confirmed their relationship, Chen Cheng really feared he might sink deeper into the temptations of Wen Shulin.

"Xiao Cheng, are you going to drink too later?" Xiao Meier asked from the side.

Chen Cheng discreetly withdrew his hand from Wen Shulin’s palm and smiled, "Tonight, you drink, I’ll pass."

"Mr. Chen is visiting my house for the first time; he should drink a little for good luck," Wen Shulin nudged Chen Cheng gently.

Su Liya chimed in eagerly, "Yeah, Mr. Chen, just drink a little, my Mommy has a lot of good liquor!"

"Just you talk a lot."

Wen Shulin gently tapped on Su Liya’s forehead, then turned to look at Chen Cheng with a gentle smile in her eyes, "Well? How about it?"

"Just a little then," Chen Cheng nodded in agreement.

Wen Shulin covered her mouth and laughed, "Your Cantonese really has a touch of alley flair."

"Looks like I need to learn Cantonese!" Chen Cheng responded.

As the elevator doors opened, the four of them walked out and headed to the parking lot.

While Chen Cheng went to get the car, Wen Shulin waited with Xiao Meier and Su Liya.

He thought to himself as he walked: "Ah, these two really wear one out!"
